We were three generations in the area visiting family. The Bunkhouse was right in the middle and where we wanted to be. LOVED the location. Quiet, except when artillery practice was happening…not long at all. Views were amazing and yellow flowers in bloom. My 15 year old was ready to move in! Brennan responded quickly to any communications. Overall, we would stay again!

The Bunkhouse was easy to find, and everything was clean, well stocked and easy to use. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch with our coffee in the morning and in the evening watching the kids chasing fireflies. There is lots of space indoors, tv had everything that we looked for. The management was really quick answering all of my questions. The only negative was that our stay was so short. Our adult children have texted us to say they wish they were still there, and the grandkids (9-11) had a ball. The beds were comfy, air conditioner ran very well, and the WiFi never caused a problem. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Our recent stay at the Bunckhouse was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by our host. The Bunckhouse itself was charming and cozy, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for our family getaway, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby attractions. We enjoyed spending time exploring the area during the day and returning to the Bunckhouse in the evenings to relax by the firepit. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We truly felt like valued guests throughout our time at the Bunckhouse.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we're already planning our next visit. If you're looking for a charming retreat with exceptional hospitality, look no further than the Bunckhouse. Highly recommended!

We love the bunkhouse! Our group had another great visit there. The only thing we have trouble with at this house is comfortable seating. We did enjoy the new recliner but wish the chairs around the table were more comfortable. We spend a lot of time around the table playing games and visiting. They also wanted me to let the owner know the couch has seen better days. But we absolutely LOVE the porch and
Yard. The view is incredible! Thanks for another great time!

Our little family loved "The Bunkhouse." It was in a beautiful location outside of Medicine Park. With beautiful mountain views of the Wichita mountains we had quick access to all of the adventures of Medicine Park. The cabin was nice and clean decorated in a western bunkhouse decor. We enjoyed the wildlife refuge, the aquarium, downtown Medicine Park and the kids loved swimming in Lake Lawtonka. We also enjoyed the beautiful wrap around porch late in the evenings. Great place to stay for awesome family time and we will definitely b back. Thank you so much for sharing "The Bunkhouse" with our family. Loved every minute of our short weekend visit.

While decidedly out of town, this property was just minutes away from everything! We truly enjoyed our evenings on the wrap-around porch, cooking in the spacious kitchen, and the beautiful views that surrounded us and nature that greeted us. We were delighted to have access to the washer and dryer; arriving home without suitcases full of laundry was a DREAM! The host was incredibly responsive to our questions and (minor) concerns. The beds were quite comfortable and the location quiet. Must see things nearby: hiking trails around Lake Lawtonka, historic Medicine Park, and the Comanchee Cultural Center. Lake Lawtonka's public beach access is quite rocky and we recommend water shoes.

This property was perfect for Family Day with my soldier. Less than 10 minutes from base and easy drive. The property was very clean, cozy and felt like home. We were able to spend the full day with our soldier in a very comfortable setting and cook his requested meals. This was SO much better then hanging out in a hotel room for the day. Love love love!

I rented this mini- ranch called "The Bunkhouse" for our familys stay for my Grandsons Army Graduation and Family Day. Since it was about13+ hour drive one-way from alabama We all decided to make it a vacation. My daughter Summer & I work in retail so we really needed a vacation. Everything at the "Bunkhouse Ranch Retreat" as our family calls it was above and beyond our expectations. Also Brannon is a great host. You can call him anytime for any questions. We saw horses and cows and longhorns coming up the Bunkhouse Drive. Just a 7 minute drive from Fort Sill for Family Day. We picked my Grandson up and brought him back to the Bunkhouse Ranch for the Day, up till evening. He loved it as well. Medicine Park Village(With Swimming) is only 4 minutes away and also beautiful Lake Lawtonka Beach is about 3 minutes away. We really enjoyed playing cards at night on the porch table. There's a great evening/night time breeze on the porch. The surrounding Wichita Mountains are breathing in beauty. Not kidding. Our family made some fantastic memories here. We really didn't want to leave and go home. We all wished we had at least another weeks stay . Everything is furnished. All you have to bring is yourself and your groceries. Also a Target and Walmart is close by in Lawton Oklahoma. I totally rate this a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Sonya Sawyer & Summer White & Family.

Perfect family cabin!
My family had a wonderful time at the Bunkhouse, my 3 and 6 year old loved petting the neighbor horses and donkeys, plenty of space for kids to safely run around and the wrap around porch is wonderful for catching sunrises and sunsets, every view around the cabin is so pretty. The cabin was very clean and truly felt like home while we stayed. The property is secluded yet very close drive to all the things to do and see around Medicine Park! We highly recommend the wildlife refuge, Holy City, and Small Mountain Street Tacos had the best tacos we have ever had!! We highly recommend the Bunkhouse for a relaxing family getaway!

The Bunkhouse was the perfect place to host our getaway. Nine friends made it home/base camp for our Wichita Mountains adventure. We could not have asked for better accommodations. Five stars all the way!

Everything about this property was excellent! Accommodations were clean and comfortable as well as have very cute decor. We loved the huge veranda with outdoor speakers! The location was great, being out on some property giving us our privacy while still being a very short drive to all of the attractions in the area. We have recommended it to several friends and will definitely be back ourselves!!

What a clean and beautiful property. It feels like you're in New Mexico with beautiful panoramic views on a quiet, peaceful plot of land with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It certainly feels like you're farther that 4 miles from town.

There was plenty of parking for our vehicles and boat.
We had to cut our stay short, but we will definitely be back.

Little gem!
Absolutely wonderful home. The only complaint anyone had was the beds in the bunk room and queen bed room were not real comfortable. Couldn't have slept on those mattresses more than 2 nights which was how long we stayed. But the views and home were amazing! Would definitely come back. Owner was great.

Excellent place to stay. It's out of town, but not isolated. Very clean. Lawn if very well kept. Everything you need is there. No need to bring pots, pans, plates, sheets, towels, etc. Nice grill, fire pit and porch. We'll book it again if we're ever in the neighborhood.

Great country getaway
We had an amazing time! The property was great! Kids had a great time running around and sleeping in the bunk beds.. It is a very short and easy drive to the Wichita Mountain Wildlife refuge.
