Beautiful cabin and beautiful lake. Places to eat nearby. Owners are very nice and really enjoyed being able to kayak the lake. So happy that they allowed us to bring our dog. Will definately come back again.

This was the perfect property for a relaxing family weekend! It's right on the lake with a private dock, a fire pit, and a deck to hang out and play games. My kids fished off the dock and caught a couple, the sunsets were beautiful and the mornings were so quiet and peaceful! Would definitely recommend.

The only complaint i had was website booking stated check-in was 4pm, check-out was 11am. Once got there, rental manual stated check-in was 2pm, check-out 10am. With that said, that sunset from that dock, was the most beautiful sunset i ever saw. Will be booking another stay for sure.

This cabin is new and has all the necessary modern amenities. We've rented multiple properties across northern Wisconsin over the years, and this cabin is one of the very nicest we've enjoyed. The refreshing lake breeze meant we never needed the air conditioning, but it's nice to know it's there if the weather is really hot. The long, tree-lined driveway means you rarely hear any traffic. The hosts are next door and readily available to answer any questions, yet there's enough distance between the properties for privacy. The rental process was seamless and problem-free. Phillips is a nice size town with a complete grocery store and other retailers so don't worry if you forget something -- you can find it in town, along with some great souvenirs and bargains. Check out the area farm markets for delicious bakery, produce, salsas, jams, etc. There are plenty of things to do and see in the area, or you can just hang out on the deck or dock and enjoy the sound of the waves lapping the shore. Highly recommended for rest and relaxation!

The cabin was perfect for our family. It was clean, nicely maintained, and had all the necessary amenities that you would expect. Jim met us on when we arrived and answered all of our questions about the cabin, lake, and surrounding area. We loved the fact that the lake was less than 100ft from the door. It was also nice to have a boat dock for our boat. The landing for launching was also less than a 1/4 mile from the cabin. Overall, it was a nice trip for our family and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet lake get away.

Yet another summer past time at this location only to be filled with memories created and shared on the lake. The gentle side of the Northwoods can be found here and it doesn't take much to take it all in and simply... relax. The owners of the property are wonderful and great with communication. Cheers to them for creating a wonderful experience!

Very nice cabin with "Up North decor". We enjoyed most of our time on the dock enjoying the view and the loons and deer. Very relaxing.

Our family loved our week stay at Westview Retreat! Cabin was even better in person than what the pictures show. Super cute and very clean! Swimming was perfect for our kids and our black lab! Loved being able to watch them swim from the deck! We brought our boat and went fishing and tubing. Caught a lot of fish! One of the best parts was watching the sunset every night from the deck! Beautiful spot! We can't wait to go back!

I would definitely come back to this place. The house was so close to the water made watching the sunsets absolutely beautiful. Loved hearing the loons and seeing the otters out in the lake. Deer walking around the property on a daily basis. We came up to just relax and we definitely did. If you didn’t feel like cooking there is a couple of restaurants/bar right down the road. Would definitely come back.

My family loved this cabin. The in-laws loved that it was next to the water so they could dock their boat and fish. The kids were so excited to swim in the lake. Our family vacation was very enjoyable.

We had an awesome weekend. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. Very satisfied with the current pricing, it made it very affordable for a birthday fishing weekend for our son. We’d love to come back again soon. Next time maybe with our dogs too!

Cabin is very nice and it is feet away from the water. Very easy to get a boat in and out and the kids had a blast fishing from the dock and taking the canoe out for quick trips. Great place to stay and Jim was great to work with.

Property was as listed. Unit well stocked. Good wifi and satellite connections. Unit very close to the lake so can even fish from the dock.

Clean well managed and good location for touring the lake by boat. Plenty of restaurants near by. Would recommend only 4-5 adults.....6 was 1 too many for sleeping arrangements. Will stay there again

First time my husband and I was at this cabin and definitely will be back! Very nice and a super good place to just relax! Lots of fun things to do around the area.

Nice getaway to recoup and enjoy the peace. The cabin is right on the water and is very welcoming. Jim and Carolyn are great hosts with great suggestions. We loved the small town atmosphere of Phillips and the surrounding towns.

We hope to be back next year!

We had the best time ever. Watched the sunset every night out on the pontoon. Took amazing pictures. Docked at the sandbar and our dog absolutely loved playing in the water. Had lots of fun fishing. Got to have our Friday fish fry from the fish we caught ourselves. The cabin war absolutely adorable. Lots of personal touches. Very well cared for. We enjoyed it so much we are coming back next year even though we usually only go up North every other year. Highly recommend this cabin. Thank you Jim & Carolyn
