Another wonderful week on Edisto Island while relaxing at the Island Manor. Dean and Beth were always at the ready whenever we had any questions. Plenty of room for all 12 of us in this extremely well appointed home. We are all looking forward to a 2025 return visit!

This was our third year at The Island Manor! This house is perfect for our family. Lots of beds, baths and what could be better than sunrise/sunset from the porch? The kitchen has everything you need and the downstairs closet has beach toys! The house is conveniently located to grocery and restaurants. We’ll be back next year to make more memories!

This house was absolutely perfect for our crew! We stayed the first week of June and the weather was wonderful. We were able to walk for coffee and ice cream every day which was an unexpected bonus. The house is big and roomy. The living room allowed for most of our family to gather together in the evenings and the dinning room/kitchen bar allowed for plenty of seating for family dinners together. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and other utensils. The beds were comfy and there were ceiling fans in all rooms (I believe) which is pertinent to my crew. The views were amazing and the double balconies facing the ocean were used frequently. I will warn guests staying May-October, the turtle patrol is strict and will tell you to turn off porch lights and living room lights or draw the blinds closed. It is ocean front and they want to protect those baby turtles, something we didn’t really think about since hatching is typically later in the summer. Fabulous house. Does need a refrigerator with ice maker, a new can opener, more AC in the first floor bedroom, and the middle sliding door lubricated. Overall, the house is very well stocked.

This was our first visit to Edisto Beach, and what a fantastic hidden gem! We spent a wonderful week at Island Manor with our family including my mom who is 92. This house is so amazingly close to the beach. She was able to walk down easily and enjoy beach days! The icing on the cake was watching a loggerhead turtle building her nest one evening right in front of our home, a surreal experience! There is something quite special about this house, and we would love to return sometime in the future! Fantastic home and hosts

We totally enjoyed our stay in this house. Being so close to the beach is an amazing experience. The house was just as described online. We were able to meet the hosts and they were so very friendly and helpful. The house is furnished with everything you could possibly need. And if you are a book reader, you will love the selection of books.

The Island Manor makes is the perfect home for a family vacation. The location, right on the beach, is superb, the setup of the house and the rooms is ideal, five out of six bedrooms face the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being right on the beach was wonderful for coming and going to the ocean and sand. Being able to sit on the deck to observe sunrises was awesome! The house was so well equipped that we brought things we did not need to pack. The house was spacious, comfortable and clean. We walked to some restaurants and gift shops. Short drive to some others that we had been recommended and wanted to try. We would definitely recommend this house to others!

The house is great! We stayed here with extended family and there was plenty of seating and space for everyone. Everything you need to get started is there and we had a lovely time. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonder stay at the manor. The view is unbelievable and the sound of the waves is audible in all of the bedrooms. Communication with the owners was great and the house was very well appointed with everything you would need. We look forward to booking again soon.

We were a group of six who all loved staying at the very comfortable Island Manor. The hosts provided everything we could possibly need for a quiet four-day reunion. Great location and beautiful view.

This is a lovely beach house with too many amenities to list. It is a great oceanfront location with a wonderful view. The house is very comfortable and spacious. Anything one might need to enhance one's stay and enjoyment is provided by the hosts. My friends and I have been returning to this great house for about three years now, and plan to come back next year. It is great.

This house seems to be designed specifically for a large family spending a week together at the beach. There are beautiful views of the ocean from almost the whole property, indoors and out. You can hear the surf even when doors and windows are closed. There is lots of comfortable seating in the large gathering room (3 big, leather 3-seater sofas)-- again with beautiful views. (Not always the case with these large homes -- some don't have adequate seating in a single room.). There is a lot of seating on the 2 decks that run the entire width of the house. Lots of beach equipment. The proximity of the jetty results in a wider beach at this site -- more sand. Well stocked kitchen. Close to grocery store. The only thing missing was a bathtub, which is the only thing I can conceive might be a deal-breaker for someone. They did have seats in the showers, however. And like any beach front property (I assume) you have to climb a flight of stairs to get into the house. When we return to Edisto this is probably where we'll stay.

Loved, loved, loved our stay here! We came with our 3 kids ages 2-7, two sets of grandparents, and 2 uncles. The kids loved the triple bunk beds; we stayed in the queen room next to them, off the main living space; a bathroom with a small shower is on that level. The other 4 bedrooms were upstairs with 2 bathrooms with large showers. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was nice to have some pantry items like spices & coffee already there. We brought beach supplies, but they provided plenty of towels, toys, & chairs, we could've left ours at home. So great to be right on the beach. Nice large enclosed outdoor shower -- we mostly showered our kids out there. Be aware there's no bathtub, if you have little kids, but that wasn't a problem for us. The house was cozy, but we had enough room to work a big puzzle on the dining table, eat outside, and cuddle up on the couches and not feel cramped. It was our first stay on Edisto, and it was so lovely -- no crowds (early Oct); walk or 5 min drive to the grocery store, ice cream, shops, and restaurants. Sweet little small beach town feel. Beach access was easy, though be aware it could be a bit steep for our family members who have some mobility/balance issues, but it kind of depended on the tide and how other people on the beach set up, since there was a particularly high tide during one of our days. Altogether amazing stay -- the house was near-perfect for us, and we hope to return again!

Island manor is amazing. Pictures point on, location couldn't be better. Communication with the owner awesome, the girls were having a hard time finding the packer game on sunday and pretty patient with us trying to figure the tv out! The only downside was having all adults in our group and a main floor bunk room.. limited options for a few of us with stairs issues.. i can't wait until i can visit edisto island again with family...

Where we stayed was clean, had everything we needed, and it felt like home! We would vote for Dean and Beth as best hosts!! Well done!!!

Beautiful house! Amazing views!

This was our family’s second stay at Island Manor. We enjoyed reflecting on memories from last year while making new ones. The home is well equipped and conveniently located. See you next year, Island Manor!

This is a perfect place for three generations to enjoy a week together. The house is very welcoming. It is comfortable and thoughtfully arranged for everyone to spend time together and still have privacy when they want it. Breathtaking views, direct beach access. We especially enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and thoughtful gracious touches. Hosts respond immediately and are a pleasure to work with. Excellent all around.

Being right on the beach is such a plus. Good layout and well stocked. There were 14 of us: 8 adults and 6 children (including an infant), three generations.

This was a great house for our family vacation. The kitchen was well stocked, the linens and beach towels were very nice, and the convenience of being beachfront was fabulous, especially with two babies! Rocking the babies on the porch while watching the ocean was the best!!

We had a fabulous family vacation with the location being perfect. The issue I had was saying it was a 4 bath when it actually was a 3 bath with outdoor shower. The A/C vents had condensation in the 2 baths even though the lowest temperature was 70. The house needs many updates but all in all we had a great 30 days of fun.

This is a lovely beach house just steps away from the tides. The beach has lots of shells and my grandkids had a ball. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need and the washer/dryer is conveniently located just off the kitchen. There’s plenty of seating and TVs in nearly every room. Our younger ones enjoyed the bunk room. It’s obvious that the owners care for their guests comforts with throw blankets in case you get cold, beach chairs and games and even a booklet on the tides. We had an amazing family vacation thanks to Island Manor.
