Perfect for our family of 4 for a long weekend.

This home is beautiful. It was a bit further from the ocean than I anticipated, but the walk there was great. Was nice to be able to walk to beach and to breakfast, lunch and dinner. We would stay again.

Best decision was to stay here in Carlsbad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It is cute, clean and spacious. And the kitchen is great! Access was simple and the property manager quickly responded to any communication. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was completely updated with toiletries in all bathrooms and supplies for beach in shed outside. Seating outside and in with spacious seating inside as well. Cozy blankets provided, and it was such a nice welcoming space. It is walking distance to restaurants and shore which was perfect. We plan to return and stay in this location.

We had the most wonderful time visiting this property. Located very close to family living nearby and all of the cool Downtown Oceanside favorites we have missed since moving out of state. Would 1000% stay here again.

This home has everything you could ask for. Great outdoor area for relaxing. The kitchen is super well stocked with dishes etc…short walk to the ocean and conveniently located to many different shopping venues. Owners are wonderful and very accommodating. We look forward to our next visit next year. Thanks again!

This house was perfect for our family of 5. It was clean and beautifully remodeled. There are only 2 bedrooms, but there was plenty of room for everyone. We walked to the beach and delicious food options were less than a block away. The neighborhood was quiet and there was plenty of street parking. They even had boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and board games! There is someone who lives upstairs, so that was a bit of a surprise, as it wasn't disclosed in the rental information. We could hear them in the mornings, but it didn't detract from enjoying the home. Highly recommend this rental property if you are traveling to the beach!

The property was as advertised. Sandy beaches were a little further away but it was worth the drive. Spent most of our time discovering the area and and the beachs. The grandchildren certainly enjoy discovering the garden cactuses. The house was comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed. Would like to come back to stay longer!

The property was immaculate. It was well stocked. Pictures were true to property. It is convenient to carlsbad and Oceanside. We beached in carlsbad and took walks into carlsbad every day since that’s our favorite beach. The owner was really easy to work with. We would rent this again and recommend it to our friends.

Good Location, lots of restaurants, convenient stores nearby, one block to highway 101. The house owner is very nice and helpful for TV, garbage and other needs. Dewey

Best stocked kitchen I have ever seen. Clean and super comfortable beds and wonderful location. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

For the nightly cost that exceeds a hotel for two families, we expected more. Wifi was spotty and didn't work almost the entire time we were there. The owner did communicate they would try to fix it but to no avail. Not the best when you need wifi to work or not being able to do a movie night with the kids. There is no indication that this is a duplex, so the upstairs noise, garage noise, and dog barking isn't fun. Not to mention less privacy from an upstairs unit being able to see you in the backyard. There are also 2 sets of three large steps into a sunken tile living room, making it not ideal for small kids. Location says beach access, but it's a flight of 50+ steps, so there's no way to take kids or a wagon of stuff, so we had to drive elsewhere to a more accessible beach. These are things I wish we had known beforehand. Pluses include walking distance to nice restaurants, safe and cute area of town, some updates in the house, large kitchen, outdoor firepit, beach chairs, and boogie boards.

I had a last minute need for a place for five of us to stay near Del Mar for the weekend and this craftsman style home was open. It is lovely and well furnished, with the best stocked kitchen I have ever found in my years of renting through VRBO. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and everything was pristine, with lots of thoughtful touches.

The house was perfect for us. The location is fantastic. It had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We made a few suggestions to them for future renters for long term stays and they seemed receptive to our ideas (like shelves or drawers in closets for clothing for items that you would not hang up and switching the door on the dryer to open the other way). The weather was a little colder than we would have liked so we did not sit outside in the cute back yard as much as we would have liked but we did grill out some. Overall I cannot say enough about how comfortable this home was and how much we loved our five weeks here!

I really enjoyed my stay here at Liette's property. She was quick to reply to my questions and the place was in top condition & accurate to the description. Can't wait till my next visit!

The house interior was redesigned very nicely! Very functional sitting spaces, comfortable, clean, and inviting. The beds were very comfy and linens were high quality. The fire pit was perfect for the chilly nights! The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to make a perfect family Thanksgiving meal. Felt like home! Will definitely stay again! Thanks!!!

We enjoyed our stay at this property so much last year, we stayed again this year. GREAT to be able to cook your meals instead of going out every day, but also close to restaurants when the mood strikes

This was a beautiful home. The owner Liette is very helpful and accommodating. Price was listed at a fair price in comparison to others. There are some great places to eat within the area. Quiet neighborhood. Its about 10 mins drive from pier. I would do it again Thank you

The location was the very best! The home was a bit cluttered for our taste and had little space to sit and eat besides the formal dining area. Plenty of space, good parking and the neighborhood was great to walk to the beach and restaurants. We always felt safe here. The place was quiet and clean.

Beautiful property and great location

We enjoyed the layout of the house. The house gets warm but there's plenty of fans and windows to open. The location is great. it's within walking distance to mini markets and restaurants. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the house wasn't as clean. The kitchen tops were dirty, the bed sheets felt dusty, and the outside patio was filthy. I informed the property manager; the patio was cleaned later that afternoon. The bamboo backyard is no longer. The property manager informed me that they had to remove the bamboo due to rats, which there was two rat traps visible at the time. I

I stayed at this beautiful home with my Mom, Dad, and sister while we were in the area visiting my brother. It is a beautiful home and it was well appointed. My dad enjoyed looking at the antiques that were displayed and there was plenty of seating for us to sit together, as well as plenty of room for us to spread out. There is a large patio with patio furniture and a fire pit, which was enjoyed by all. The house is in a super cute neighborhood and so close to the beach, an excellent breakfast cafe, and coffee shops...all well within walking distance. The communication with the property owners was above and beyond. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We had a great weekend and I'm looking forward to coming back!

Great location and ample parking. Had all the amenities we needed. BONUS - great kitchen for entertaining and a lovely back patio. Very clean and hope to stay there again.

We loved this place. We come to the area every year and this was the first home where we decided we’d love to stay again. Each room is a good size, the bathrooms are gorgeous and spacious, the living room sectional was perfect for our family movie nights, and the kitchen is updated and well stocked. The neighborhood is cared for and quiet. We liked the “non-hilly”streets to take walks on. There are a lot of antiques (breakable stuff) which is nerve racking as a mom with kids, but because it was mostly confined to the entry room, I just kept my kids out of that area. There was an issue that popped up during our stay but the owner and the property manager had great communication with us and were quick to help make it better. Before arriving I was concerned about no air conditioning and street parking but there was absolutely no issue with either of those- which was a nice surprise. The location is just a couple blocks east of Pacific Coast Highway so that means lots of places to walk to and easy trips to Carlsbad, Encinitas and Oceanside. We definitely recommend this home for 2 couples, a small groups of friends, or a family of 4- like ours and hope to be back soon!

We have stayed in dozens of VRBOs so I feel like I have broad experience. I traveled with my husband, 3 kids. The loc. is great for certain things. We were able to walk to a breakfast place, gas/convenience store, Mexican restaurant, brewery and more. There is also great access to an almost waterfront walking route and we loved walking it - about a 2-3 mi. We did it with two strollers and a special needs kiddo… point being the walk is very assessable. To the north - about a mile the neighborhood is not as desirable. North O is not the same vibe as South O. Sandy beaches are a 5-8 min drive away. Public parking lots available for $5 all day. A great price! We got to the Oceanside City Beach at 9:30 on a Sat. and the parking lots had plenty of room. Bathrooms, food, and lifeguards available. A few of the beach chairs at the house need to be replaced asap. We sat down in one and fell through because the fabric has gone bad. The boogie boards (2) and umbrella (1) are helpful. There are also about 5-6 beach towels at the house which was great. The house itself is interesting. It has split levels, sharp/hard stone floors/stairs to different levels (my daughter fell (special needs) and demolished her shins on the stone steps). There is no primary suite.. Just two bedrooms and two baths. There is an upstairs unit which someone occupies - I wish this had been more obvious in the property description. We could hear people walking around up there but otherwise never saw them. There is a formal living room staged with a bunch of antique furniture - not practical for anyone - we never used that room once which is 1/4 of the house you have available. There was a large TV in the family room but no box or cable or option for watching anything (roku, etc). Wish we had known that. The reviews rave about the kitchen. It’s nice, but doesn’t have a lot of options (very few bowls, no food storage options (Tupperware or ziplock) no stemless wine glasses or acrylic wine glasses for outdoors, no tin foil… but we were able to get by cooking two dinners and two breakfasts. The bar height countertop table is also not practical - tight fit and right next to stairs. We mostly ate outside. All patio furniture had to be dusted off/cleared of cobwebs, leaves. The bedding throughout the house needs an update. There should be area rugs in the bedrooms because it echoes and it’s pretty sterile under your feet. Window coverings need an update. Bathrooms were very nice!

Everything went very smooth Renting this property we even arrived early and were able to check in 3 hours early
