The decor is a blend of rustic country items and elegant sparkly touches. It’s all about comfort and charm, practical amenities and luxurious details. It’s clean as a whistle.
It’s set in the woods, gorgeous greenery everywhere. I’d love to return in the autumn.

The location is secluded and gorgeous. The cabin is adorable and beautifully decorated. We brought our dogs and they loved the peaceful atmosphere. It was so relaxing to sit on the porch watching the rain and relaxing on the deck. The garage area was a bonus. Would love to stay again in the fall. Cute towns to visit. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to relax and unplug.

Perfect 4 night stay. Cabin was clean, comfy and secluded. Close to Belleayre skiing and not to far from Woodstock. Would definitely stay again

A lovely property, serene and private but still close enough to town to be convenient; it made an excellent home base for exploring the local area. It is incredibly cozy and comfortable, especially after long outings. It's clean, well-maintained, and nicely presented. We're planning to recommend this place to friends in the future, and hope to someday come back ourselves.

Love this house and property so much! We rented for a month during early COVID and again Labor Day weekend 2023. It feels like a home away from home. My kids are already asking me when we can go back.

The cabin has everything you need, you can hear the stream from the property. Central location, we went to Woodstock, Bethel Woods, Zoom Flume Water Park, a boat ride on the Hudson & Belleayre Mountain for a gondola ride with beautiful mountains views. My sister & I found a couple places on Esopus creek & waded in, my favorite part of our trip. All in all it was a great week. Don't forget to go out at night & star gaze, so beautiful! Thanks Therese!

My husband and I live in Northern Michigan, our grown children live in Brooklyn, and we had a big birthday to celebrate (my husband's)! We'd stayed in the Shandaken area before and loved it, and wanted to find a place that felt like it was in the middle of the woods while being convenient to everything we needed – and wanted – during our stay, from hiking to grocery shopping to dining out. The house was clean, comfortable, and very inviting. We all had a great time and would love to come back!

The property is charming. The land and cabin are beautiful. However, we stayed there in July, and with no air-conditioning, it was very hot and humid. Perhaps this cabin is good for winter or fall, but not for summer. Unfortunately, we also experienced a black ant problem. We had to put all dry opened foods in the refrigerator because the large black ants would get into the packages.

Another wonderful stay at Theresa's cozy cabin. This was our first time coming for Memorial Day weekend and there were plenty of hiking trails and outdoor activities all of us. Great location. Great wifi. Dog crate in the garage was perfect for when we went to dinner and had to leave our pup behind.

The pictures of this property do not do this property justice. This house is well-maintained, cozy, and very cute. Much better than we expected. The communication with Therese was spot on and getting into the property was seamless. Not far from the heart of the town and has many outdoor adventures nearby if you are looking for that type of entertainment. We really enjoyed our short but relaxing visit! - Andrea & Andrew

We were pleasantly surprised by our cabin in the woods. As stated by other reviewers, the pictures don't do it justice. We loved the little touches like community candles, spices and every pot and kitchen supply you might need. The only thing missing was batteries for the remotes. That's any easy oversight. Aside from that this was exactly what we were looking for for a 2 night get away. There were many interesting places to visit and eat that Google completely missed. Give this little gem a try

All was perfect except: Note that flue handle is opposite of what it should be. All flue's are open handle toward you. Closed away from you. No big deal. We had a great time!!!!

Another wonderful stay
After spending a ski weekend at this property this weekend, I came back for a solo retreat with my pup and it was amazing. The property is so well-kept and the interior very cozy. The dog was right at home on the grassy area around the house. Theresa was easy to communicate with. Looking forward to another stay soon.

Terrific cabin in the Catskills nearish to great hikes, skiing, restaurants, towns, etc. fireplace, Bose speaker, lovely lighting, and comfortable seating area is a real treat.

We stayed for an extended weekend in a cabin in the woods! It was lovely. Clean, comfortable, and organized. Great location! We went skiing at Belleayre which was a short drive. We also drove a short distance to eat and get firewood in Phonecia. We hope to return!

Spacious garage for play - there was even a trampoline. Beautiful house with three bedroom and living room, and a deck. My dog could run freely around the house, the lot is big.
