Esta hermosa villa de tres dormitorios de estilo mediterráneo en el interior del Wyndham Rio Mar Grand Resort es perfecto para sus vacaciones familiares. Si esta es su primera visita a Puerto Rico o su escapada anual del frío invierno en los Estados Unidos, esta villa se convertirá en su hogar lejos de casa. El Resort cuenta con todo lo necesario para una gran escapada. la atracción más importante de Puerto Rico, Nacional El Yunque Selva, se encuentra a sólo unos minutos de la carretera y una visita al Viejo San Juan se encuentra a poca distancia en coche.
Todos nuestros huéspedes son recibidos en el hotel y se puede disfrutar de los distintos servicios que se ofrecen, como golf, tenis, casino, restaurantes, gimnasio y el spa Mandara. Our family enjoyed 5 nights in this villa. The villa was well appointed with many amenities. The owner clearly considered the needs of vacationers and families . The villa was clean, beautiful, and in a great location. We were close to Luquillo beach and many restaurants and shops (within close driving distance). The proximity to the pool and beach were convenient. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the morning sunrise made it even better. Our host was responsive and easy to work with. This was our first time in this area of PR and we will definitely visit again. Thank you for a great stay!

The stay at cluster 2 villas within the Wyndham Rio Mar golf and beach resort was fantastic. The property is well taken care of and full of beautiful scenery. Rafael’s villa is perfect for a family with plenty of room to spread out. It’s nice that the villa has a washer/dryer. You are able to eat at the restaurants within the Wyndham which has a delightful selection. My wife and I enjoyed the restaurant above the club house called Iguanas. Our family enjoyed the pool located in cluster 2 villas area, though the other pools are off limits for guests of the villas. Overall we absolutely enjoyed our stay in Puerto Rico and would specifically return to this resort in the future.

We loved our stay at Villa Carpe Diem. Our group comprised two families with four adults and four school aged kids. We had plenty of space and the layout of the condo was perfect. The resort amenities could not be better, we loved the easy access to the beach which was clean and has chairs available and the pool next to the beach was great as was the pool near the condo. The condo was well stocked with beach chairs, a cooler, beach towels, etc. Rafael was super helpful and communicative- he even sent a heads up warning with an alert for big waves one day. Overall, I highly recommend this condo!

The Villa had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. Their was lots of natural light and a nice breeze on the porch. The location was great to get to the beach and the pool. My kids loved the pool at the villa and down by the beach. Over all we had a great stay.

I attended my youngest son and daughter in law's wedding and this Vrbo was perfect. The host communicated well, the location was wonderful and the property was up to date and easy to stay in. The views are very pleasant and it was a perfect stay for my oldest son and wife, my two grandsons and myself. Thanks Rafael.

The property was located in a nice safe area, pool was nearby. Nice view of the golf course. The beach directly nearby the property was empty but was not in the cleanest condition & the waves were high so I suggest Luquillo Beach instead.

My husband and I had a lovely 4 night stay at Rafael's condo in Rio Mar with our two young children (a 2 yo and 10 mo old). The space is well equipped for a family and so delightful- comfortable, bright and breezy. Rafael was extra accommodating and communicative and provided us with a much needed second/extra pack 'n play. He also provided great recommendations for where to eat and drink in town. The condo association pools were nice and quiet and access to the beach was easy. We really loved everything about our stay and look forward to returning! One note- because we have a 10 month old on the move, it would have been nice to have a baby gate just to block off the stairs. We ended up making a barrier with chairs, but if I were to stay again, I'd probably pick up a gate.

The Villa is excellent. Very nicely decorated, kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms are comfortable, property is close to the beach (10-minute walk, 3-minute car ride), with nice view of golf course. I recommend it and will rent again in the future.

This villa was absolutely perfect for our family of 4 (originally booked for 6) loved the golf course views and how spacious the villa was. Fell in love with the island, it’s beautiful beaches and how close all of our adventures were in proximity to the Villa. ( everything we did was 10-45 min away) we also fell in love with the bakery Rico Pan 2 and the restaurant Las Picuas located 5 min away. We also enjoyed many dinners at Wyndham Rio Mar Hotel restaurants. Rafael was an incredible host, we lost power one day for 4 hours, not a problem just open your window’s and enjoy the island breeze, lost water pressure for a couple of hours Rafael responded promptly and had it back by the afternoon. The beds were big and comfortable, the kitchen was well stacked including an expresso machine, the bathrooms need a little maintenance but overall in good conditions. We had a wonderful time and plan to be back. My 11 year old daughter summed it up the best “you know what I love most about our villa mom” …. “it feels like Puerto Rico” YES IT DOES.

Wonderful getaway from the city.
The property was great and we truly enjoyed out time here. We had access to two pools and the beach was close by too. The views were phenomenal and it was a nice peaceful retreat. We also stayed at a lively hotel in San Juan and this was a nice change for us.

This home was perfectly suited for us size , amenity , accomadation and location wise . We had a better than expected trip. Rafael was easy and quick with his communication. The AC worked great and the washer was essential for us. I would return!

The home was clean and had everything two people could need for a 3 day trip. Golf, pool, spa and ocean. Lots of local restaurants outside of property within a 15 minute drive. Highly recommend a car if you want to enjoy local life. If just want resort trip, that is available also..

This was a great experience. We were 3 families spread through 3 apartments gathering together to celebrate New Years together. The apartment is as described and pictured. The breeze is absolutely amazing with the doors open. To stay in Rio Mar complex you do need a car to get around. Even if you have a golf cart, you still need a car to go of premises to do grocery shopping. I would definitely rent again from Rafael. Great apartment!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was as described. Rafael was a good host. We were a big group, so we hired a driver with a bus; if you do something similar, make sure you rent a golf cart to drive around the complex and back and forth to the beach.

Prepare to buy things like trash bags and extra toilet paper if staying beyond 3 days with 8 people. The host stated that they only provide the basics (4 trash bags and 4 rolls of toilet paper). I also had to purchase cleaning supplies, because there was very little provided.
In my opinion, there are even nicer places in the very same area that provide an even better experience. I know this, because my best friend stayed in an entire house with beach access for less. My lesson learned. BOOK EARLY!!!

There was a receipt for an exterminator on the counter and the following day two giant dead roaches appeared. You overlook the golf course, there is a community pool a few steps away. The picture of the pool next to the beach featured is a five minute gold cart ride or a 10-20 minute walk give or take. The owner was friendly, however via text it would take a while for me to get a response so if you have a question you may have to wait a bit. The listing description says it comes with a golf cart but the owner advised me that the golf cart is not his. It is his friends and if his friend isnt using it then it's there. So if you are set on using the golf cart you may want to verify if its available. I went when it wasn't peak time, I had to go for a wedding, so overall it was a good deal. For the price, cleanliness and location it was decent. The owner does stop it well with items you might need, cooler, towels, extra blanket, there is a washer and dryer. The coffee makers weren't the greatest but decent. The kitchen is amply stocked. The bedroom have chromecasts so you should have your account info for Netflix or Hulu or whatever.
