Esta hermosa casa está a 150 yardas de los ascensores y la plaza - Purgatory Resort (anteriormente Durango Mountain Resort)
Nuestra casa independiente tiene vistas espectaculares a su alrededor.
La terraza o el balcón es un gran lugar para relajarse y disfrutar de las vistas o incluso de la vida salvaje con su familia y amigos.
En invierno, los caballos que tiran de los trineos pasan por la casa y bajan al complejo.
Casa Balcón cuenta con 3 habitaciones con camas queen size.
El dormitorio principal es enorme con su propio baño y un amplio vestidor. Se encuentra en el piso principal.
También en la planta principal se encuentra la espaciosa cocina de concepto abierto, comedor y salas de estar. El balcón está fuera de la sala de estar y hay una barbacoa de gas.
También hay un baño de visitas ubicado junto a la cocina.
Las 2 habitaciones de invitados se encuentran en el piso de entrada. Hay un baño completo en este piso, habitación familiar con un bar y excelentes vistas, chimenea de gas y TV. Este piso también conduce al garaje climatizado.
El piso superior es un loft muy grande con 2 futones y un televisor, ideal para jugar videojuegos y dormir extra.

The house was very spacious, clean and close to skiing. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time staying at this location. The location is idea for quick access to the slopes! Having a garage was idea for storing items and a vehicle or two. This home has a nice small covered porch- perfect for the kiddos to have lunch or a hot cocoa between bouts of playing in the snow. Very nice stay.

The house was perfect. Close enough to the lifts to walk and big enough for 10 college kids to stay comfortably. Big garage to park a car as well. Overall a great vacation!

Upon arrival found that the internet was not hooked up. The dryer did not work properly and the laundry detergent pods were melted together from the heat. The recliner seat did not recline, the windows were filthy,the window would rollout however the crank for most of the windows was missing so we had to rotate them from one window to the next, 3 of the screens were laying on the outside lawn,the end tables and TV stand had not been dusted, the stove only had 2 burners that worked, the grill did not have any propane and the burner covers were completely dissolved. There was a BB hole in the upstairs bathroom over the toilet, There were very few pans to cook with, the downstairs bar area sink faucet only drizzled out and the pantry floor when you opened the door had food crumbs on the carpet. There were no paper plates, napkins or baggies to take yoour food home. The garbage cans after you took out the liner were disgusting, the remotes on the upstairs TV did not work and 1 of the bathrroms had no shampoo. This was supposed to be a great family get together however the accomodations were awaful. I would not reccomend this venue to anyone. I did speak with the owner on several occassions however there was never any responsibilty taken.

The house was nice and clean, except for the kitchen was dirty, all dishes had a flim on them, the dishwasher was dirty, all the shelves for pots and pans dirty. 2 of the beds had sheets that did not fit. The house is very spacious just needs some updating. The couches were flat and hard, used the grill outside but it was also dirty very old.

This is a very large home with plenty of room to spread out. The view from the balcony is wonderful. The owner is very responsive and made for an easy check in and check out.

Great place to stay for a family wedding
We rented this home to attend a wedding in Silverton. The location was great- about 1/2 way between Durango and Silverton. The space was exactly what we needed and was well represented on the listing. House is a little on the older side but was clean and well equipped. The owner was very responsive to questions and concerns.

Beautiful location!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Purgatory at this house. The location was perfect and and the views were beautiful. The house is close enough to Durango and very close to the Million Dollar Highway. The house slept 10 as mentioned (5 beds) but plenty of space to spread out. It was the perfect size for our group!

Great house, but isn't kept up
Beautiful house, but not kept up. Booked for almost 1 week vacation with family. Disappointed that house was not the impressive experience that we expected. House was stocked with the very cheapest items, it was dirty and had multiple broken items throughout the house. We expected a different experience given premier host rating and price. I organized the vacation and was embarrassed that I chose such a poor option, especially for such an expensive price.

Master shower and toilet extremely dirty
Dishes dirty
Coffee pot handle broken
Silverware dirty and old
Lamp shades dirty and broken
Windows and floors dirty
Kitchen faucet white, cloudy water and only works turning 1 way
Sprayer broken in kitchen

Burned out light bulbs in main bathroom
Dirty toilet in master bath
No throw blankets
TV remote missing cover
Dirty carpets with stains
All entries piled with snow and not cleared

Purgatory House
Nice house and location. Definitely not as close to the lifts as I thought, but easy walking distance. We didn’t find an info sheet, like we are accustomed to, so had a few questions which the owners answered promptly. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Thrilled with Balcony House! I'll definitely book this property in the future - accommodations were just right for our group of 8 - everyone had privacy, bathrooms are well-situated, kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, flatware & cooking utensils. The property is spacious, with views to die for, & proximity to slopes & Purgy's, etc. was perfect.

Spacious condo with garage convenient to mountain, well-maintained rental property. Only critique was that many of the dishes, glasses and silverware in the cupboards were dirty. Perhaps dishwasher needs replacing?

Accommodations were terrific! The proximity to the slopes was fantastic. Comfortable with plenty of space!!! The views were gorgeous and we had the blessing of a full moon weekend!!

Great House!
This is a gorgeous house in a great location with a fabulous view! We just had a family of 4 but there is plenty of room for a multi-family trip. We had a few minor issues with the heat that could happen anywhere but Debbi got them fixed quickly and was super quick to respond to anything. We definitely recommend!

Nice big house
We really enjoyed our stay at this large and comfortable house. The location was great - just a short walk to the plaza at Purgatory Resort. The house was perfect for our group of 3 couples, with 3 bedrooms (all with queen size beds), 3 full bathrooms, a large well equipped kitchen, a huge dining table, nice living area with a high ceiling, a separate TV/game room downstairs with a wet bar and a nice balcony with a fantastic view. I would guess the garage is really nice to have in the winter. The decor and furniture was not ultra modern - some would say a bit dated, but that was not really very important to us and did not detract from our stay. In fact it felt more like a real home rather than a showplace and that accentuated the hominess and comfortable atmosphere. My only minor criticism is the stains on the carpet - I imagine it is very difficult to keep it clean with a short term rental. At some point it might be wise to consider replacing the carpet with an easier to maintain hard surface flooring of some kind.

We found ourselves spending more time at the house than we planned just because hanging out on the balcony was so peaceful and relaxing! The sunrises over the mountains were breathtaking! Being in the Purgatory Resort makes it the perfect location between Durango and Silverton. Purgatory is a a great area for biking and walking and watching wildlife. The staff there were super friendly and the pizza place is excellent!We definitely plan to stay here again when we come back for a winter ski trip! I’m sure the view is even more beautiful with snow! Thank you Debbi for being a great host!! Our family had a great vacation!

Overall the home was spacious, comfortable and clean. We stay in several VRBO homes a year on vacation and this one probably had the best view. The only improvement I would suggest is leaving adequate paper products...tp and paper towels. Overall I would stay here again!

Everythiing was good with the exception of the cleanliness of the property. Dishes were dirty, kitchen counter had food on it from previous guest, bathrooms were not cleaned. Overall the comfort level was not good because the property was dirty.

Purgatory getaway
location was perfect for all we wanted to do. House allowed us to have a good central spot. The one thing I will share is that the house itself needs to be deep cleaned. Carpets...windows. Hard to enjoy a spectacular view with dirty windows. Owner is nice. I did however appreciate having to haul off trash simply because it did not fit in cleaning service vehicle. I think sometimes the hospitality aspect of some these rentals are lost.
