The property is in an amazing location nestled on a ridge over looking the ocean. The area was quiet and everyone we encountered was very nice and receptive. There is plenty to do in Aguadilla if you aren't looking to travel much while you visit. The owners were very nice and answered all the questions we had. You are just minutes from Crashboat beach. While we were at the beach we snorkled the pier and beach area. It was clean and the was enough sea life to see, but not too much that it would scare kids. The last few days we just rested and enjoyed the view from the verandah. And, what a GREAT view it has and it never got old. Thank you Rudy and family for a wonderful experience!!

Love staying at this condo. Beautiful, spacious and safe place to stay with the family. The pool is available every day. Less than 10 minutes to Crash Boat Beach and near to restaurants and shopping stores. Will be back again.

Puerta del Mar Condo
Note: There is no longer a convenient walking path to Crash Boat beach. The walk now is 1.7 miles from condo but the drive is < 5 minutes.

A third great stay
2/11 - 2/21 This was my third stay here. It was as pleasant as it was the past 2 years and I got to see the whales splashing in the ocean. I suggest you bring binoculars. Wonderful communication with the owner. I still highly recommend this apartment.

The view is absolutely breath taking
This was our first family trip to la Isla and we had an amazing time. Its was everything we expected and more! The apartment was very clean, smelled so pretty and the view was just breathe taking.

Much more than Expected.
What a lovely surprise with a convenient location. Great food options and Crash boat are minutes away. Property and pool was perfect. There was a bit of construction going on during our stay but really didn't impact us much. Restaurants to be sure to check out: Mona (great breakfast), El Meson (PR fast food), and Desecheo for dinner. Be sure to check out ZIPPOPS for dessert! Went back 3 times. Yes. Its that good. I will be renting this condo again!!!! Mr. Rios was a pleasure to deal with. He gets 10 stars!

This is an amazing property with all the amenities and terrific views of the infinity pool and ocean! This was my second time renting this specific property and is was as good this time around. The owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

I have stayed at this apartment 2 years in a row and I look forward to stay there again on my next visit. The apartment is very clean and organized. It has everything you need. The moment you get through the door you see the breathtaking view of the ocean. I love the security of the condo. Your parking space is right in front of the apartment. It has handicap access!!! The pools are clean and beautiful. There is an ice machine, bathrooms and tables by the pool. I enjoyed a cup of coffee in the morning, while sitting on the balcony looking at the horizon. The communication with the owner was fantastic. If you reach out to him, he will get back to you fast. I stayed with my husband and 3 children and we were very comfortable. An outstanding experience at a wonderful place !!
This property is indeed wonderful. It is extremely comfortable, well furnished and is equipped with all the amenities needed for a vacation. The ocean views and sunsets from the balcony are breathtaking. The condo complex is very tidy, safe with beautiful landscaping complementing the stunning ocean views. Rudy was always available by phone whenever we had a question. We would love to go again to this fabulous place !!

This has been a wonderful experience. The view from the apartment was amazing! The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay a comfortable one. The property is well maintained. The pool was very clean, very relaxing and the view was extraordinary.
About the owner:
He is very responsible and organized. We communicated via email. He replied fast to every question. Instructions on how to access the main gate and the apartment were very easy to follow. I can't wait to go back to PR and stay in this apartment again. I highly recommend this apartment.

It was absolutely breath taking..comfortable n felt like i was at home..
Pictures dont do it justice..the whole.place was beautiful and nicely set up.. the pool was great and the view was spectacular...the beds were comfortable. Playpen and toys available for our 1 year old. Everything is exactly they say..one morning woke up with no power emailed them and within a few minutes i received a call. Automatic door and gate key was definitely a plus. Will definitely love to stay again..if they have more places in different states and locations would definitely stay.. peaceful, comfortable and easy for families too..thank you

Security nightmare at puertas Del Mar Puerto Rico
The place is beautiful, the apartment is outstanding. Sadly the staff will be the reason I would not stay here again. Their rules are to the point of harassment, from the minute you arrive and continue throughout your stay. No music playing coming from your rental unit, no drinks by the pool, no music at the pool, mind you your On vacation. If you're a senior citizen and goes to bed at 7:PM. this is the place for you but if you're a parent and have teenagers or have kids this would not be the place to stay. On the other hand the owner was amazing and very responsive with everything and apologetic.

When we arrived to P.R we came in really late through Aguadilla airport. The condo is 10 min from the airport if that. Once we arrived it was everything I expected. We were very comfortable. There was a playpen so my 7 month old had a spot to be. My older sons slept great on the bunk beds. The pool was wonderful and the sunsets were amazing. Mr. Rios location is awesome and I have already been planning to return.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Puerta del Mar. The view of the ocean and pool was absolutely gorgeous and rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We will definitely return back next year.

Puerta Del Mar great location
We stayed in this unit in June 2016, our 3rd visit to Puerta Del Mar, first time in this unit
LOCATION of unit the entire development is beautiful but this unit is on 3rd floor which for entrance is ground level making it super easy if you have luggage but from the view in back it is elevated and above pool - didnt hear any noise but could send our kids down alone while we watched from balcony, and the views of crashboat are amazing.
The apt itself is large spacious and modern and the 2nd room has bunk beds with trundle so it can comfortably sleep 3 kids
We love crashboat beach can easily spend all day there and visiting other areas, like Rincon that are a bit more active with many beaches and restaurants and just a quick 20 minute drive away
there are flatscreens in bdrm and living room but very few channels and really no channels in english which is fine but with two boys it wouldve been nice to be able to put them in their room to relax with some cartoons before bedtime would just prepare with netflix or bringing movies if thats important to you.
And a thank you to the owner who reached out right away when we left our PASSPORTS in the apartment and fedexed them back for us.

Beautiful condo with great accommodations and a fantastic view!
This property is wonderful! Everything you could possibly need for a terrific vacation is provided. The decor is tasteful and very attractive. Little things like coolers, beach chairs, and beach towels are provided, the washer and dryer are another great feature. The keypad entry is fantastic - no keys to worry about and no way to lock yourself out! The security staff at the complex is very helpful (when my van got a flat tire they helped me a great deal!). All in all a wonderful property in a beautiful location! It makes the perfect vacation!

Puerto Del Mar Has been our vacation spot for 6 years. It's beautiful well maintained, great views. The weather is always perfect. If your lucky you will see a whale swim by.The only thing missing is a gym.

A Property Worth Staying At
My entire family along with grandchildren rented three units for the week between Xmas and New Years, so we had a true basis of comparison of units. This was one of the three properties and it was everything it was advertised to be on VRBO. The unit's owner was easy to work with and provided the keys and entrance codes timely. There were no issues with the unit. It was clean, well appointed and slept my son's family of three quite comfortably. The view from their balcony was most impressive at sunset! I would have NO hesitation in recommending this unit for a family looking to get away for a restful week. Good place to unwind!

My three sisters have previously stayed at Puerta del Mar for 8 years, always different units, but Rodolfo's unit is by far the nicest and most complete unit I've seen! Will definitely use it again!
