I have been using VRBO for over 17 years to plan countless vacations. I would rate this property in the top 2 of any we have reserved. The hosts have thought of everything you might need to enjoy your stay. The house was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and the amenities were generous. As busy as the roads on Cape Cod can get, we felt the location was ideal. We had several different family members staying in places around Falmouth, but usually ended up at "our" house, as it lent itself to family gatherings; plenty of dishes, pots/pans, condiments, etc. We enjoyed coffee on the lovely patio every morning and wine and cigars out there in the evenings. The beds were comfortable, the linens were plush, the towels were plentiful. It was great having a washer and dryer. I always worry about odors in a house as that is one thing you can't see in pictures. This house was odor-free - no smoke, no mold/mildew, no funky "old house" smells. The unique bathroom upstairs worked out well for us. Backing out of the driveway required paying close attention due to the lay of the land (curve in the road and small rise nearby making visibility a challenge), but overall was not a problem. The listing is very accurate. Highly recommended!

The home is in a convenient location, thoughtfully and we’ll appointed and the owners were a pleasure to communicate and immensely helpful/quick to respond. Falmouth beaches can’t be beat and easy trip to MV from this location!

We had a wonderful stay in the house. We had three adults, and two kids (one who naps and one who is always loud), and there was plenty of room to spread out. The house was clean, and location was very convenient. We will definitely want to come back!

Beautiful house in north Falmouth. I went to the house with my two adult sons and my daughter. We had a very nice time and the house was fully equipped with anything and everything you might need for a beach vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked and we loved getting fresh muffins at the local general store. Hoping on the bike path was a treat. And old silver was a quick ride away.

The property was pristine! Very well appointed and had everything we needed for our week long stay. My children are good listeners and were respectful of the house rules. The house is centrally located to easily access all that Falmouth has to offer. The owners were responsive when we did need something!

This house is excellent, do not hesitate to book it! It was very clean in every room. We brought our own sheets but then saw theirs were perfectly clean so just used those. There are window AC units in each bedroom and the kitchen, which cooled those areas down well. Owner Bob was super nice and easy. We had zero issues with the house and enjoyed it so much, we were sad to leave! One thing not seen in the pics is the outdoor shower, but note that is not enclosed on all 4 sides. It is open on two sides. This is fine for a pre-hottub rinse when wearing a swim suit, which is how we used it. The upstairs bathroom is as described and perfectly clean. I do think it may be hard/awkward to share this bathroom with non-family as you do sort of pass each other in the bathroom. We were all family so it was fine. The hot tub is very clean and a big hit, it gives you something to "do" when home during down time. Overall, I most highly recommend this house, you won't be disappointed!

The house was beautiful and the layout and functionality was perfect. You will not be disappointed staying here. The location to the beaches and the bike trail made everything simple. We will be building an outdoor shower at our home ASAP after staying here. The house and kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could imagine needing. The McCabes’ home is lovely and well appointed. Beautiful decor, very classisms Cape Cod. A great kitchen for those who love to cook! Having the general store next door is so convenient and bike path and beaches nearby are all pluses. Our family stayed here in 2017 and we felt great about returning for another stay!

We simply can't get enough of this house/area. I hate staying in the same area two years in a row for vacation as I typically like to try new things. However, this house is in such great condition, in a wonderful location, and the owners are so unbelievably hospitable that we had to come back. We did NOT regret it at all. The house has everything you would ever need for a vacation, and there is a strong possibility we'll be back for the third year! Thanks Bob and Susan!

We had an amazing vacation in Cape Cod. The owners were very easy to work with and communicated quickly. We enjoyed their recommendation of Epic Oyster! Food was amazing! We can’t wait to go back to Martha’s Vineyard and hopefully check out Nantucket. We loved the location of the house. We read that it could be difficult backing out of the driveway but we had no issues. I would definitely recommend this house to others!

We rented this house for a week in July and throughout communication with Robert and Susan was great. The property was clean and very well appointed. A true home from home with a few extras included. There were some minor issues with a door lock and the hot tub but again communication with the owners was first class. Great house in a good location. We’d certainly recommend!

My wife and four adult children had a great time at the Wild Harbor House. The house had plenty of room for our entire family. My boys loved the music room with the two piano's. We played tennis and basketball at the nearby park, went bike riding on the bike path, played mini-golf and went on a couple trips to the beach. The house was beautiful. The basement with the big TV was perfect for the kids to hangout. Also made use of the grill and outdoor seating area. We were a bit disappointed that the Jacuzzi wasn't working, although Bob was very responsive he couldn't get it to work. Overall we were very pleased with the house and would highly recommend it for a great Cape vacation. Joe and Kathy

If I had only one word to describe this property, it would be WOW! My family and I were so comfortable staying in Bob & Susan’s home, it really felt like... HOME! The property is well appointed, including new linens and towels, the kitchen is amazing with up to date appliances along with plentiful, beautiful dishes and gadgets...anything you will need! I highly recommend Wild Harbor if you are planning a trip to Cape Cod.

It was very clean and the finished basement was wonderful to watch the tennis and football games. The hot tub was used only a couple of times by my husband, however, he loved it. I stayed at this house with a group of four other friends over Labor Day weekend and we all had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the hot tub, cooking in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, and walking to the nearby beach (stopping for ice cream on the way back). We especially appreciated that the owners were responsive and helped us out whenever we had a question. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

My parents, sister, husband, and I (plus my 15-month-old) stayed here for our first vacation all together, and I couldn't have imagined a better house. We walked into a clean, cool, homey space, equipped with all the details to make for an EASY vacation. We'd heard warnings about many Cape rentals ("Bring hand soap, paper towels, a big salad bowl, etc., because these places don't have those.") Not at all the case here. The kitchen was equipped with all possible utensils and cooking gear, even tupperware to take to the beach. The bedrooms were comfortable and luxurious -- literally the best sleep I've had in a long time! The upstairs bathroom, with two separate toilet/shower stalls, were the perfect amenity. (Seriously, I want this in my own home!!) And, the LOCATION! A 30-second walk to the General Store, where we enjoyed their morning coffee and lunchtime sandwiches. 8-minute walk to an amazing ice cream place and some other restaurants. 3-minute drive to the closest beach, and 15-minute drive from other popular beaches. Not to mention being so close to the bike trail. The street is a little busy, but not noisy. Bob and Susan surely made sure all the little details were covered. They were such gracious hosts, and we only wish we had an extra week to stay and enjoy the house longer! Thank you, Bob and Susan!

I will start by saying my wife and I are fairly picky people when it comes to vacation houses, and this house (and its owners) absolutely lived up to its hype. I'll list a few pros and cons which will hopefully help you make a good decision when you're thinking about this property. Pros - Location! - Perfectly situated near two convenience stores (one next door...) Right near the bike trail. 4 minute drive to the beach, and walking distance to a local ice cream place. House Condition - The house is meticulous. Bob and Susan take extreme care of the place, and we were blown away by how clean and organized the place was. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with anything you could need, and there is a BBQ and very clean and well maintained hot-tub in the backyard. Music Room - This is my absolutely favorite perk. (I am a musician, so sorry to say I'm a little biased...) There is a room with two pianos, (one upright, and one baby grand) and percussion instruments. We had plenty of jam sessions, and I got to sit and play piano when we had a little bit of down time. Owners - Bob and Susan were wonderful. Bob helped us with parking and getting through Woods Hole on our trip to Martha's Vineyard, and Susan helped us with beach parking. Both were so nice to talk to on the phone, and they even left a bottle of wine on the counter when we arrived! Upstairs - The upstairs is excellent for multi-families sharing the house as there are three bedrooms, and TWO showers with two sinks. So we were able to shower both boys at the same time without any fighting! What a bonus. Cons - (Seriously, there were so few cons, I hate to even mention them...) Master bedroom - The Master bedroom had some humidity issues and so it smelled very musty. I adjusted the AC unit to try and accommodate for this, but it was either way too cold or too warm. Definitely not a deal-breaker by ANY means, but figured it should be mentioned. The cable box also did not work in the bedroom, but we were so tired that this was irrelevant. Driveway - The house is on somewhat of a main street, so backing up felt a little rushed because cars were sometimes flying by during the day. Again, not a big problem, but just something to be aware of. Otherwise, this vacation was wonderful. We very rarely consider staying in the same place two years in a row, but since we were so pleased with this house, we will definitely consider it for our Cape vacation next year!

Beautiful home with all the amenities. Very comfortable. Great location for beach, biking or general site seeing. General Store practically next door offering a deli, freshed baked pastries and awesome iced coffee. Kitchen is equipped with all the pots and pans needed for meal prep. Everything you need to go to the beach also provided. Amazing bathroom upstairs with two showers and two toilets. Perfect for family gathering.

This house was in a great location - close to bike trails, beaches, shopping, etc. The large kitchen, bedrooms and main bath were also very accommodating for our family of 5. The few negatives were that we had some issues with the wifi in the house and a few appliances that weren't working. The air conditioners were also very loud. Minor problems, we would definitely book here again.

Enjoyed the bike path and proximity to Old Silver Beach. Kitchen was well equipped and beautiful. beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and functional.

"There's no place like home"........um, actually there is. It is the Wild Harbor House in North Falmouth. This home was possibly the best VRBO establishment our family has ever experienced. We were attending a family reunion that was taking place at a hotel nearby, but the whole family kept thanking me for finding this house. We could ride bicycles to all the reunion events, or run or ride the trail that is a 5 minute walk away. After all that exercise we could walk to the corner and eat bang on wicked good clam chowda and Portuguese muffins at the Wild Harbor General Store. The McCabes have thought of everything that every travelling family might need. Imagine a full-sized Kitchenaid mixer gleaming in the kitchen sunlight, a piano room( yes, a piano room with 2 pianos and assorted accompaniment instruments) just begging for a jam session, or a washer and dryer keeping everything fresh and ready. Yes, please. The house is beautifully designed and appointed. Rooms are light and airy and beds and couches are comfortable, antiques are exquisite. The kitchen is equipped with enough dishes, utensils, appliances and other accoutrements to prepare a meal for twenty. Luckily, I did not have to, but nice to know you can. Markets and restaurants are close by, you can walk to the beach or enjoy the lovely hot tub right on the back patio. I wish my house was this wonderful. My only regret? That we could not stay longer. Or forever.

Thanks so much for letting us rent your home! We were in town for my Aunt's 60th birthday and it was perfect! Location was close to everywhere we needed to be the entire weekend and just under a mile from our family. Wonderful stay!

This house is amazing! The kitchen is so well stocked, everything you need to cook some gourmet meals! The hot tub was wonderful and the outdoor seating area and gas grill was great. It is in a perfect location, close to everything. This was our first visit to cape cod and we enjoyed everything about it! Old silver beach is beautiful and it was so nice to grab the beach chairs out of the shed to take with us. I think bob and Susan thought of everything. Thank you!

We had a very good time in this house. We have been there with five persons an everything was great. All furnishings and equipment are estethically and funktional. The house has everything you need. We would like to go to this Spezial place anytime again.

Susan and Bob McCabe's lovely home in North Falmouth would please the most discerning of guests! It is elegant yet cozy and well-appointed with any amenities a family might need especially for those who love to cook! We have stayed at a number of beach homes and none has come close to the level of thoughtful preparation and generosity they provide. Our family of 4 adults and a toddler had a grand time even though the weather gave us only 2 beach days. We were happy as Cape Cod clams just the same! Thanks for the memories!

The Wild Harbor House was amazing!! I can't say enough great things. Susan was available to answer any questions I had leading up to our stay. The house was immaculate and the pictures do not do it justice. There was more than enough space for 6 adults and one baby. We loved the outdoor space and spent most of our time outside. We made use of the outdoor fire pit and set up a baby pool in the yard for our 11 month old. The house is perfectly located in North Falmouth Village and in walking distance to the Wild Harbor General Store (great deli), Holy Cow Ice Cream shop (amazing waffle cones), Bucatino Italian Restaurant, and the Falmouth Bike Trail. Thank you Bob and Susan for everything!! We hope to be able to come back!!

We had a truly perfect week in Falmouth. The house is absolutely lovely and so well equipped. Very few rental properties are so generous to make sure that pretty much everything is provided, particularly in the kitchen which has every utensil and cooking staple you could want. Susan was even kind enough to find a cot and high chair for our 10 month old baby which was so helpful. The house is beautifully done up and feels much more welcoming than anywhere which we have rented before. The hot tub was also a really popular feature. It is also in an ideal location for making the most of the lovely cycle path and beaches (the bike hire was just around the corner). We cooked dinner on the BBQ and sat outside every night. All in all, a really lovely place for a family holiday. Would love to come back.
