We had a great time. The property was the perfect way size for our family. Being on the ground floor was so nice with direct access to the pool for my little ones.

This unit was well equipped with everything you need for a vacation, had comfortable sleeping accommodations, including a door to the bunkbed room. We enjoyed the extra amenitie of 2 beach chairs and umbrella set up for us everyday at the beach. We already book this unit again in the fall it was so good!

This property is beautiful. It is VERY clean and complete with everything you need. The ocean, pool, and hot tub are right outside the door. Our children loved staying here too!

The location and weather were perfect. The room had been used when we got there. The toilets and sinks had some hair and debris. It was easily cleaned. There wasn’t a vacuum to sweep up sand as stated, but all else was great. Even the weather was perfect for the beach in November! Gorgeous! No shells though.

We have been staying at Destin West for over 10 years and this was our 9th time since 2016. We have stayed in this unit multiple times, always very nice. I was already looking to next fall in 2024 but someone already beat us to it! Great for families.

The property was perfect for our party. We were in the gulf side and right outside the pool. We had a gate directly to the pool. The property even came with tubes, beach toys, etc. We will definitely be back!

We were blessed with perfect weather for our week stay. Condo is well equipped and the location is perfect. Being on the first floor gave us great access to the beach, hot tub, and pool as well as easy to come and go as needed to the car with covered parking. Within walking distance to restaurants and plenty of shopping options. The booking and entering the condo for the first time was effortless and we were actually able to get in early. Leaving was a breeze too as all you have to do is take out the trash and put any dishes in the dishwasher.

This condo is everything you would want to make your vacation perfect. From a beautiful interior to a huge patio right next to the pool. The condo is very spacious and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped with any appliance you would need. Working with the Coastal Vibe team is always a pleasure. They are friendly and very helpful. We have rented from them numerous times and always have had a wonderful experience. Thanks for making our vacation perfect.

Great Place for Families!
We had a wonderful week at Destin West. Gulfside 108 has pool access from the porch, which was great for our kids. It is just a short walk out to the beach. We loved the included beach service- you just have to get out there early to get a front row. The owner was very quick to respond to questions and needs. We have stayed at Destin West several times and love the family friendly atmosphere.

Great Vacation Spot
We had a lovely time in Destin while staying at Destin West Gulfside 108! Room location was perfect, had fun at all the different pools, walking distance to boardwalk and pier with shops and restaurants. We went with two kids (6 and 3) and they had a blast!

Another Great Trip...
This is our 20th trip to Destin West Bay and Beach Resort. We have rented from many different companies over the years, even Destin West directly. This is our second time to rent with Coastal Vibes and they are by far our favorite company to rent from. The condos are always well stocked and clean. Thank you so much for another great trip! We are getting ready to rebook for next summer.

We loved Destin West Gulf 108. The condo was well stocked with everything you need. We loved the convenience to pools, gulf, close parking and spacious patio. We saw so many great sunsets from the boardwalk leading to the beach. There are also several restaurants within walking distance. We would stay here again

Christmas at the beach
This was our first time traveling to the Fort Walton/Destin area. We were able to book a last minute trip away for Christmas and had the most amazing time. Our condo was wonderful, it had everything we needed, plenty of space for the 5 of us (two adults, 3 kids) and the location was perfect. This is my new favorite vacation spot and we will definitely be back!

I have stayed at Destin West Gulf side several times. I always have reserved with the same owner. When my reservation was canceled last min., I searched for a condo just as nice and I came across Coastal Vibes. I am glad I booked with them. Our stay was wonderful. The unit was clean, nicely decorated, and met my high standards. This was my first time staying on the ground floor, but the easy access definitely made up for it. I will book with them again, and recommend to others!

Fall Vacation
We love Okaloosa in the fall and we love this property and unit just as much! This is our second or third time staying and it's always the best. David is so helpful through the whole process and the unit is always clean and fully furnished! Until next OCT!

Incredible...Every time we come!!!
This top floor penthouse unit (Herron PH05) is so incredibly awesome....it feels like it is brand new! So well decorated...and fabulously comfortable beds! The view and the rooftop jacuzzi are awesome!!! We'll be back!!

SUN SAND AND SEAN
This is our second time in this condo. The condo is clean and updated. We love it! It's nicely decorated. It's perfect on the first floor close enough to the beach and right onto the pool. We will rent again!

Perfection and convenience
We travelled with a group of 15. I searched and searched for a single home that would met everyone’s needs. That is an impossible and frustrating task and I won’t attempt it again. I found Destin West and fell in love with the photos and amenities. I booked 108 and then sent the information to everyone who had expressed an interest in going so they could choose a unit that would fit their needs. We ended up total of five units booked at Destin West. Three were pool level. This was perfect because it was a beautiful and easily accessible to the pool and our friends. Everyone loved 108. We’ve already shown photos to our friends (which I selfishly hesitated to do because I want to keep 108 for myself) and they all want to stay in 108. We had a wonderful week laughing and visiting with family and friends. The patio area was a big hit as it was spacious and well furnished. I hope to stay there again soon. Thanks Coastal Vibes for a fantastic getaway.

Perfect location!
Wonderful unit! Very clean and updated. Perhaps the best part is its location to the pool and beach access, along with the convenient drop off area located just adjacent to the front door. We were in Ft. Walton with our softball team and everyone commented how we had the best unit!

Great Location
This was our 4th time staying at this complex. Is a great place for families as there is so much to do onsite. The pools and lazy river are great and it's nice to have the hot tubs at night. Beach access is so convenient and this unit provided beach service everyday. Additionally, they had a collection of rafts & beach items to use. The unit was in great conditions and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Overall, the unit was in really nice condition with great access to everything. Made for a very enjoyable stay.

Only complaints are the fruit flies, which were there 2 years ago and the master sink. The stoppers weren't attached under the sink and the water wasn't draining correctly.

Fantastic Condo
We have been coming to Destin West for many years. We stay in the same room and boy were we surprised with the updates from our last stay. This place has it all and is so inviting. We will be back next year maybe for an extended stay! Thanks for everything David.

Overall this is a good property to stay at if you have children. Destin West has 3 pool areas, 2 on the gulf side and 1 on the bayside (which has a lazy river... fun but cold water). This particular unit being on ground level is convenient if your children prefer the pool area. However you won’t have an ocean view from your patio area and sometimes you will have the occasional trash/items dropped from above (I hope only accidentally). After staying here, I think I personally prefer units with an ocean view though.
We have stayed at Destin West several times in the past years. Changes I have noticed mainly deal with the former Ramada hotel next door. It is under a new name and management now and no longer invites Destin West guests to share their amenities- so no more swimming at the grotto (the waterfall pool) and probably the worst of it... they have changed the splash pad area into an outdoor event area. The first two nights we stayed there we had music blasting toward the condo until 10pm. Thankfully no other events were scheduled the week we stayed there. We did purchase some mixed drinks from their beach bar (which were weak and probably not worth the money), and my daughter did purchase a burger and fries from the food hut around back and no one said anything about us being there.
One of the perks of staying at Destin West gulf side is having 2 complimentary beach chairs with an umbrella included during your week. However, this past visit, we had to go out every morning to the beach service hut to reserve the chairs instead of only the first day of our stay for the entire week like during our past visits (get there about an hour early if you want to be on the front row though).
This unit is well stocked with extras in the kitchen but unfortunately several kitchen items were dirty when we went to use them for the first time including a cutting board with mold, dirty glasses and cutlery and large food crumbs in one of the drawers. The refrigerator was missing a couple of the door shelves (which they notified us on arrival) but still was missed when loading the fridge for 7 people for a week. We had some toilet issues too but maintenance was there within a 24hr period after being notified. The base of the hall toilet leaks too. All kind of minor issues but prevents me from giving 5 stars.
Beds were ok... twin beds could use new mattresses.
Location is great for a walk to the pier and restaurants & shops.

Nice stay, convenient location
This condo is conveniently located in FWB. The walkout directly at the pool was appreciated. I was concerned with hearing noise above when it was bedtime. The condo was very quiet and nicely decorated. There was a bit of an issue with the refrigerator but was resolved. I would stay here again.

Destin West Gulfside 108 was everything we had imagined! It was so very clean, cozy & had all the items we needed to be able to cook and do laundry while staying there on vacation! We enjoyed the patio and how it was right beside the pool, and a short walk to the beach! We will chose Gulfside 108 again & again!
