We had a wonderful time at the house. The interior is beautiful and well appointed. The view is stunning and the yard is amazing for little ones and adults. Direct access to the lagoon and views of the sound and mountains. Best of all the property owner was extremely accommodating when we hit a snag in our ability to come to the property in a timely manner. We also had the gas go out on a Saturday night and she was out calling every company on the island to get us a refill, making it so the disruption was as minimal as possible. Highly recommend this property, and this coming from someone who has vacationed all over Whidbey!

We vacationed at this rental property in the middle of August. We have spent many summers on the island and pretty experienced renters. Beautiful views of the lagoon and access to paddle boardS and canoe amenities were great. The kitchen was well stocked and everything very clean. The host was quick to respond to any questions or concerns throughout our stay. We were a bit disappointed to find that there were no bikes to ride as listed in the ad- one of the main reasons we chose this house. There were a few aspects of the house that showed wear and tear, furniture was well used, toilet paper holder upstairs was hanging off the wall, windows were propped open with various items. There was screen missing from an upstairs window- so it could not be opened. Some doors upstairs wouldn’t latch shut. There were several chairs on the patio that were broken when we arrived and a canoe that had a leak. I would also Say that if you’re renting in the summer- don’t expect the lush green grass surrounding the property in the pics. It’s very natural- dead grass and weeds, but still a very pretty view. The patio also looks a lot more worn than in the pics. The planters and pots had been cut down to the soil so it makes it much more bare without the foliage. Lots of empty planter pots. The hot tub was lovely. We also enjoyed the disc golf out back. Remember to bring your own firewood as none is provided- wish we had known that- most rentals we’ve stayed in supply at least enough wood for the first night. Had to make an extra trip for firewood. The axe provided had the head broken off but the wood we bought was already precut so it was fine. The ad does mention occasional noise from the nearby airfield. PLEASE check online for the base’s flight schedule. This house is in a DIRECT flight path. And it’s not just one flight here and there- it’s every 15 minutes for HOURS!!! The planes fly so low, you can read the text/numbers written on their bellies. The first night it was relentless from check-in until 8:30pm. The 3rd night- it was from 4:30-10:30pm!! Earth shattering sound- you can’t hear the person talking next to you. Grown adults having to cover their ears it’s so loud... Sooo please check the schedule- I would try to avoid it at all costs- really put a damper on those particular evenings. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. With a house w high turnover- wear and tear is expected- some things just need a little attention to elevate the experience.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay on Whidbey Island. The Lagoon House surpassed all of our expectations. The house is just a quick drive from the Mukilteo ferry landing at Clinton and was easy to find It's situated on a large lot that borders a beautiful little lagoon and is surrounded by beautiful towering pine trees and is also beautifully landscaped. The house was spotless on arrival and beautifully appointed with lots of comfy leather couches, high quality electronics and sound system and cooks kitchen. The house is light and airy with a two story great room with floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the Lagoon and out to the Sound. It is spacious with ample room for our group of 10 to spread out. All of the bedrooms are nicely appointed with comfy beds and quality linens and towels. The kitchen was thoroughly equipped and fantastic to cook in and the outdoor grill/cooking area was a nice bonus. The outdoor space is the best part of the property. A large deck with table , fire pit, plenty of deck chairs and the hot tub all got a thorough workout from us. The large grounds were perfect for spending time outdoors and our dogs were so happy there. We were lucky enough to share the space with deer, rabbits and tons of birds including bald eagles, herons and many others. Sunsets over the sound were spectacular. It's an easy drive to access hiking trails, beautiful beaches, farmers market and the charming little town of Coupeville. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot for our getaway. Host was a breeze to work with. A truly five star experience. We would definitely highly recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future.

Lagoon House property beat all our expectations. Our stay was 4 nights in early Sept. The house was very spacious and had plenty of room for 6 adults. The lawn games and paddle boards on the lagoon were an added plus. The kitchen is fully equipped, laundry room supplied with detergents and cleaning products. The backyard is a beautiful setting on 2+ acres on a lagoon with plenty pine trees. We had a catered brunch for an After Wedding Party on Sunday for 20 family members. With the spacious indoor room and outdoor patio area this property was very comfortable for everyone. The fire pit area with furnished fire wood was much appreciated. It also added an extra nice seating space for guest. We loved every minute of our stay at Lagoon House.

Perfect location, the bay out your backdoor made it really fun for the kids, lots of paddle boarding and canoeing. Comfortable place and well stocked kitchen. Crabbing was fun just watch the tide when leaving the bay. Host was great at getting an issue with the hot tub fixed when it was not heating up. We communicated over text and she was super responsive. Overall great stay highly recommended.

What a beautiful, unique home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the large yard for the kids to run and play! Thank you for opening up your home to us!

My family and I stayed at the Lagoon House with 11 people total and two dogs. It was a little tight with 11 people, but we knew that going in. We were able to put a queen size air mattress in the master bedroom. The house and property were absolutely wonderful, and location is great on the island for both visiting north and south. The dogs did great at the house. The property is private enough that we were able to let them out without leashes. We enjoyed using the fire pit in the evenings and we used the hot tub once as well, which was kept clean and in good condition. Overall a fantastic weekend and my whole family wants to return someday!

I loved sitting outside watching the sunset! Stunning! So many deer and rabbits too. Very clean and lots of outdoor activities provided by the house.

My family couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our daughter's recent wedding at Crockett Farm. What a beautiful home and the surroundings were so peaceful which brought a level of calm to a rather busy weekend. Everything at the house was just as stated in the online description. The accommodations were great and the kitchen was well equipped. Loved the kayak and the paddle boards ~ they made for an extra fun adventure. The whole family enjoyed the house as much as we enjoyed the wedding! Thank you for sharing our home with us, Andrea.

We spent Thanksgiving here with extended family. There was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and have space. Every corner was perfectly clean and arranged to relax and feel peaceful. Incredible kitchen for Thanksgiving meal by many chefs. We've stayed in 10-12 properties on Whidbey over the last 10 years and this one was the nicest and best maintained. A lot of extra touches too. House owner was available before and during our stay for small questions very quickly.

We spent the month of July at Lagoon house, and in hindsight could have enjoyed spending the summer there. We have stayed at high end VRBO rentals throughout the world at locations including Tuscany, Portugal, the French Riviera and the Sonoma wine country. The Lagoon House ranks as one of our best experiences! The 2.5 acre property was a thrill for our two golden retrievers who romped endlessly across the property in the 55-75 degree July temperatures. We were able to keep a close eye on them because the property has a natural hedge fencing that borders two-thirds of the property. The back patio is large and provided relaxing evenings with wine and dinner outdoors for us and our guests against the stunning sunsets and views of the lagoon and Puget Sound. The house is nicely furnished with a kitchen that met our every need for some fun dinners. On top of all this, Andrea the owner was extremely responsive to our myriad of inquires about house and island details. Most of the time she responded within 15 minutes of our questions and requests. This is a wonderful house located midway down Whidbey Island that provided us great access to both the island and nearby sightseeing via ferries to various locations.

We had 10 family members staying here to celebrate the life of my 95 year old mother. We laid her to rest on June 9th and afterwards multiple family members came for a catered lunch. It was absolutely perfect setting and I want to thank Andrea for being the perfect host for a stressful time in my life. The kids had a great time taking the canoe out in the Lagoon. There was plenty of room also for them to play Frisbee Golf and Croquet. The grounds were so peaceful and brought so much joy to me. I would definitely go back here in a minute.

What an amazing trip! Everything was perfect for our needs... It had lots of nooks for reading, plenty of outdoor activities and games, a sprawling, beautifully maintained property, and wonderful evening views. I brought my crab license and two crab pots. Every high tide, we paddled outside of the cove and dropped pots and needless to say, we had fresh crab with every meal! The two little kids in our party never uttered the phrase, "I'm bored." We couldn't have had a better, more relaxing Labor Day weekend.

Upon arrival to the home we were a bit disappointed by the lack of care seen in the landscaping. The grass was filled with weeds and dead as can be. Upon entering the house the view seen through the large windows took our breath away! The downstairs master is amazing with a large vanity, separate bathroom and French doors out to the patio. The kitchen was large and well stocked with just about anything you could need. We selected this house due to the proximity to the water and the view. When we went out to the patio it was sad to see how much this area had been neglected. With what we were paying per night and the view the house offered, we assumed the outdoor living space would be welcoming and it was anything but. I had to take Lysol wipes and clean off the two tables out there that were really dirty and the granite slab next to the BBQ had stuck on food/sauce, I assume from a previous guest. I would not think I should have to clean a place that I am renting, but I did and then we were able to sit out and enjoy. A chair was broken, one was extremely worn and the hot tub looked like it had not been cleaned, so unfortunately we were not able to use it the three days we were there...bummer! There were visible cobwebs at the corners and top of some of the side tables and there were areas that looked like they had not been dusted in some time. We took a chance on a lagoon area and not knowing what access was like to the water and definitely no sand but just very thick mud. We even lost a shoe off of my son and we almost got stuck. It locks you in! We did enjoy some paddle boarding and a trip out in the canoe which was on the shore. Frisbee golf was available and horse shoes which was fun. All and all a good time and great views, but lack of care and any attention to the patio was just a shame!!

The setting of the house is picturesque, and the house itself is spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need for a long weekend. The owner is fantastic! Super helpful and responsive. We recently got married in Whidbey, and the Lagoon House was a perfect place to bring our family together and really feel away from it all. We will definitely return!

Nicely located in between Coupeville & Oak Harbor. Our teenagers loved using the paddle boards out in the protected cove. We saw eagles daily. The home is nicely furnished and in a quiet location, with lots of room. We would definitely stay at this place again ~
