Beautiful 1 Bedroom Apartment minutes to SFO in Victorian Home (Can sleep 4)
Nuestra casa victoriana de 2 unidades y fue construida en 1906. La unidad inferior es un apartamento completamente separado de 1 habitación. Hemos realizado un trabajo extenso en el hogar y la tierra. Es un lote de doble tamaño, por lo que la mitad de la tierra está ajardinada con cascada y estanque con peces, más de 15 variedades de plantas hawaianas y polinesias y un amplio patio. Tenga en cuenta que debido a la grave sequía, hemos dejado de regar el césped. Es una casa de 2 unidades, vivimos arriba y Halekipa (la casa de huéspedes) está en el primer nivel. Nuestro apartamento de 1 habitación cuenta con pisos de madera de bambú, alfombra en la habitación, lavadora y secadora estándar en la unidad, electrodomésticos renovados, cama queen size y sofá cama en la sala de estar. Puede caber 4. También hay almohadas, mantas, sábanas y toallas adicionales para usted. También tenemos algunas cosas para niños (sacos de dormir para niños y niñas y algunos juegos ... aún añadiendo a esto. La casa está equipada con WIFI de alta velocidad y TV por cable. (Asombrado) también. Esta propiedad también se conoce como el Centro Cultural Hawaiano Kaululehua. Notarás un estudio de baile y una biblioteca en la tierra también. Una vez a la semana hay clases (baile) y una vez al mes clases de artes / manualidades culturales (tejido y fabricación de lei). ¡Nuestra casa recibió el premio de Embellecimiento para el sur de San Francisco en 2011 por la casa más hermosa del sur de San Francisco!
Estamos ubicados en el centro de South San Francisco (SSF), todos los restaurantes están a poca distancia (Starbucks, Pete’s, Subway, varios chinos y mexicanos, tailandeses, vietnamitas, coreanos, italianos, argentinos, estadounidenses, japoneses y más). Hay algunas tiendas de comestibles, licores y farmacias a una cuadra. Algunos de nuestros restaurantes favoritos: Para el desayuno - Cable Car Café (nada lujoso, solo un desayuno rápido y bueno), Para el almuerzo - La Morena (mejor al pastor nachos, tacos y platos), Para la cena - Izanami (excelentes especiales, nuevos y buen ambiente. Si nunca ha tenido los dulces de See, la fábrica está al final de la calle, es posible que desee comprar muestras ;-)

El centro de San Francisco está a unos 15 minutos en coche. ¡Además de San Francisco, debe hacer un tiempo para explorar nuestra costa, especialmente el centro de Pacifica, y navegar por la famosa autopista 1 para visitar el centro de Half Moon Bay!

This was my first time booking a vacation through vrbo and i regret it.
I am not sure how the property can be listed as an A with cleanliness when we found dirty towels, toilet paper missing on day 1 upon arrival, toilet broken down next morning and we couldnt flush it and hours later i get the message it is fixed. The lock wasnt working, my kids were out at 9.30 in th night where the code wasnt workng and the owner didnt even pick our phone or answered our text despite being there ( he answered the helper person but not a tired mom with tired kids in the night).
Please dont trust the reviews- they are all made up. The lake has dirty green water, not even circlauting or being changed and the window seal has insects trapped in it. Please make fun memories elsewhere and dont make the mistake I did.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was clean, well stocked with basics like coffee and more that helped a great deal. The hosts were very gracious and responsive to any requests or queries we made during our stay. We would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy apartment and appreciated the cold water bottles waiting in the refrigerator and the coffee. The little bowl of snacks and bottle of wine were a nice touch, too, although we didn’t indulge.
The gardens are lovely and the place is tucked in by the gardens.
The week we stayed there was construction across the street during the weekdays so it was a bit loud at times. We came and went during the day so it didn’t bother us much. One the night there was a metal plate or something on the road that banged loudly every time a car drove over it.
We couldn’t get the TV to work, seemed like the cable wasn’t hooked up. Only one night when we wanted to watch TV so not a big deal. The low flush toilet was a bit frustrating but it worked.
Found two great places to eat close by for breakfast and Italian dinner. Very convenient and easy to drive to places in San Francisco. The parking spot was heaven as parking can be a challenge around town.

This place is great.
The location is excellent. Short walk to Sign Hill, a great morning hike with even better views. Downtown restaurants are just on the other side of the block in front of the house. We walked to get breakfast and lunch several times. Super easy access to 101,280, and the Airport. Just down the road from El Camino Real. Supermarkets and shops are a very short drive away.
The yard is very inviting. We had local friends over for a morning brunch and enjoyed it in the garden. Lots of seating options with great shade.
This place is also very well stocked. We wanted for nothing. There was even a bottle of wine welcoming us for our stay.

Wonderful experience staying here. The unit was equipped with everything one could possibly need. The hosts even provided a nice bottle of wine and a basket of fruit upon checking in. The location is very walkable to stores, coffee houses and restaurants and I felt safe. The included parking space is a huge asset.
I arrived as a tenant and I left as a family member.

The neighborhood is so cute and has lots of dining options within walking distance. A “bodega” , a great sandwich shop, liquor store, cafe for breakfast , options for dinner, really covers it all. If you want more elegant dining in the city it’s not too far at all.
The apt is terrific. We had 2 adults for a few days and 3 for one night. We were all able to have our own bed ! One in the bedroom which has the picket doors for privacy, one on the sleeper sofa ( which is a bit short. So we put the sleep mat on top and it worked out perfectly ) the other had the air bed which was conveniently stored in the closet. ) We slept comfortably and then deflated the air bed and had plenty of room to eat at the dining table, make coffee, etc. It’s a very well appointed space with really everything you need. Coffee maker , French press, full size fridge, stover. Really awesome.
The outside garden is lovely !!! You have full access to the whole space. Sit at the table, or on the love seat w your feet up, enjoy your coffee or cocktails. It was a really nice bonus to have outdoor space to enjoy.

My spouse and I enjoyed staying in Kawika’s spacious and very clean one bedroom apartment. It had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen and in-unit laundry machines. Location is very convenient to retail and to freeways. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and we appreciated the detailed check-in instructions and photos. Highly recommend!

I stayed for 5 days for a work trip and just slept, showered, and made coffee at the apartment. Everything worked as expected. I really appreciated that there was already coffee, filters, and sugar available so I didn't need to run out and buy anything. The hosts were easy to get in touch with. The Apartment was bright and comfortable and quiet. The neighborhood is very walkable with great restaurants and the train station nearby. My only minor suggestion is that it would've been nice to have an empty chest of drawers to unpack my clothes into during my trip.

Alley parking spot was a bit tricky but much appreciated. Carpets, floors, and behind furniture could use a good cleaning. Great amenities in the kitchen, was helpful to be able to prepare meals on site. Excellent communication from owners!

Quick visit to experience San Francisco
The apartment was very comfortable with excellent amenities for any type of visit. On site parking was a great feature. Once we figured out how to access bus or free shuttle to BART we were able to get into the city in about 45 minutes. We were able to visit many highlights of the city. The home owners were very accommodating and since we arrived during “Indian Summer” we also enjoyed the beautiful yard!! Bottled water, snacks and wine were a wonderful treat after a long day of travel detours due to fires. The neighborhood was fun, with lots of ethnic restaurants within walking distance. Perfect place to stay for our trip!

The place had everything well stocked all the way down to a few snacks, sanitizers, masks, shampoos, etc. We had some questions for the Owner during our stay and the contact information was readily available on the frig. Nice room

Home away from home
This is our second stay at the property. We enjoyed the experience so much in 2019, that we were thrilled to see availability for 2021. The location in South San Francisco is perfect. We were able to get into the City in about 18 minutes. So, we had the best of both worlds: easy access to the City, and a peaceful, beautifully appointed place to rest.
The garden is outstanding, and we enjoyed having meals outside. Coffee and a french press made for a perfect cup of coffee, and the bottle of "welcome" wine was much appreciated. The washer and dryer meant we could pack light, and keep up with our need for fresh clothes!
This is our home away from home for our San Francisco stays...Highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay here. The home was easy to find, check-in was simple. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very quiet at night. We walked to the little downtown a block away and it was disappointing to see that mask adherence was about 50%. But that doesn't detract at all from the home itself.

Quiet property in good location.
The apartment met our needs for a 'medical vacation'. Easy access to freeways and UCSF Mission Bay facility. Convenient local eateries. The apartment met all our needs with a comfortable queen size bed, washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen. The internet was fast and reliable. For us as an elderly couple, the living room sofa/bed was uncomfortable to sit on. Overall, it was a great peaceful place to return to each afternoon.

Hidden gem in South SanFrancisco:)
I cannot say enough good things about this quaint, cozy spot a bit south of SF. My husband, 18 year old son and I stayed here for 4 nights while in town visiting the Bay Area. Our hosts were amazing, the place was spotless and all the small touches were thought of....from coffee, snacks, wine, cozy blankets and extra pillows. You will NOT regret booking this place......the beautiful outside garden with its lovely plants native to Hawaii.....were just perfect. We loved relaxing in the outside area with coffee and the morning and having evening cocktails.....we WILL be back and have already recommended this spot to our friends. Thank you, thank you to our wonderful hosts...Cheers!

A bit of Hawai’i heaven in South San Francisco
When I looked out the windows it reminded me of living in Hawai’i.
We totally enjoyed our stay in this hale. It has everything one needs - kitchen, laundry and comfortable bed. Also coffee, spices and pot, pans and utensils needed to cook. Although no need to cook because there are numerous restaurants nearby - Buon Guito and Thai Satay are two restaurants we enjoyed.
Kawika responded to our questions quickly - when we were chilly he sent over another heater.
It is in a location that makes travel easy to the airport or San Francisco - take BART to The City, then the ferry to Sausalito.
We totally enjoyed our stay and want to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the beautiful garden

Great location if you don’t have a car
Within walking distance are a well stocked produce market, coffee shops and restaurants. There is a free weekday shuttle that can take you across town to the BART, station, Trader Joe’s, and Starbucks. The Caltrain station is a short walk away; you have to Go up and down a staircase and cross the highway, but there is a crosswalk and a traffic light. The city has plans to make this area more pedestrian friendly, but the construction may take some time.
The studio itself is very cozy, quiet, and well supplied with everything you need. We did not see our hosts, but that was not a problem, because all the directions are very clear and easy to follow. We would definitely stay here again.

A magical space.
What a magical space with such a beautiful energy. We were over to visit for a week and couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The apartment was just lovely, so homely, we enjoyed many nights in with a pick up from the nearby restaurants. We particularly liked the Italian restaurant " Di Napoli". And the garden - what can I say, we just fell in love with it! Many thanks to Kawika, Kiaì and Mo. We will definitely be back.
