Had a great stay

This property is perfect for any stay on the Cape but especially multi-age folks…there is something for everyone from house toys and games, beach toys, water toys, kayaks, bikes, spacious yard. There are lots of spaces in the house for late sleepers, early wakers, porch sitters, grill masters and on and on! The kitchen is fully equip of cooking…which we did. ( Only thing we didn’t find was a muffin tin🤣) Morning sweet tooth easily satisfied by short walk to Snowy Owl for delicious coffee and pastries. Communication with Jackie and Charlene was a pleasure! All sad to leave at the end of a great week!

Every year we go on a family vacation with our children and grandchildren. Everyone agreed at the end of this one that this was definitely one of the best. The house and cottage worked out extremely well, the backyard was perfect for the kids, and the location was excellent. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a family get-away.

The property owners/managers were extremely good with communication. House better than described, picture perfect view of the marsh and located close to whatever you're looking fir. We had 2 teen girls, a 10 year old boy and 3 adults, kids said they would stay there again over a hotel (even if the hotel had a water park). House had lots of room and great character. Will be on the short list of places to return to!

The setting was inspiring. That included the ability to see a variety of water birds from the second floor windows. The house had everything one could have wanted and more. The decor was elegant, relaxing and rustic. Everything went above and beyond what we expected. Especially suited to a big family or two families.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home! We began each day with coffee on the porch overlooking the marsh while the kids slept in; An absolutely perfect and peaceful way to start the day! And we enjoyed closing the day with camp fires in the fire pit. The generosity our hosts, Charlene and Jackie, was apparent. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, the beach towels were in ample supply, and kayaks and beach supplies were all available for our enjoyment. Jackie and Charlene checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and to make sure that we were enjoying our stay. We really came to feel as if we were being hosted by family. This house especially appealed to us because it was pet friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and nicely furnished it was. The town of Sandwich is very pet friendly, and our dogs enjoyed all the attention they got when we were out on our walks. The location was great and offered something for everyone. We were able to walk into town, to the beach or to mini-golf. We kayaked out to the beach from a creek right next to the house. The canal and bike path was just a short distance away. The restaurants were great, and the people incredibly friendly. We are grateful for the time we spent in this home and on this beautiful property, and highly recommend it!

So comfortable, relaxing and so well equipped- this home made the perfect much-needed vacation. More than enough beds, great use of space and a kitchen that felt like home with all the appliances, pots, silverware and everything else. We had 7 adults most of the week and added 3 more for a few nights; plenty of room to socialized and be separate at the same time. Beautiful yard, nice location

This is our second time staying. The home is perfect in every way. It’s roomy enough for our extended family of 10. The owners have thought of everything. We want for nothing while we are there. Jackie and Charlene are excellent hosts. They even found shoes and clothes my husband left from the year before. The porch is wonderful for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The marsh is gorgeous and amazing to kayak (in the kayaks provided!). You can walk to Sandwich for breakfast and a little shopping in the great gift shops. You can walk to the boardwalk where the kids are jumping at high tide (us adults jumped too). You can have a cookout or make a meal in the fully stocked kitchen and have dinner for 10 at the big dining table. We just love this home and the location is perfect.

No issues, great house and home owners are responsive and accommodating

We had the pleasure of renting a week in June for our group of 3 generations. The impeccably clean house is perfectly set up to divide spaces so the littlest can tuck in early while the others can have adult conversation. We had a puzzle on the hightop table in the great room overlooking the marsh and that was the hit in the evenings. The large dining room table hosted a lobster dinner and the fire pit was also appreciated for s'mores. Most importantly, location! The neighborhood is quiet and the marsh access was perfect for exploring at low tide and putting our kayak and paddle boards in at high tide. The youngest solo boater (age 5) was able to navigate against the current just fine on his own. It was also our niece (age 1) and puppy's (5 mos) first time on a board and the gentle nature of the marsh provided the perfect backdrop for the introduction. We also drove to the beach but some of our party enjoyed the short walk to Town Neck. Jumping off the boardwalk bridge at high tide is a must for the adventurous! Also, there is easy access to 6A, which is a scenic drive to downtown Chatham (stop at Brewster General Store and low tide at Breakwater Beach!) when 6 is backed up. There are multiple televisions if you need a movie break and the kitchen has everything you need to host a fab dinner. The three season porch was the landing zone for our bag of activities for the children and they enjoyed watercolors and sketching out there. The washing machine is huge and appreciated! The hosts are absolutely delightful and promptly communicated any necessary information. We are sure to be back next summer!

My friends and I stayed at Charlene’s place for the weekend. The house is perfect for a big group while still allowing it to feel homey. With quaint views and sounds from the marsh, quick walk to a beautiful beach, and more we sad to leave at the end of our stay!

Spent five days with our children/grandchildren and two large grand-dogs at this wonderful home, after not being able to see them for a very long time due to COVID restrictions. Although our daughter and son-in-law both needed to work for the first two days (virtually), it was easy for each of them to find spaces in the house where they could use the internet without disruptions or distractions. The home also is set up in a way that certain areas can be closed off to minimize noise from early risers or for quiet conversations or alone time. The fire pit was a hit! Did get to use the bikes, but bring your own helmets and locks. Too cold for kayaks. Large enclosed garage was perfect for active games during the two rainy and windy days. Watching the changes/birds on the marsh was fascinating. The town is laid back, quiet, with excellent takeout choices. We also appreciated that everyone wore masks when we were in the town or at several more tourist oriented sites. House is extremely well equipped and the owners are accessible and helpful.

We stayed over Christmas. It rained but the home was large spacious and welcoming! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed family time together. The owners were fabulous to deal with. Very responsive and honest and flexible which was very much appreciated as we were traveling with a sick relative. Very happy with our stay!

We had a great time with our friends there for the weekend! It had just snowed, and it was like a winter wonderland overlooking the marsh and Boardwalk. It was a very cozy home with lots of spaces to gather. Perfect location too!

We had a wonderful girls’ weekend get away at this beautiful home. Everything you need! Gorgeous sunset views and easy to get into town and to the beach.

We had a lovely stay enjoying both the houses and the grounds. My husband and I stayed in the little house while my daughter, her husband and teens stayed in the big house. Everyone enjoyed their accommodations and there was plenty of room on the porch for us to socialize with social distancing!

I stayed here with a group of 8 friends for a golf weekend and it was the perfect house for us! There is plenty of room in the house and the backyard is a great place to hang out. The hosts were great and were just a text message away.

The check-in and check-out process was straightforward, as well as the communication with the host. We are planning to rent this house in the future again is possible.

Perfect Location

Our stay in Sandwich was fantastic. The home was perfect for our family. The property is lovely and the setting is stunning on the marsh. We enjoyed the kayaks, the fire pit and sitting on the porch. Charlene and Jackie were terrific to work with leading up to and during our stay. And the home has everything you’d need to be comfortable. We hope to be back next summer.

This home was perfect for our extended family to stay- lots and lots of space, Beautiful porch where we spent most of our time enjoying the view, all The amenities you need.... and the beach was perfect for our kids to explore and swim safely. Charlene and Jackie were amazing to work with!

This home was the perfect place for our family getaway. We had family from Rhode Island, Sandwich, and Idaho meeting up for our once a year get together and everything was great. The home is clean, organized, and well planned out for renters. With kids ranging in age from newborn to 10 years old as well as two dogs, the home had everything we needed. It is a beautiful spot! Excellent property for families and guest to the Cape.

This a great house with plenty of room! Loved having coffee on the deck in the mornings. Nice location within walking distance to restaurants and shops and to the boardwalk. Also the house was very well stocked with all the basic items needed. Thanks for a fantastic stay in Sandwich!

Daughters from Charleston, Cary, and Chicago with their families joined us for the Fourth of July week at this lovely home. Much time spent on the back deck and at the fire pit. So close to the boardwalk and beaches. Great views. Owners are great to work with. All hope to return.
