Descripción breve: la casa de campo de los años 60 se arregló en 2015 con el nuevo sistema de climatización, televisores, electrodomésticos, camas y pisos, muy amigable para los perros / patio cercado, justo en la carretera de la playa, cerca de todo, 75 yardas al acceso a la playa, NO es un lugar tranquilo debido a tráfico por carretera playa! Cambio de sol a sol durante la temporada alta, mínimo 2 o 3 días durante la temporada baja.

SeaWitch es la casa de campo perfecta para aquellos que buscan una casa de campo clásica con comodidades modernas: nuevo aire acondicionado central, nuevos electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, sistema DVR Dish Network con televisor LCD de 65 ". Hay 3 dormitorios, la sala de "Amarillo" con una cama de matrimonio y 50 "Soporte de pared LCD TV con Dish Network y DVR, el" azul "reina habitación" Tempur "cama, y la" sala verde "tiene 2 gemelos. El baño tiene una ducha con azulejos nuevos con el aerosol de mano y baldosas de vidrio acentos, tocador estilo de gabinete, y un montón de ganchos para hacer el intercambio fácil. Hay un apartamento de la planta baja que se utiliza para el almacenamiento y no será alquilado. Ocasionalmente podemos pasar por sacar algo durante el día.
Al salir de la casa a su vez camino de entrada a la derecha para dirigirse hacia octava calle que se encuentra a 1 minutos a pie para dirigir el acceso del público en el (lado mar) izquierda y un paseo marítimo de la playa.
A poca distancia de muchos de los restaurantes de la carretera de la playa como en Kill Devil Grill, Red Drum, y un corto bicicleta para Tortugas. Todos "French Fry Callejón" comida rápida es un par de manzanas de distancia. Varias tiendas para ir de compras también están a poca distancia. Ben Franklin, Harris Teeter, Océano Atlántico Beach Rentals son sólo 2-3 minutos a pie. We loved the home and fenced in yard for our pups!

Place smells like dirty wet dogs. There are roaches in and around the kitchen. Expired food in the pantry. Linens were dirty.
Dog feces all over the yard.
The “storage” area on the lower level of the house, makes the house feel odd and shady… Needless to say, we will never stay in this property nor will we recommend it.

John and Dee were very communicative and answered our questions in a timely manner. This location is close to everything and minutes walk to the beach. Our pup loved the fenced in yard and being able to roam freely. We went during off season so it was a little chilly to stay at the beach too long, but there was so much else to do in the neighborhood!

My wife and I visit the OBX 3-4 times per year and have stayed in a lot of different rentals. This was one of our favorite places we've ever stayed. It's not necessarily the fanciest or most updated but the location is perfect, the place is clean and well stocked and the communication with the owner was excellent. We can't wait to go back and will be looking this property up first when we do go. Thank you!!

We loved our time at this classic OBX beach house. Walking distance to the beach and all kinds of great restaurants. I have been coming to the Outer Banks since the mid 90s and this was one of my best trips yet. Thanks to John and Dee for a great stay. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time. The house was just as it was described, Great locations . We were close to the beach and piers. My husband is a fisherman, so that was our goal. The house was clean and having the washer and dryer made our travel home so much nicer, knowing we did not have to go home and start on laundry. We even left a gift for the house, we bought a little stand sitter, with Mermaid's tears written on it. LOL

We had an anniversary trip for 2 couples. The kitchen was so well stocked, it made cooking a pleasure.
The dogs very much appreciated the large and well maintained yard.
It was perfect, we would stay here again for sure.

Had a great stay! Been coming to the OBX for 20 years and stayed in a variety of places. This was one of my favorites. Location is prime, scenes from all sides of the patio outside. Lots of character and well thought out layout. Was my sons first beach trip and we could not have been more pleased with the ease of access to the beach. House maid was able to get us in 2 hours early and texted letting me know it was ready to go! Very responsive for questions as well. WILL Stay here again.
Side note for owner. Hose outside on side was clipped by whoever mows the lawn. I had 5 gallon buckets and had access to water to clean sand off but just an FYI.

The property manager is very nice and takes pride in the house. Location is great (walk to restaurants) and they had everything you could think of in the house. I enjoyed sitting on the lounger chairs at night and people/car watching. Beach cart was very handy! I only saw one small bug, I see more at my own house.
Now the not so good. I live in a house built in 1927, I know old. But this house felt a bit neglected. Parts of the ceiling are cracking/peeling off, there’s exposed drywall in the hall. The dog blankets for couches smelled like, well, dog, and we’re thrown in a pile in the closet floor. I also think the house needs a deep clean every month or so. There’s a lot of deep dust, floors need a good mopping, dirty window sills and the patio is full of hair pet clumps and lots of sand under the covered area. The railings on the patio are quite loose and wobble. If I had really young kids I wouldn’t have let them out there.
I wish the backyard was in better shape. The stairs to the back had a lot of small trash and debris in the path. I didn’t feel safe having my kids go down there, and barely my dogs, had to pick up a lot of small trash (like metal shavings??) from the path. This wasn’t trash from litter. More like home things that were just strewn into the yard.
Not sure we’d go back, but kids had fun!

This property is just as described. This is our second time staying here with our 3 dogs. The beach access is right across the street, there are places to eat (Kill Devil Grill) and drink (Swellsa Brewing) less than a 5 minute walk, not to mention being in the middle of everything Kill Devil and Nags Head has to offer. The big fenced in back yard was a bonus and our dogs loved hanging out on the deck upstairs watching the people go by on the street below.

Not as advertised. Left same day we arrived, booked elsewhere for the week.
No mention of bugs/roaches when we booked last fall - BUT there were signs IN the house saying roaches were there & to call if you see little ones running around -- which we did!! Dozens & dozens of them. On counters, running across the floor, under the refrigerator. HORRIBLE. Just can't believe the attitude of the owner to act as if this is not an infestation -- it absolutely is!
These were not water bugs & there was not just ONE.
Also, it's now in the description that he didn't want to hear whining about ONE bug -- sir, it's NOT ONE.
They have cheap little traps out for roaches, which are dusty, so they've know for awhile that this place needs a total pest control overhaul to address the roaches -- not little traps from the store. You need the big guns.
We are not a pretentious family that needs perfection - but we do want clean & to not live in infestation & have bugs crawling into our groceries for the week. Completely a health hazard.
Be warned of the backyard, there's an opening at the back corner that we had to place a board in so our dog wouldn't escape, also another yard hole we had to cover so no one broke an ankle.
AC wasn't working well, as HVAC air filter was totally clogged & filthy. It had not been changed in probably a year (husband's professional opinion after 2 decades of servicing HVAC). We changed filter, worked then. But so gross!
Would not serve my dog from that kitchen!!

The house was exactly as described online! Very convenient backyard for our golden retriever. Family stayed next-door at the Marriott, and it worked out perfectly for everyone to get together.

Overall the location was great. Easy to get to and easy access to items on the main highway and beach. If you have two medium size dogs that are in crates to be in the same room, you have to move furniture to make it work. The FAQ sheets in kitchen were helpful. Backyard was great for the dogs to run around. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. If you want to watch TV during the day, you will need to close the blinds as the property is east to west for the sun.
Would stay here again as it checked off boxes for the property.

This older beach home had everything we wanted and needed. It was clean comfortable and cozy. We decided to cook in instead of eating out and the kitchen offered more than enough supplies for our feast. The beach access was right across the street and all the stores, shopping and some attractions were in close proximity It was a wonderful weekend from beginning to end. The property manager was extremely friendly and had the home ready for us hours in advance. We will definitely be looking foreward to another visit at the Sea Witch.

The backyard was perfect for our 5 frenchies. They enjoyed the sun on the big porch watching the people and cars go by. We walked to several places no problem. Just steps from the beach. There was a change of properties due to maintenance work on the original scheduled rental . However, the owner communicated regularly on the status and also had an alternate plan option at his other property just in case. Our stay at the alternate rental was fabulous. The rental was extremely clean and had every amenity imaginable. The fenced in yard was great for the pups. Property was close to all fine dining restaurants and shops. This was one of our.most memorable trips to the Outerbanks . Cannot thank the owner enough!

This property was PERFECT for our annual New Year's getaway to the outer banks. We've been taking a trip out there over this time period for over 20 years and this ranks up there with the best properties we've ever stayed in. The house location is awesome, very convenient to all of the things our family likes to do during this location and the restaurants we chose to go to. The kitchen was decently appointed (frying pans might need replacing, fyi) and having linens and towels was a big plus. The living room was comfortable for our family of four and two dogs - plenty of room to lounge and watch bowl games, and having a fenced in back yard to let the dogs out in order to do their business was extremely convenient. Having a washer and dryer available was also a big help and allowed us to pack very "light". The property manager was very nice, although we really didn't need anything or experience any issues - but when we did reach out to see if we could enter the property a little early, she responded almost immediately and was very sweet. This property is how I remember beach houses from my youth, before the McMansions were built with things like elevators and 18 bedrooms - it is very "vintage" and totally felt like a house you could actually live and relax in. We will definitely request to come back in the future... thanks for sharing this place with us so we could have some special "family time" with our quickly growing up children.

We had a nice week in Kill Devil Hills with our fur babies. The house is exactly as advertised, old-style beach house with fully fenced in backyard. The kitchen has all the needed appliances, dishes, utensils, etc. The beds are comfortable, HVAC keeps you that way. Beach access across the street, and restaurants, groceries, brewery all in walking distance (or very short drive). We’ll be back again to enjoy OBX with the puppies…thank you!

Perfect!!! Our son got married in the Outer Banks and our family was so thankful to be able to bring our dogs. The fenced in backyard is awesome. We would rent the property again for sure.

We stayed for a week's vacation. The location of this house is great, as there is so much to do, and this house is centrally located. We were provided wonderful instructions and directions. The check in was easy and hassle free. This house is well stocked, and we had all the cooking utensils and plates, glasses, etc. We did need to buy some paper towels and toilet paper, but there was plenty stocked to last a few days,
The house is very comfortable and inviting. We stayed with another couple and the layout provided us both privacy and communal areas. The kitchen and dining room were very adequate. Only thing was that there is only (1) bathroom. We did well with us (4) but if you also had a couple kids, it could be complicated.
We slept in the King bed, and let me tell you… it was very very comfortable. So much so that we may get the same bed ( as we are looking to upgrade from a queen to king anyway ). We did not sleep in the other beds, but understand the results were similar.
We had originally intended to bring our dog ( he could not make this trip ) however, the yard is huge, and the fences are good. Access to the yard was via a side kitchen door ( from the main floor ) or by a gate in front of the house.
You cannot see the Ocean, but you can see the dunes, and the sunrise is beautiful from the large comfortable porch. The porch offers a front and a side area, to catch the breeze depending on direction. The Side area has a nice wooden table and benches, where we ate many meals.
There was easy access to the beach, and plenty of beach toys ( we did not need them, but they were in good condition ). We made coffee every morning. The provided coffee maker is very good quality and easy to use. Then headed across the street to watch the Sunrise on the beach ( about 5 minutes from door to beach )
Kitchen:
Induction stovetop, my first time using one. It worked great with the provided pans. Plus there are cast iron skillets ( I do not believe they are used on induction?? ) that we used in the oven. Plenty of utensils, plates, etc. Never needed anything other than what was provided.
Living Room:
Spacious and comfy seats and couches, Plenty of room for 4-6 people to spread out.
Big TV with service ( only watched once, football and the picture was very good )
Bedrooms:
King bed was super comfortable and ceiling fans were nice to have.
Plenty of storage in the King room, lots of hooks to hang towels and such.
Bathroom:
Only (1) bathroom, there is
