Big beautiful Villa. Very clean.. Awesome location. Both pools are right out your back door & the beach is a 2 minute walk away. A short 10 minute walk to Coligny Plaza, the Beach Market, and several excellent restaurants. The only negative is there was NO beach chairs or pot holders.

The location of this property was outstanding. Perfect view of the pool and out the back door and on the beach in 30 seconds. Really close to shops, restaurants and grocery. Small complex that was quiet. The cons of this property - the couches on the main living level are dilapidated. They need to be replaced. A really good deep clean and some touch-ups would make this location a 5 star rating. The condo must have been closed up for a while as it was musty smelling when we arrived. Once we opened up the sliders, all was better. Something to note that wasn't 100% clear in the description -- this condo is 3 levels. If you have anyone that has an issue with stairs, I do not recommend this unit. When you walk in, the laundry room and one bathroom are in the foyer. Go downstairs for a den and bedroom (this is also the access level for the patio & pool). From the foyer, go up 1 set of stairs for the kitchen and living area. From the kitchen, go up another set of stairs for 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Note, the downstairs bedroom & den worked well for having separation of families/generations. This was a plus. The guest that stayed in one of the upstairs bedrooms commented that the mattress was extra firm. Not their preference, but maybe okay for others. The kitchen was nicely equipped with what we needed to prepare meals. The picnic table and patio grill (charcoal) were a nice convenience. The deck/patio chair cushions could use a good cleaning (maybe keep them inside or stored when not in use).

Nice that it is gated, so little traffic. Close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. Loved having super close walk to the beach with small children and just steps from the pool! But this condo definitely needs to be updated. The bed in the lower level room had dead bugs under it and pillows were dirty looking. Upstairs bedrooms were cleaner. LR sofas are worn and Fridge is on its last legs. But great TVs in all the rooms and flooring was new in most of the condo. Overall it was a good place to stay for the week.

The place was reasonably clean but we were rushed out by the cleaning staff well before the 11am departure time when they showed up around 9:30/9:45am.
Overall we love this complex and with this unit you get a clean and adequate facility.
I just wish that certain guests would respect others enjoying the pool by taking their diapered babies to swim in the lovely kiddie pool available specifically for them.

I booked my vacation wrong, coming in on a Sunday rather than a Sunday.
When I arrived, they flatly told me I booked it wrong and never offered to help me find other place to stay. They basically said "sorry" and pushed me out of the line to help the next person.
They never got on their computer to see if anything else was available for one night.

We had an issue with the AC but it was fixed the same day. The only problem was, we had a Condo Association board member come up to us and say “you’re not in Myrtle Beach, you need to take your towels off the balcony or you will be fined”. He was a little harsh, could have asked nicely. We may not stay in this complex again, but definitely this area.

However... this was not a great year. Unit appeared cleaned, vacuumed, fresh linens when we arrived. Downstairs closet smelled like urine. Washing machine overflowed, saturated carpets in downstairs area. After that, the whole downstairs smelled bad for the rest of our stay. Toilet handle broke. Rental company was responsive, sent maintenance people, water abatement company quickly. Took a couple of days for the owner to decide to replace washer. Laundry room floor leaked a bit (where pipe comes out of floor) during very heavy rain. Beds and sofas, and wicker chairs from upstairs bedrooms, are pretty old and uncomfortable. Only six dining chairs available - we borrowed wicker chairs from the upstairs bedroom so we could all sit at meals. Overall location great, rental company responsive, but the unit wasn't in great shape.

Reviewer Comments: Who would have thought that 2016 Labor Day Weekend would have an unfriendly Hurricane named "Hermine" to a beautiful place like Hilton Head. But obviously "Hermine" decided not to stay @ and moved on out so that we could have a gorgeous weekend at the beach. And it was just wonderful! We have stayed at many different locations with 'Adventure Inn- Vacation Time of Hilton Head" for well over 20 years and we keep coming back and only wish could come more often. The staff are always professional, courteous and helpful. We now stay at Beach Villas as it fits our family needs and has everything from the pool, on the beach, and the best grass ever for the kids to play and chase the rabbits. Plus we have meet the nicest people while staying at Beach Villa. We will be back and highly recommend others to stay with Vacation Time of Hilton Head. If never been to Hilton Head would suggest you contact the friendly staff of VTHHI for great time on Hilton Head Island.

We did all agree that the carpet in the living room area needs to be replaced. The shower door in one of the bedrooms was inoperable and a shower curtain had been hastily put up for the guests. There is furniture, etc. outside the ground level door that needs to be hauled off. It's obviously not used any longer and is propped up against the condo. The grass in the pool area needs some work. We're used to the grounds being very well kept but this grass has progressed into a large patch of dirt. Last but not least, we were there a week and the entry gate was open at least 75% of the time including at night. We stay at Beach Villas for security and privacy. The gate need to be closed unless cars are coming in.

The place was able to accommodate our three children on the bottom level and provide enough space for a game room down there, while my wife and I were in one of the "master" bedrooms and my mother stayed in the other (both upstairs bedrooms have their own bathrooms and are each worthy of "master" status, which is nice). The wi-fi worked well, and we were able to really enjoy some football on the huge TV on the main level. It's a great place to stay if you have kids!
