This wonderful house was a real joy to stay in. Great set up kitchen. Outdoor and indoor dining to choose berween. Excellent wind-protected terrace on the second floor. Just everything that is promised is availee. Wonderful!

the house was comfortable and spacious, having the beach at your back door is awesome and the walk to town is as easy as the walk on the beach and I loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Having two refrigerators is a plus along with a gas grill. Had a great time and would do it again!

The house is perfectly located and has a relaxed vibe. The private-feeling sand area just outside the back slider was perfect for family meals and conversation. On the beach is the place to be! The house is near grocery stores and fun shopping, in addition to the freeway if you want to visit neighboring towns. We had a great vacation! This was the perfect spot to gather my siblings for a reunion. The house layout worked really well for us. Great ocean-facing deck off the upper floor, the sand right outside the first floor doors, and great wind-protected BBQ area. We were all perfectly comfy and would definitely return!!

If you want a relaxing getaway that can accommodate a large family or group and you love the ocean, it doesn’t get any better than you and this! I’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals from Hawaii and beyond and this was by far my favorite. The communication was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, the furnishings were spot on. The house was very clean, great location, very well appointed, very tasteful decor, everything there that you might need. The house was big and roomy. The multiple patios were great and we really enjoyed having coffee each morning out at the palapa in front of the house right on the beach. This house is directly on the beach and located just a few short blocks from the downtown area of shops and restaurants. The owners are great and touch base to ensure you have everything you need. This house has a lot of space!! Would definitely stay here again. We even saw dolphins and sea lions from the shore.

It felt like home as soon as you entered the door. Every day you wake up and say, this is a true vacation and don't want it to end!! Awesome location, and very short walking distance to restaurants and shops!!! Excellent food in Carpenteria and the restaurants and staff were all so friendly. Will be back to this great town for eating and shopping. And of course the beach!!!

Large spacious property that felt like home the minute we walked in. We enjoyed the three different rooms for socializing plus the outside patio. We rented this property because of the location on-the-beach so it is very ‘beachy’ - we’ll rent this again!

This is by far, the best beach house that I have ever stayed at in southern California. Children and the grown-ups all had fun, catching the waves on the boogie boards, laughing, flying kites, playing the Cornhole game, building sand castles, and enjoying the sunsets together "Right on the Sand!" It's better than expected. Comfortable beds, soft sheets, and a kitchen with everything we needed. Thanks for the memories.

This place is huge and had everything we needed for our family of 5 with 3 growing teens! The location was absolutely amazing. Walking out the sliding glass door onto the beach every morning was glorious and exactly what we were looking for in a beach getaway. We hope to come back soon!

If you want a cozy beach house with lots of space and the Pacific Ocean in your back yard this is the place for you...toes in the sand out your back door! Excellent ocean views from the upstairs patio off 2 of the bedrooms. The BBQ area had a gas fire place which made for a nice shelter from the chilly spring evenings and the outdoor shower was great to clean off sandy feet. You are within a short walk to down town Carpinteria. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and made so many fond memories with our boys. Matt was a friendly host and so enjoyable to chat with! We needed a safe gateway due to the bay area ski break that the kids had so we choose this lovely home. Being right on the beach and also having a spacious layout was perfect for the kids to have their space and for me to work virtually. The views were great from the first floor deck and the kids enjoyed the dunes while my wife and I relished the walks on the beach. The house is well stocked and we did not find us lacking for anything. We will definitely come back!

Great place to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. Abundance of out door space for gathering. Loved falling a sleep to the sound of the waves.

This was our third time renting this house, and I was once again reminded of why I love it so much. It is spacious without losing its warmth. It has every last thing a family needs to have a great stay, but it is not cluttered. It is in the perfect location. It is extremely clean. The owners are friendly. It is well-appointed, but not too fancy. It feels very much like a home away from home, and we are so grateful for the time that we have spent here making memories.

I treated my children and grandchildren to this wonderful home as a delayed Christmas gift/vacation. It was more than I expected and all of the amenities provided made this house feel like home. I look so forward to visiting again. Very very special!

My daughter, her husband and my two grandkids, ages 6 and 4 just spent the best family vacation ever at Sandyland. The house is great, plenty of room for everyone, everything at your fingertips. Best part: the back yard is the beach!! We hated to leave but will definitely be coming back--next time with my sister and family from Pennsylvania.
