Tranquil Bon Secour River Cabin, Near Beach
Esta cabaña está ubicada directamente en el río Bon Secour, en Bon Secour, cerca de Foley. Alabama. Es una cabaña rebuscado, que da a un recodo del río donde las aves y la fauna abundan. This property is awesome. Its clean, stocked and very close to everything. The view is breath taking, the river animals do not dissappoint. If we visit again, we will be staying here.

Michael was super easy to connect with! House was in a secluded area yet only minutes from outlets, grocery/ walmart, drug store, auto repair (that hopefully you will not need). We seen the dolphins in the early morning, seen much of the wildlife but thankfully no gators. It was the perfect home for a family! Pool was great 3-5 foot deep fenced in so you could still see the river happenings from the pool.

This was by far one of our favorite vacations and a big reason why was because of our stay with Mr.Mike! The cabin was exactly what we were looking for! It was exactly like the listing, super clean, a gorgeous view and Mike was more than accommodating with any help we needed. We will 10000% be back!!!

We have come to love this location. It's a quiet little set up not too far from the beach with a peaceful setting perfect for our small family. The owner is really easy to communicate with and has always been very responsive. If you like relaxing with a cup of coffee, a water view and the sounds of nature. This is a quiet place to enjoy some peace while visiting the area.

We loved taking the kayaks out onto the river and fishing from the cabin’s dock. Our family of five had just enough space to enjoy the weekend: My husband and I in the master bedroom, our teenager in the other, and our two younger kids on the pull-out sofa bed. Internet and Wi-Fi gave us no problems and it was very clean inside. Super cozy and exactly what our family needed.

Great get away for the girls. Easy access to Gulf Shores, shopping and restaurants. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful advice.

Our stay at Mike's condo was great! First, Mike was a pleasure to communicate with and the people in the other units were a pleasure to meet and hang out with. The unit was clean, well-stocked and comfortable.
The view is fantastic - with dolphins every night, continual "mullet" fish jumping, ducks, turtles, crab. Bring your fishing rod to catch Red Fish and Speckled Trout right off the dock.
Be sure to eat at the Tin Top and get some fresh seafood at the local fishery (the Mahi Mahi was great!) to make on the grill/stove.
Note - the Galley restaurant right there is closed for an indefinite period of time - which is out of Mike's control but something to be aware of.
We will absolutely be back!

Our stay in Foley, Alabama was amazing. Their property was perfect even more than what we expected. In fact, we think we are going to make it our yearly trip the fishing was amazing. The people that were around there were so friendly. It was beautiful the property was far enough way, so you’re not in the crowds all the time, but yet close enough to go to the beaches and everything else at the Gulf Shores has to offer. The owner of the property had excellent communication with us. He gave us lots of tips of places to see Anne to do, it was just amazing. I can’t see anything bad about the whole experience.

Comfortable cabin on the Bon Secours River where we used the provided kayaks. Watched some dolphins going up and down the river.
Short drive to beaches and Gulf State Park. Loved walking the pier and watching the sharks swimming around. Nice biking at the park too.
Enjoyed LuLu’s in Golf Shores and Lambert’s in Foley. Plus made a trip to Billy’s market for fresh sea food.

Perfect place for anyone that wants peace and quiet at night. Also, a short drive to town, for all the attractions Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have to offer. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything to make ourselves at home. Quick responses from the host, on check in and info about the area. We were in Gulf Shores for a USSSA softball tournament. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We used the kayaks and the pool and went fishing on the dock. We were close to the fields, beach, shops, & restaurants. We highly recommend this cabin.

We stayed in mid-July. While quite warm, the pool was a quick 2 minute walk from the property. Easy commute to the beach (I recommend the pier beach at the state park).
The property was clean abd very welcoming. Fishing was great fun as well as just watching the wildlife. Definitely will return with our family!

Loved our little getaway. We had best of both worlds. We wanted to enjoy the beach and do a little fishing. We were able to fish anytime we wanted at the place we were staying and we were only mins from the beach. It was a lovely place to stay. We definitely plan to come back.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Overall, this place is great for going to the beach during the day and having a quiet place to fish in the evening. We plan on coming back next year.

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place but close enough to store and beach this is your place. We saw dolphins almost everyday (the best part) . We fished off the pier and really enjoyed the whole experience.

This cabin is located in such a beautiful area! I enjoyed watching the few thunderstorms during my stay from the upper deck. The house was very clean and inviting. I would definitely rent this property again! Thank you for a great stay!

We had another wonderful weekend at this location. Our first time staying in this rental but it did not disappoint. If you like coming back to peacefulness at the end of the beach day crowds, this rental is quiet and peaceful and perfect for families. This was our third stay at this location and we look forward to many more in the future. Bon Secour River has my heart now.

If your looking for a place that is close to the beach and tourist attractions and you want some peace and quiet, this is it!
The cabin was very clean and well furnished. Mike is a very accommodating host and is very responsive to any questions you may have.
Thoroughly enjoyed the entertaining wildlife of the Bon Secour. We were frequented by a Pelican, we called Fred, and were visited by two Dolphin while having our coffee on the deck one morning.
Overall experience, definitely 5 Stars for location, condition of the property and our host.
Won't hesitate to reserve again on our next visit to the Alabama Gulf Coast.

We had a very nice Birthday trip for my 8 year old son. The cabin was clean and very quiet. We caught so many fish just off the dock. We are very pleased and would like to schedule a return visit.

We came to town for a week long softball tournament. Location was great for avoiding beach traffic yet still close enough to get everywhere we wanted to go. Equipped with all we could want or need. Kids had a blast.

Overall ok but a bit disappointed
Property was overall ok but the tv in the master didn’t work properly and the toilet fill valve would stuck open on a regular basis.
