Wonderful place, just on the hillside of Trevi. Stunning views from the terrace. Great location for exploring the area around.

Great location, in the countryside with a beautiful view of Trevi and the valley. Short 10 minute walk to town with restaurants etc. We stayed during the Ottobre Trevano, a special time where the town turns streets back to medieval time and you can dine in "taverna"" with great home made cooking. Fiona is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed

Lovely place to stay in Italy in a very relaxing environment.
Great place to stay in Italy and relax away from the busy tourist areas. Trevi is a lovely little village with a true Italian village and Fiona is a lovely host.

Great location but needs Work
Perfect location in Trevi and very nice host, but our Wifi did not work for the majority of the stay which was a big problem for me. Two of the beds are also in need of replacements. Could use some more amenities in the kitchen/ bathroom.

Great apartment close to Trevi
My friends and I had a great stay in Fiona's apartment.
We stayed in the top apartment which sleeps 4. There is a beautiful double bed room with a large balcony with amazing views of the Umbria countryside.
The second bedroom has two single beds. The kitchen is clean and well equipped, as was the bathroom.
There is also large shared pool with lounges set in a beautiful garden, and even a tabletable table.
The property is a short walk up a steep hill to Trevi (10 mins), which is a beautiful ancient town.
Fiona was a great host and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.
I can't recommend this place enough!

A slice of paradise
Posto incantevole, piscina molto comoda nei giorni caldi, il balconcino permette di cenare e fare colazione circondati da una vista meravigliosa su tutta la vallata e la stessa Trevi, non manca nulla per una vacanza rilassante e ristoratrice.

Beautiful Trevi
We enjoyed our vacation here, the apartment is very compact but the extensive pool area more than makes up for it, its was amazing! The beds were super comfy and the property is just a stroll into the village

Beautiful setting, lovely apartment
We stayed in the larger of the two apartments Fiona and Richard have to rent. The space of the large lounge/dining/kitchen was great for a relaxing evening in cooking our own meal in the well-equipped kitchen. Having two bathrooms, each with excellent showers, was also a real bonus.
The property itself is in a delightful setting with views both up to the ancient town of Trevi and down across the Umrbian countryside. Surrounded by trees and brightened by the flowers in pots and in the garden leading down to the large pool and sunbathing area. For us Lappo the very friendly dog added to the pleasure.
The one problem with such greenery is that it attracts plenty of insects which seemed to find our pale skin irresistable. For us that put the pool out of bounds after one visit - but to be fair other guests were clearly sunbathing unbitten the following day and we d also get bitten to some degree everywhere else we went in Italy!
Richard gave us good advice on dealing with bites as well as tips on restaurants and shops in the old town which proved good ones.
Trevi is a nice, little town and quieter than many others we visited. It is also a short drive down to Borgo Trevi with supermarkets and access to the regional dual-carriageway giving easy access to both Spoleto and the mountains to the south-east and to Bevagna, Montefalco, Spello and Assisi a few miles north.

Great location. Just right for the 3 of us
Fiona, Richard, Lapo and the cats made us very welcome and the apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for the week. Missing the salt-water pool already and the lovely views of Trevi and the surrounding countryside. The local restaurants were excellent - a particular shout out for Taverna del Sette where we had two very enjoyable meals. Would love to come back one day

A beautiful apartment in a lovely building. Spectacular views. Extremely clean and well equipped.
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. As mentioned it is really clean and comfortable. The hosts are helpful and friendly. It is beautifully decorated. It is a 10 minute walk from the beautiful town of Trevi with all it's cafes, restaurants and craft shops. Local supermarkets are easily reached within 15 minutes by car. We enjoyed the pool area which had plentiful Sun loungers and umbrellas. The pool is clean and well kept. The balcony was a good size and we enjoyed our meals and nightime drinks there looking out at the spectacular views of Trevi and the surrounding countryside. Highly recommended and we hope to return in the not too distant future. Thank you Fiona and Richard.

Good
Pros-
The apartment is in a great location, quiet yet only a 10 minute walk to restaurants and cafes in lovely Trevi.
The pool is gorgeous with plenty of sun loungers and, at the end of June, was warm enough to spend some time in. We were lucky in that the other apartment wasn’t occupied so on the times we went down to the pool we nearly always had it to ourselves. Twice in our stay the owners had a group of Friends around the pool area. The first time was the day of our arrival and we waited till they had gone before we went down. The second time we went down while they were there and We felt a bit like we were intruding.
The terrace had beautiful views and was a delight to eat our meals there.
There are lots of lovely places to visit in Umbria and unlike its neighbour Tuscany, you are not surrounded by other tourists. Even as easy, the most touristy place, I visiting early evening then having our evening meal there, there were very few tourists.
CONS -
The owners have two listed apartments, one with two bedrooms and one with three. Unfortunately the photographs are the same on both listings so, unless you read the room descriptions very carefully, you would be forgiven for thinking that the two bedroom apartment had a lounge and the three bedroom apartment had a terrace with a wonderful view.
On arrival we had to ask the owners for a few basic things like a dish cloth, binliners, and ironing board and bedlinen for the second bedroom. These were supplied immediately but we felt awkward asking for them.
Something out of the owners control I - mosquitoes! On the first morning of our stay we woke up covered in bites so headed down to the supermarket to buy plug ins, candles, room sprays And mosquito repellent. We didn’t go out onto the Terrace our poolwithout spraying first and kept the doors and windows closed at all times. Even then we were bitten every day. Fiona and Richard said that the council hadn’t treated the area as there had been a local election but hoped that it will be done soon.
TO SUM UP
I would recommend the apartment to friends as I think, with a little attention to detail, it is a great place to visit and stay.

Sheer paradise
Fiona and Richard are the friendliest most accommodating of hosts, the accommodation is 10 minute walk uphill from the stunning unspoilt town of Trevi which we immediately fell in love with, good choice of restaraunts all very nice with the old post office getting a special mention. Great location for visiting other towns by car or train such as Spoleto, Gubbio, Assisi, Monte Falco and Spello being amongst our favourites. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need for a days chilling and comfortable night sleep. Finally a big thank you to Fiona and Richard for being so flexible after we needed to change our booking because of work commitments and in particular to Richard for getting up so early to give us a lift to the station. Thank you for a wonderful and very memorable holiday, hopefully see you soon!

Rooms with a view
We had a great time. The outstanding feature has to be the balcony with its fantastic view and all-day sunshine. We had great weather during our stay and invariably ate our meals on the balcony. It is also very good for watching birds if you are into that! Very quiet location within 10 minutes walk of Trevi. Good base for us as plenty of interesting towns and good hill-walking within easy reach. Kitchen and bathroom slightly dated but perfectly serviceable and clean.

Pretty area and lovely views- apartment could have been better
Trevi is a beautiful little village with wonderful views off the hillside, its lovely to walk around but there is not a huge amount to do, especially for our 2 year old son. Thankfully there is a park very close to the apartment which he loved.
There are good towns to visit such as Spoleto and Perugia although we found Perugia didn't have a lot on offer but perhaps as we were out of tourist season that may be why. We enjoyed visiting the Marmore waterfalls which we would reccomend.
The apartment has the potential to be great- the owners (and Adrian, Fiona's brother) are very friendly and their dog Lapo is a gorgeous and friendly dog who our son really loved playing and thowing the ball for. (He still talks about Lapo lots some weeks later!)
The swimming pool area is really nice but unfortunately it was too cold to have an enjoyable swim when we were visiting (end of September).
Our only main complaint is that the apartment, although looks very pretty, is very well used and in need of a bit of love and money spent on things such as the shower (we had to do a diy job to stop it falling down on our heads when showering), there was no plug for the small bath's plug hole so our little boy couldn't bath all week (we held him under the shower with us), the bed is not particularly comfortable and the kitchen and utensils, pots and pans are all very well used.
All in all, it was a pleasant stay with the potential to be much better- we were left feeling slightly disappointed in the quality of the apartment after the price we had paid to stay (even out of season).
Hopefully some constructive criticism and we were grateful for our stay in the property.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location.
Just returned from two fabulous weeks in Trevi. The apartment was well kitted out. Our apartment, the top floor of he house, must have one of the best views in the Trevi. The pool area and gardens are stunning. Trevi is a great location for visiting other places of interest with a good rail service to Rome and Florence.Trevi has several restaurants and bars which are ten minutes walk from the house. The property owners, Fiona and Richard, are extremely welcoming, friendly and can provide local information. All in all we had a fantastic stay and I am sure we will return!

Amazing villa, beautiful location and lovely hosts.
After arriving from a long journey our hosts quickly settled us in and gave us detailed directions to the best local food. Any questions or issues we had, they answered. The villa had a spectacular view of the valley and was spotless. Relaxing pool area set in the spacious and quiet garden overlooking the olive fields. The location is walking distance of some amazing restaurants and driving distance from several towns with high quality Italian food. Lovely dog.

Lovely view, large pool, great location
Clean and simple apartment. The balcony has amazing dynamic views - the panorama includes Trevi, the bustling valley below with trains and fast roads and peaceful hills in the distance. Trevi is 10 minutes walk up a steep hill and is a lovely village to walk around with places to eat and a few shops. The pool was perfect and Fiona and Richard were perfect hosts-discreet but also friendly and helpful. We spent some days without moving very far, but also went on trips to villages including Spello, Spoleto, Bevagna, Montefalco and Campello sul Clittuno. All very picturesque. In general we ate and drank very well when we went out….alot of pasta and truffles! The weather was hot and the only drawback was the evening mosquitos.

Peace and Tranquility...;-)
What can I say..? Me and my wife spent 2 weeks in the most adorable apartment with a small terrace where we spent many cool breakfasts and (hotter) evening BBQ's.
The property was exactly as expected and as described. Clean, well maintained and ideal for 4 persons....although we were only two.
The location was spectacular, high on the side of the hill going into Trevi with a view to die for, especially when the sun was setting.
The area is good for those who want a mix..? We did a day in then a day out but always coming back to chill out in the large pool. It's a relaxing area, just sightseeing, but at the same time biking (we took our own, but were informed you can rent nearby) and horse riding for us were great, although a bit hot. I'm sure there are other activities just that we didn't look.
Eating in or out was a pleasure and costs way below what we expected. Trevi is small but has 3 good restaurants and we never paid more than EUR. 60 including 'Apero' and a bottle of local wine with the meal. Easy walking distance, if a little hot, going up the hill to the village.
Wine and food in local supermarket was cheap, good white at EUR. 3.70..!
The owners live 'onsite' and were the perfect hosts, nothing was to much problem, either, to sit by the pool chatting, or to the drinks on their terrace, we were made so welcome. Especially by the dog who kindly brings sticks the size of matchsticks for you to throw...:-)
The whole area if nice and green and has plenty of lovely places to see. We were told by travelling 15-20 minutes to other towns and villages, you find some really lovely restaurants but, if your like us, who enjoy a glass (or two), then the 10 - 15 mins walk was enough.
How did we find this place...? I went on the web site and was looking for a place for 2 and in Italy this is quite difficult, so we settled for one for 4. When we saw the pictures, we thought, yes.
I understand there is another apartment, which was below us which sleeps 4 or 6 (check).
Would I go again, definitely....:-) Would I recommend others to go, a big yes, but only on days when I would not be there....
Were there any negatives...? For my wife no, but then again she doesn't get eaten by mosquitos. I wasn't expecting mosquitos so 1st day or so I was bitten but after, with spray its fine, and probably one of the quietest, nicest places we've stayed in.
I could say a lot more but I think it better that you go and find out for yourselves....so enjoy...;-)

Great holiday home in a Umbria
A lovely, well equipped apartment in a beautiful location - private sunny balcony with great views. Trevi is very well placed for touring Umbria. Good sized pool, always clean with plenty of sun bathing space in a well tended garden full of interesting tress and plants.Fiona and Richard are the best of hosts.

Beautiful locations and great accommodation
Just back from a fabulous stay at Villa Due Cipressi. We had the smaller apartment for the four of us (two adult/two children). It was perfect and Fiona and Richard were both extremely friendly and very helpful. We like to cook and the kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms are simple but nicely decorated and very comfortable. There's a stunning view from the balcony up to Trevi and across the valley – we watched the sun go down each evening and played cards...with a glass of wine. In the morning we sat out and ate breakfast. It was lovely.
Our boys (9 and 12) loved the pool, which is set in a beautiful garden. We were down there practically every day, in the morning and late afternoon. It was very hot when we were there but got used to it.
Some evenings we went up into Trevi and had aperitifs in the old square or ate in one of the restaurants. Great pizza! It's a quiet town and very peaceful. We shopped for groceries down in Borga Trevi, at the bottom of the hill where there's a good supermarket. For bigger ones you can go a little further.
There's lots to do without going very far. We took short trips to Montefalco and Bevagna for ice creams. Assisi is a little more touristy but it doesn't detract from how stunning the city is. We drove to the top and parked really easily just above Basilica of San Francesco which is amazing. We thought parking wasn't expensive but I think you can park further down for less or nothing.
Generally, we took it easy and relaxed but got the train one day from Trevi to Rome. We booked online and just showed the conductor tickets on our iPad which worked out a bit cheaper and was pretty easy. We also booked tickets for the Collusium online which meant we got faster. The train was easy. Rome was hot and tiring but well worth it. We just walked around despite being advised to use the tourist buses. It worked out fine for us but our feet were sore by the end of the day.
For something different, on another day, we booked the factory tour at the Pergugina factory in Perugia. It didn't cost much and takes about an hour. You get to sample their chocolates as you go and we found it very interesting. You have to book.
Overall, our holiday was exactly what we wanted: superb location, amazing weather, great accommodation, good food and very relaxing. We'd highly recommend Villa due Cipressi.

"Fabulous holiday, wonderful apartment"
We spent 10 days at Tosca, a beautiful apartment with a view to die for.
The apartment is comfortable, clean and well equipped in fact we slept like logs! Fiona and Richard were perfect hosts and even had dinner with us in Trevi on our last night. They were there if needed but never intrusive. The gardens are lovely and the pool was fantastic, cleaned daily and surrounded by sun loungers aplenty! Trevi is a 5 minute walk away and is an authentic unspoilt town with a fab piazza for people watching and espresso! We will definitely be back soon.... Thank you Fiona and Richard. The Smiths

A lovely week!
The owners have created a beautifully furnished and very comfortable apartment with a private, sunny terrace and lovely views of Trevi. The tranquil and rural setting is delightful but only a short walk from the little hill town and its lovely bars and restaurants. Lots to see in the area with the beautiful salt water pool to cool off in at the end of the day as well as to enjoy the evening swallows and the visiting hoopoe! Fiona and Richard were extremely helpful but not at all intrusive, Umbria is stunning, we cannot recommend this location too highly.

Tosca and Traviata
A beautiful location. We return again and again to stay in this convenient and comfortable apartment just outside Trevi. A fantastic base for exploring the area, on foot, or by car. The view from the terrace in Tosca up to Trevi, and across the valley below is breathtaking. Owners Fiona and Richard are welcoming, friendly and happy to share their knowledge of the best walks, drives, and places to sample the fantastic gastronomy in the area. The fabulous pool in the garden below is an added bonus and mostly you have it all to yourself with just birdsong for company.
A perfect base from which to explore and experience the delights of Umbria - or to just totally relax and unwind on the terrace or by the pool.
