House is nice

Unfortunately we could only shower 3 people a night as the hot water ran out and only heats over night which is not ideal when you have more than 3 people. Owners/staff were rude. was accused of opening a locked cupboard when towels were located in a basket above a cupboard not locked. Will only give you 1 towel per stay so if your a hygienic person and change towels every night or every couple of nights prepare to use the same towel for your entire stay. unfortunately there was a misunderstanding as i booked a house that could sleep up to 7, i had only put 4 and had an extra 2 people stay and was threaten to be taken to debit collectors if i didn’t pay the additional, which i never stated i wouldn’t pay was but seeking advise as i have hired airbnbs in the past and never had issues with and extra person staying. there was no understanding from the owners nor where they even nice about it. be sure to make sure you list exactly how many people are saying otherwise expect a unwanted bill and not so nice messages. absolutely no customer service. The house is located on the main street and across the road from a busy pub on weekends so expect lots of noise from trucks and pub.

Location was great. Beds, linen and towels super comfortable. Addition of coffee machine was fantastic and we love the dog area. Kids love the typewriter and the fireplace is lovely!

We would love a washing machine on site, especially with kids!

The beds were incredibly comfortable. The lounge was a great place to chill.

The only thing was no kindling. We were made aware and luckily we had family in the area who could provide us some. probably the only thing I would recommend is if none is going to be provided a suggestion on where some could be obtained would be helpful. it would allow people to get some prior to checking in.

Super clean. Beautiful comfy beds. Very handy to everything. Owners had made sure that there was plenty of little extras.

Had some trouble opening and closing some of the doors obviously due to age of property. Very noisy Friday night with band at the hotel but was very quiet on the other 2 nights.

Lovely old house with lots of character. Great fireplace. Great sized yard.

Strong smell of cigarette smoke (not fireplace). Dog poo in enclosed garden. Nasty stain on duvet cover that was covered with an extra sheet. The noise from the Tavern across the road kept us awake.

Cottage charming, cosy & comfortable. The fireplace drew well & heated the kitchen living room area beautifully, wifi available, tastefully appointed, all the home comforts. Electric blankets. Reverse cycle air con on on arrival, thank you. The best coffee @ the Potting Shed & Commercial hotel, good atmosphere & food. Host accomodating & answered queries promptly. Definitely stay there again. Price reasonable. Bald Rock climb a must as is a visit to Boonoo Boonoo Falls, but go slow, dirt road pot holed but well worth it.

Surprised we had to pay extra for my little Moodle AFTER finalising our booking. Advertised as pet friendly, we found this unusual. Perhaps a refundable bond would be better.
