This is a wonderful home, with all of the amenities listed. It is just a short distance to the Beach Access. The house was clean and the property manager responds promptly if anything is needed. I would recommend this house and give it a 5 star rating.

Location was great and easy access to the beach. Checkin process was great too. One recommendation would be a full length mirror in the queen bedroom, the ladies had to do some maneuvering when getting ready. Overall description is spot on and manger and owners were very attentive.

We just spent our second Labor Day in a row at this home with our friends! The home is very clean, has an awesome screened in porch, and is only steps from the beach access. Although the home is a bit dated, it is in great shape and contains all the amenities you would want at the beach. The owners even added a new AC unit and fridge over the past year. Property manager Mary is great to communicate with and has always ensured we have what we need. Hope to book again next year!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely house so very much! Our favorite was the long screened front porch. Perfect for a morning cup of coffee or for relaxing at the end of the day. We had two suggestions for the future. One is for more large mugs for coffee... we could only find 2. The other is for another towel bar & a shelf in the upstairs bath. And perhaps a hook on the back of that bathroom door. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

We absolutely LOVED our stay. From the fresh chocolate chip cookies upon arrival to the layout of the house to all the necessary kitchen gadgets to make us feel at home. The location is perfect — close to the beach but not on the main road (since we have little children ). We also loved the people watching as this house sits at the beginning of Canal. There were plenty of chairs, a few household items to get us started until we reached the grocery, games for the kids/adults, the upstairs loft bedroom was great for our baby who went to sleep earlier, overall great areas to separate from others while also being under one roof. This was our first visit back in ten years and it was JUST what our souls needed! The hosts were friendly and attentive to any needs/questions. We love SB!!!

This home is just steps from the beach access! The home has lots of space and the screened in porch is great. The AC was a little weak, but that’s common for homes from that era and ended up being fine.

I don't have a single complaint about our time here. As soon as we opened the door, you could smell that the home had recently been cleaned. Everything was spotless. The location was perfect. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach, even with toddlers. We'll definitely be booking another stay at this location.

The location of the home to the beach is PERFECT! The kitchen is fully stocked and the home is decorated beautifully (my favorite place, so far!). We enjoyed the front screened porch in the morning with a cup of coffee! There is plenty of room for a large family, too. We will certainly be back!

We loved our stay in Sunset Beach! The property was exactly as described and even looks bigger once you get inside really. We had everything we needed and will definitely be back! The host was so sweet and even left us a plate of cookies when we arrived!

The property is just as advertised, and the pictures are accurate and up to date. There is plenty of room for 2 families of 4. The house is arranged in such a fashion that you don’t feel cramped as is the case with other houses in this price range. The master bedroom has a nice, large bathroom with a very large walk in closet. The other bedrooms are well appointed as well. The 4th bedroom is located on the 2nd floor with 2 twin bed beds that my children said had comfortable beds. Since this bedroom is located on the 2nd floor, the AC must work a little harder to keep with the demand of the Summertime temperatures, but it was not an issue for us and by 8:00 PM the room was cooled off and keeping up with the thermostat just fine. The outdoor shower is extremely large, and it has great water pressure making it one of the best outdoor showers I have used in a while. The house has a small gas grill and a medium size Weber charcoal grill. The gas grill is better suited for camping or tailgating rather than cooking a large dinner, but the charcoal grill met all our cooking needs for items such as hamburgers, hotdogs and steaks. The only negative thing about the location of this home is that it located directly at the intersection of 6th street and Canal Drive so it gets a lot of traffic funneling into the intersection from E. North Shore drive (the back way), but the large, front screened in porch with high top chairs made for a great spot for some people watching with an end of the day cocktail or morning coffee. The beach access ramp is directly across E. Main street and I would say that the ramp is more geared towards someone looking for a nice easy walk to the beach as I only counted about 9 total steps someone would have to navigate. The other access ramps we used to the East and West of this ramp had a lot of steps and elevation changes that would make it hard on someone with a disability to access the beach, but not impossible. I looked at many properties in this price range and I would say that 463 6th street was by far the best. I would rent this property again.

My family of five (3 teenagers) and sister and niece just thoroughly enjoyed our two-week stay at 436 6th. Most noteworthy? The spacious and comfortable living room (L couch), very long screened porch with numerous chairs to watch the world go by, superb master suite (best bed and bathroom I've had in a vacation home), long and comfy dining table and an exceptionally well equipped (albeit small compared to the rest of the house) kitchen. However, the pots, containers, knives, appliances and even utensils are all at a quality that's above most beach houses. Oh and did I mention that they also have the largest capacity washer and dryer too? Perfect for lots of beach towels! We loved this home and said numerous times, we wish we lived here... Thank you! PS. We have come to Sunset Beach for decades and we would rank this home as the best overall beach home we have stayed in (including oceanfront).

House is everything we needed and in a great location only two houses away from beach access. Screen porch was nice and would happily stay here again.

The property was absolutely stunning!!! Well decorated!! I got married on Sunset Beach and my family stayed in this lovely home!! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out!! The only complaint would be that only one channel would come in on the television. This was only an issue because my father's college team was playing on Saturday. :) There was a wonderful welcome basket from the owner and manager. If my family comes back to the area, I wouldn't hesitate to contact this property and book it. What a wonderful experience!!

We were looking for a place close to the beach so that my son and I could get some fishing done. The house is just 1/2 block away from access point, beach was just perfect. The house itself had plenty of room and we especially liked the outside shower to clean off the sand from the beach. My family had a great stay and would definitely rent again.

This house is even better than the photos! Everything is so well thought out- everywhere you look is gorgeous and yet feels cozy and homey. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need! The beds are SO comfortable. Everything was immaculately clean. We ended up having to evacuate because of a hurricane, but everything was handled SO well. There was excellent alerts and timely communication was sent. I highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay again when returning to Sunset Beach! Fantastic experience all around!

We stayed a week at this very nice house with my with our son and grandson ..very nice spacious and clean home with close proximity to the beach. Both the owner and property manager were very easy to deal with and communications were timely and thorough.. one of the nicest homes we have stayed in our 32 years of visiting Sunset Beach ... would highly recommend this home to others.. a great experience!! My family and I truly enjoyed ourselves. Mary was outstanding! We had a small issue finding the lock box and Mary came to our rescue right away. Communication was excellent and made the trip enjoyable. Our house was better than expected. We loved the location and would rent this home again.
