The house was clean and kitchen had everything needed. The short walk to the beach was a plus. The game room was nice except all the pool sticks were in need of repair. We put new tips on 2 of them but the short pool stick was broken in half prior to us arriving and should be replaced. All in all we were happy with the rental property!

Well stocked kitchen . We do a lot of cooking so we appreciated all the kitchen accessories that were available. Did need a new can opener and had to rearrange the cabinets in order to find anything. Gas grill was full of grease. The house was clean and comfortable. Quick walk to the beach and the pool was wonderful. Lots of room for everyone to swim. Large outdoor closet with every beach toy and game imaginable. Jets in hot tub very weak but it heated up well. All in all a great place to spend the week.

This was the second time we chose Nirvana for our OBX vacation and we're already reserved for next year! Our days are split pretty evenly between the beach, only a 5 minute walk away, and the large, heated pool and hot tub. The shed is well-stocked with a beach umbrella, chairs and toys, altho bringing some of our favorites added to the kids' fun. The TVs are hardly on at all with pool, foosball, and air hockey available inside and multiple games outdoors. The gas grill and outdoor table umbrellas were new and the deck furniture accommodated our whole family. The kitchen has an ample supply of dishes and flatware but could use some large fry/saute pans for meal prep. The only complaint about furnishings was the soft mattress in the newer mid-level bedroom. The few issues that did arise were promptly handled by the very responsive, pleasant staff at Shoreline. An A+ vacation!

The house was fine and clean. The lack of TV and internet starting Sunday for the rest of our stay was upsetting and disappointing. We missed all of the Olympics. Some of the people in our family needed the internet for work. The pool was great and we all enjoyed it.

We've been going to OBX for a few years now and this has been the best home thus far. It was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials you would need for a vacation. The home is child-friendly and the pool was great. Highly recommend Nirvana for your next family vacation home.

The house is lovely, with lots of modern touches. The pool area is beautiful. However, the pool doesn't have a handrail of any sort so it's challenging for young children and some of our older family members to get in and out of the pool with nothing to hold on to. The door in the downstairs bunk room also didn't close all the way, but otherwise the house is perfect. The basement area is such a great set up.

I'm only giving this house 2 stars because every shower in the house needs to be replaced along with the shower doors. They are all stained due to using incorrect cleaners, and the shower doors are corroding and gross. We had a very bad ant problem in the kitchen pantry which lead to throwing away food. We couldn't put any food on the kitchen counter. We called and this was addressed quickly but the damage was done. Despite this, the house was very nice, large, and the upper deck was lovely to sit out on during the afternoon and evening. You could hear the ocean! The walk to the beach was not bad at all. The pool was great! We had a wonderful week outside of the shower and ant issues.

This lovely home is just 4 houses from the Sturgeon beach access - a quick, easy walk. The ocean views from the well-furnished deck are amazing. The house is very comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and a nice bedroom configuration for our group of 12. But it was the large pool that was the highlight for us! We opted to heat the pool and we were in it throughout the day, every day. The shed is well-stocked with pool toys and once again, the selection of comfortable poolside furniture was impressive. We loved this house and after 22 trips to the OBX we have quite the inventory for comparison! A shout out to Shoreline OBX for their excellent communication and prompt response to the few issues we did have.

Nirvana is a wonderful vacation home! We all loved the layout of this house and could tell that it is well taken care of. The views are spectacular and the walk to the beach is so quick and easy. The pool area is the best we have ever had in our 25+ years of coming to the Corolla area. This is the first time that we have used Shoreline Preferred and they are great. Their communication is the best we have experienced with any realty company! We will use them again for our vacation needs.

My 4 star review is only because of ants in the kitchen and living room. The front doorway was really disgusting and we couldn't sit on the front porch because of the dead bugs. In the backyard, there was a bar with a built in cooler. The cooler was filthy and unusable. Otherwise the stay was great and everything went well, as expected.

The house location and amenities were excellent. The view from the upper deck is great. The Shoreline OBX service was excellent; they responded very quickly to our few maintenance requests through the week. The one challenge that was not overcome...some of the bedroom TVs were confusing to operate and were not used much because of this.

Beautiful house - tastefully decorated. Large pool (not too deep - maybe 5ft?) so perfect for younger children new to swimming or to use pool floats. Short walk to beach. Excellent neighborhood for biking/walking/jogging. We had an amazing week here and would happily book this house again. *Only recommendation to make this house better would be to remove all carpeting on middle floor, especially in two of the bathrooms. But based on the newer renovations to other parts of the house I'm sure that will be an upcoming project.* Really just a gorgeous and well maintained property, with beautiful sunset views from the kitchen/dining room/deck every night!

This beach house was perfect for our vacation in Corolla. It was very clean and had everything you needed and more. There were many games and activities to keep the kids entertained. The pool and hot tub were amazing!! Short walk to the beach and great view of the ocean from the deck. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time during our stay. We were so pleased with the house. It has one of the largest pools we've ever had at a rental, had a greach sand volleyball court and the rooms were spacious as were the bathrooms! The house is so close to the beach entrance, it was wonderful and convenient. Our only complaint is that there is a large cactus planting near the front entry stairs and my 5 year old just brushed past it and had spines all over his leg and foot and that was very rough. I think that should be removed from such a high traffic area. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay and we plan on booking again!

We had the best vacation! The location was excellent. Our group had a wide range of ages, from babies and toddlers to teenagers and adults. We were all thrilled with the house and location. We spent all day between the pool and the beach ( the beach was a 1-minute walk away). We also cooked in every night, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we would need. We used the beach gear rental voucher and the bikes and chairs were delivered right to the house. There were a bunch of beach chairs and pool toys at the house, which was great since a lot of our group didn't bring beach chairs. I would definitely stay here again.

Great house, great location in Corolla. Didn't have to leave neighborhood for any needs (grocery, shopping, breakfast etc). Across from the beach. My one critique is advertisement makes it sounds like there are 4 masters, but only 3 of the bedrooms have a connected bathroom. This was a little tough for a multi-family stay. Otherwise, highly recommend this property for value of size and location.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The property was clean and accurately represented on VRBO. The kitchen had all the items we needed to cook and the beds were comfortable, which is not always common in beach house rentals! We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Location and layout was great. Pool and Hot tub were well maintained. The house needs some maintenance though. There were two broken windows, several loose wooden boards on the deck, and the internet was not functioning properly at check-in.

Family Vacay
Property was nice, light and airy. The only complaint was that it was on the dirty side. We were afraid of this so I called ahead to assure it would have a good cleaning but no luck. There was still dirt on the carpets, in the bathrooms and kitchen area. I would rent the house again if it was through another agent that paid more attention to details and cleanliness.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Corolla Beach. We rented our beach house through ShorelineOBX Realty. Nirvana was everything that ShorelineOBX advertised and some. Nirvana had all the comforts of home plus the large pool was a plus for our grandchildren. The garage was filled with all the extras such as pool floats, beach chairs, bikes, coolers, inflatable pumps, children buckets & shovels for the beach and much more. Access to the Beach was right across the street & the beach house had plenty of deck space to enjoy the beautiful Outter Banks Sunrise. A lot of things wrong with house but overall we liked the house. Wouldn't rent again though. Few things broke, lawn was never mowed while we were there (lots of weeds). Mold in all showers in corners. Microwave glass fell out but they came right away.

The house was in a great location with a very short walk to the beach access. The pool was also great, a good size and clean. The house was not clean upon arrival however. The microwave was missing the door cover and one of the downstairs sliding doors was missing a lock. The rental company was responsive and sent someone to clean the bathrooms and fixx the lock. Our experience was good but the house could use some TLC. A little updating would go a long way. I would rent again or recommend if there was some updating done.

The location of the home was perfect - a short walk to the beach with views of the ocean from inside. We loved having the pool to come back to. The size of the home was perfect for 2 families. Lots of fun games for the kids. The negatives - the home was not really clean upon arrival. Crumbs all over the kitchen floor, etc. Shower door in upstairs bathroom constantly came off track.

We had a great week. Loved the area, restaurants, beach, weather, pool. The rental was good with a few minor issues. Very responsive rental company. make sure you use their website. Very user friendly.

The house was great - close to the beach access. Enjoyed sitting on the upstairs deck drinking coffee in the mornings watching the beautiful sunrise! And we all enjoyed the big pool. Would definitely recommend this property to friends!
