We had several people who were competing in Wakefest, this place was great! Plenty of room and things for the kids to do like board games and such. Beautiful views as well! Would highly recommend!

Everything was as described and perfect for a getaway

The house is a wonderful place to stay for family gatherings. It is inviting and cozy. The lake view is spectacular, and the property is mostly private and incredibly peaceful. My only negative comment was, in the description states that Center Hill Lake is a 1 minute walk. To me, that sounds like we could take a trail or a pathway to the lake but that is not the case. There is no lake access. Nevertheless, it is a great place to vacation! Marcy was very responsive and accommodating and everything went very smoothly.

Beautiful home, very clean. 10 miles off the main road. Backyard has a drop off. Would not advise for small children.

Overall a great experience, great communication from the property Manager, she was flexible on check in/out times, which we appreciated. The home is large and welcoming. Property description is accurate. Home is in a VERY remote location, driving to property at night can be very intimidating if not use to TN driving, as we were visiting from FL. We had wi-fi speed issues when more than 3 people connected. Also, backyard is very steep with drop off, not noticeable from pics. Parents with straying young ones will definitely need to look over them closely. Thank you for letting us spend Thanksgiving in your home!

Our family had plenty of space to eat, sleep, and play at this property. The kids enjoyed playing ultimate frisbee and bike riding.

Perfect Center Hill getaway!
A+++ on absolutely everything. Location, cleanliness, view, easy to get to, accuracy of listing, everything was spot on. Our group has stayed at Center Hill yearly for quite some time and this property is by far the best one we’ve ever stayed at. Perfect for larger groups needing plenty of space. Also a perfect spot for groups bringing in boats because of the location and parking situation. The host was timely with responses to any of our needs and made it such a painless experience with check in and check out (even neighbors were friendly). Would definitely come and stay here again.

Enjoyed the Stay
House was nice and clean, plenty of space for 8 people, owner was nice and helpful. House was 30 minute drive from Smithville, a little more than we expected, but still okay. Bottom of stairs into lower level was a little tricky, just something to be aware of. There was an extra step that fooled a couple of people. Fire pit was nice, had marshmallow roast. Will likely stay again.

Great place for large group
We had 8 adults stay here for 2 nights to spend the days out on the lake. About 15/20 minutes to Sligo marina to launch. House was super clean and spacious, had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen one night and grill the other. Great view of the water from the large balcony. Internet worked great and had sound machines in every bedroom which was one of lots of little things the house had which made it a great stay! Would certainly stay here again.

Gorgeous remote sanctuary
This is an incredibly beautiful, comfortable, very private home. Marcie was a great host - communications were timely and thorough. Kitchen well stocked. Back yard firepit was our favorite gathering place during the cool fall nights. Neighbors dogs were sooooo sweet as were the human neighbors!

Great lake house
Great house, the kitchen and living room has all the supplies and accessories you could need. With plenty of bedrooms and living space, it's perfect for a larger group. The house doesn't have water access but there is a great view of Center Hill Lake off the back 2-story deck. The location is very private/somewhat remote but has beautiful nature and is close enough to a few marinas and gas station, etc. Would definitely rent this house again and recommend to others.

Sparta Lake House
Very nice accommodations and plenty of room for family. We were in town for a wedding. The only drawback was the long drive into Cookville for wedding events---But the distance was in no way a negative rating for the accommodations. Loved the nights and early mornings out on the deck(s). Made a new friend--EllieMae [you will too when you stay here :-) ].

The house was perfect for our group. Spacious, well stocked, and clean. Marci was great with communication and answering any questions in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

Guys getaway weekend
The property is hands down one of the best I've stayed in after more than a decade of renting homes on VRBO. So much space. The beds were comfortable. Tons of items - cooler, glasses galore, pots and pans, extra fridge, ice maker, candles, etc. The vista is gorgeous. It is remote - took us a full 15 minutes to get back to the property from Highway 70 - which made going anywhere from the property a bit of a hike. But it is well worth it. We rented a pontoon from the Sligo marina nearby which was amazing, did a hike at the falls an hour away, hit Uncle Nearest distillery and got some hot Nashville chicken in Murph. My wife wants to come back with the adult children and do the vacation with the family! I do too.

Comfortable home for large group on Center Hill Lake
We enjoyed our stay with family & friends. Home was comfortable and communication was great. Center Hill Lake was beautiful, with lots to explore.
Sligo Marina was closest -20 min. Burgess Falls was 20 minutes, as well. Thank you for sharing your home.

Memorial Weekend Family Getaway
The property was beautiful and super roomy for our group of 11. Lots of space to gather together, but also to retreat on your own. Great setup for kids!

Exactly what we wanted!
What a wonderful trip! The house was amazing, with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed the two large balconys, porch swing, hammock, and loved the coziness of the fireplace. Everyone had their own bedroom, lots of bathrooms, plentiful amenities, beautiful artwork/decor... we enjoyed every minute. The homeowner was very responsive and so nice to work with. House instructions were very clear, and all details arrived earlier than we expected. I can't say enough great things about our experience!

Great getaway in Tennessee
We had a great stay! Super private and relaxing. Beautifully decorated home with an amazing floor plan which allowed for everyone to spread out and have their space. The double level decks over looking the lake were amazing. If you want a break from the hustle bustle of life I highly recommend this luxurious home.

Out in the country
Home was lovely and had a nice view but was very isolated. Was great for Covid-19 distancing. Everything, including grocery store was at least 15 minutes away.

Nice house, needs a lot of maintenance.
We stayed at this location for 2020 Wakefest. The house is nice with great view. Big house with plenty of room.
Sadly owners arent maintaining home like they should for clients. Examples: rear decks and handrails of home are unsafe, not to code, nor are they abiding by VRBO safety guidelines. The handrails are completely hanging off the rear bottom deck in two locations, top deck handrails are loose and missing spindles all over, deck boards are pushed up and nails are exposed, door trim and molding is rotted out completely of rear of home. House needs alot of work at this time. I would not recommend to families with small kids until all repairs are made.

Very nice!
Really enjoyed the stay! Spacious enough for large families. Beautiful view of the lake. Very “homey” feeling. Loved the decor and provided items. Friendly dog, Allie, that belongs to the distant neighbor, may approach. Owner was very responsive. Easy check in and out.

Perfect family getaway!
The home was very clean and extremely well equipped to host any size family or group. This home is not your average rental. Everything from bedding, TVs , furniture, etc and all the way down to the bath towels where of high quality. Home is located on what we prefer as boaters to be the best part of the lake. Center Hill is our escape from our busy lives to spend time as a family and we have stayed in almost every comparable property available over the years. We have found a few that were accommodating, but none that hold a candle to this property. The bath towels were pretty impressive, but what well exceeded my expectations most was the manager and owners prompt Communication and overall hospitality.

Spacious and clean home, quiet location
Our college engineering team recently stayed here for the good part of a week. It's off the beaten path but the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The house was spacious enough for 18 of us to live comfortably and enjoy time in the living room and back deck. The owner was very helpful, we enjoyed our stay!

The house is beautiful, but the location is lacking.
The house is lovely and as listed, but the location is very remote and the lakeview is also somewhat deceiving. You can see some of the lake, but there is no way to get to the water without a marina and boat. There are only 2 swimming areas we found, one unusable and the other about an hour away. It's not the owner's fault, I should have researched the lake more, but made the assumption this was a lake community we were renting in and it was not. I wish the listing had been more specific about the limitations for water sports.
