We enjoyed our time here. The condo was great and has everything we needed, even some beach chairs and toys. The room was quiet. We didn’t hear neighbors noise at all. The resort is awesome. My kid loved to pool and walking distance to the ocean. Duke’s restaurant on the property is a plus. Joe (property manager) is very responsive and professional. We loved the food and enjoyed mai tai. We’ll definitely stay here and again and recommend this place to anyone.

Cannot recommend this condo or Honua Kai more! This is the perfect place if you like resort-style amenities but want the spaciousness and privacy of a condo. With two pre-teen/teen girls, having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was priceless. The condo was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and had beautiful views! I loved whale watching right from the amazing lanai. There were binoculars in the tv cabinet, but we could easily see them without as well. Plenty of towels and comfortable beds. The pool areas were perfect for our kids (15 and 12), and they enjoyed playing at the beach as well. We saw 5-6 turtles in the water just down the beach from us. Instructions from Joe were clear and thorough. You will not regret booking this unit!

This condo was paradise. The views were amazing. We often spotted whales in the distance, and it was so nice just to be able to chill on the scenic lanai. Don’t miss this one!!!

This property was an absolute dream! The view, the facilities, the service, the home- all a dream. The plush carpets and big rooms and bathrooms are very welcoming. The kitchen Is well equiped and we were so happy to find beach chairs and boogie boards to use. The BEST part of this property is the EXPANSIVE view of the ocean. Floor to ceiling patio doors that open from wall to wall were a highlight. Breakfast on the lanai was a dream. The linnens were a great quality and even the sofa bed was comfortable. The furnishings are high quality and there were plenty of seating options to kick back and relax. We liked the property so much we hope to visit again. Understandably, there were some adjustments we had to make due to the devastation of the Lahaina fires (shortened hours of operation and one closed pool and limited self parking) but everything went so smoothly. Honua kai is close to Times grocery store and most of the restaraunts were open including the general store/gift store. The grounds are beautifully maintained and right on the gorgeous sandy beach. Dukes restaraunt is right on property and services the pool and all 3 meals. Thanks! We hope to visit again soon.

We could not have been happier with our stay at the Konea on Kaanapali Beach. The unit was luxurious and perfect for two adult couples with master suite for each of us. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The condo is perfectly equipped for cooking and lounging. There were beach chairs, cooler and other beach supplies for kids.
Joe was very helpful, providing us important tips for navigating the airport, car rental, dinner reservations and scheduling activities. He checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed when we checked in. There were no problems during our stay.
This is an awesome location, property and unit hosted by a superb host. We had a 5 star vacation in a 5 star condo.

Our group consisted of two grandparents, one son and his two teen daughters. This 2bdrm/2bath condo fit the bill perfectly!! The building is clean and modern with a parking garage directly below accessed by elevator. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL. Pathways wind from the lobby past koi ponds, gardens, and manicured lawns to your choice of many pools including Quiet (this one is more for lounging quietly - no children or boisterous teens or adults), Winding river boasts a beach style entrance, Family is large with a fun winding pool slide built into the surrounding rock and waterfalls you can swim behind, Family #2 (great for toddlers) with a shallow pool built onto a deeper pool for the parents. There is a small store onsite and Duke's restaurant for food and libations is also onsite near the beach entrance. We also loved the food trucks just outside the entrance. The beach is just a few steps from the building with a boardwalk that runs the whole length of the beach. The condo was roomy, clean, well appointed and has an awesome view of the grounds, pools and beach - the perfect spot to view the sunset. Both bathrooms were large and both had separate shower and tub. Lots of towels!! (Beach towels are available near pools) Includes some snorkel gear, pool floaties, folding chairs, etc. We love coffee and the condo had a very nice Cuisinart pod style maker. It also has a washer and dryer in the unit which is a big plus! I honestly can't say enough about this condo. We will be back!!

This property was exactly what we were hoping for our Maui adventure. It is in a beautiful location. We loved watching whales from our balcony. Snorkeling out on the beach and enjoying the expansive pools was a blast too!

We have traveled to Maui many times and love staying at Honua Kai. This is the first time we stayed at this condo and it was lovely! We enjoyed watching whales off of the balcony every day. The condo was clean, spacious, and had everything that we could have needed. Joe was excellent to work with and responded quickly each time we communicated. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable, clean and well-appointed condo. Appreciated the many provided amenities, just as stated in the listing. The ocean and property views from the expansive lanai were incredible. Easy access to the beach and walkways all the way south to Black Rock and Whalers Village with shopping and oceanside restaurants. Check in and out was easy, and Joe was super helpful and responsive to any questions. My only "complaint" is that we didn't stay long enough!

Beautiful building and property, Great location, Family friendly resort.
Unfortunately the condo was not quite as clean and maintained as promoted, which required taking time away from enjoying family time to deal with issues during the first week of a 2 week stay, that with proper maintenance would not have been an issue. The cookware and lounge chair cushion are in need of a refresh, the condo is showing a bit of wear and tear. Newer carpet that is of good quality already installed.
The balcony is in shade until late in the day during the winter months, great for our family, the other side of the complex gets full sun for the day.
The towel lockers scattered around the property worked great, no need to take towels down to the pool/beach. Washer and dryer in the unit made life simpler for a family staying for an extended rental.
The underground parking is poorly set up, each condo should have a dedicated stall so that after a day out you are not parking blocks away.
Costco Champagne, chocolates and coffee as a welcome gift upon arrival not up to the mark for a rental property in this price range.
All in all a nice condo that requires a bit of attention to get it back to the condition it is promoted as.
The views off of the balcony are incredible!

We have stayed in Kaanapali previously but this room made this visit even better. We spent a ton of time on the balcony enjoying the view (and even a cool lighting storm!) and the bedrooms were very comfortable.

Joe was great to communicate with via email or text. The unit(s) 707 and 703 that our party of 8 stayed in was very clean and beautifully adorned. We had a wonderful view of the pool and water/beach area. The appliances such as the Bosch oven worked fantastic which we enjoyed having a meal at our condo one night. This resort was a family friendly place and there were many young families and children especially poolside. Even though they have a small quiet pool area on the grounds I think if you are a couple looking for a quiet, restful stay, you might look at some of the other resorts.

My husband and I spent the past week here, and I cannot think of a better place to stay. The unit is extremely clean and has everything you need. The view is spectacular and we spent every morning on the lanai drinking coffee and every afternoon with a glass of wine enjoying the picturesque ocean and waves. We even swam with turtles in the water at the beach. I highly recommend staying here in Maui!

Beautiful Resort!
This is our 3rd time staying at the Honua Kai resort. We experienced one of the best locations on the property. The view was amazing! Our condo was well maintained and very comfortable. Perfect for two couples. Loved all of the swimming and beach items available. The only negative item was the very limited parking around the resort. If you went out for supper after 6, when you return there is no parking anywhere near the resort. This was not the case during our previous stays. This is not a fault of our condo owner, but the resort itself. They did not plan well as they were adding all of the townhouses around the resort. We still had a great time though!

Everything you need at Konea 707
We love Honua Kai and this was our 2nd time back at the property, but first time staying at Konea 707. The room had everything we needed -- more than enough space for our group of 6 (beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, pool noodles, and so much more). We were even able to get a loaner travel playpen/crib and high chair (the high chair was dirty upon arrival, but we were able to wipe it down sufficiently). Location is great, next to food trucks and the Time supermarket and right on the beach with an amazing pool. Will definitely be back! Only downside is the price, but we came at peak time. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Beautiful condo with amazing views! Loved having coffee and watching the whales every morning! Glad we rented a car as there aren't a lot of restaurants close by and Duke's on-site always had very long waits. Pools were fantastic and we always found a spot. Condo was very well appointed and had everything we needed. Easy check-in and friendly staff. It was a little hard to find parking if you returned after dinner. Can't wait to return!!

We had such a wonderful stay here. The condo was clean and just the right size for our family. The view from the deck is breathtaking! The kids loved the pools and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach. We would 100% recommend this location.

Great condo and amazing ocean views!!
Property was amazing, very clean and spacious! Check in was fast and simple and Joe the owner of the condo was very nice and responsive!! We really enjoyed our stay, quiet condo, great for relaxing on the lanai to watch the sun set. The view of the pools, ocean and being on the top floor was absolutely beautiful! I definitely will rebook again!

Kid Friendly Property
The property has a beautiful lobby and lots of amenities. The deck has a great view and it was an easy Uber ride to restaurants and attractions. Bring your own pillow because the ones there were horrible and have a big plastic piece in them. Pillow stealers beware you will not be able to pull that off here. Parking was challenging if you cannot get a space in the garage and the beach has no waves and is a bit rocky. Overall good value and the condo was clean and had everything we needed.

Our 10-day stay here was amazing! The unit is super clean, comfortable, and quiet (top floor, baby!). The place is in great condition, and a bonus was the closet with convenient pool/beach gear—boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, etc. But the very best part was the breathtaking ocean view from the balcony! And at night the pool lights and torches look beautiful from up there. The host Joe was very responsive to questions, and he went above and beyond to work around our tricky arrival. We’d be thrilled to stay again.

Beautiful Condo With Amazing View
This condo and resort is beautiful! Joe is very clear and attentive, making the whole process very smooth and easy. The condo is stocked with everything you need for the kitchen, bathrooms, and beach! The beds are very comfortable. The lanai is awesome! Highly recommend.
