This was a really good week at the beach - beautiful views and sounds, comfortable furniture and beds, and enough space to enjoy each other - we had 7 adults and a 5-year-old. Another reviewer mentioned the need to update the towels, and we echo that. The only big detractor was a certain lack of cleanliness - found garbage under furniture; dusty along the edges and corners of the floors, the windowsills, etc; and we tried to clean the windows to take better advantage of the views. The owners are wonderful to communicate with when needed. The house feels perfectly secluded while being 5 minutes from all the stores and restaurants of Lincoln City.

The home feels like a remodeled grandma's house - wonderfully retro with comfortable beds and furniture. It strangely felt as if we'd been there before.
It has a nice view of the ocean and close access to public beach entry. The house was clean and tidy, and enjoys two floors with kitchens/restrooms so two families shared it and enjoyed some space.
Only downsides: a very steep driveway with just enough room for a couple of cars - and sensitive neighbors who immediately take a picture of your car if you temporarily park anywhere else. Otherwise, we'll be back for sure!

This is a fabulous house for family or groups. Very cozy, yet has plenty of rooms to spread out in. We were a group of four senior ladies on an annual Girls Trip. It was nice that we each had our own bedroom. Very clean, an exceptionally well stocked pantry with many spices, cooking oil, even coffee and tea! Beautiful views of the ocean and sunset. We booked this house almost a year in advance, and we lucked out with gorgeous weather for our entire stay. It happened to be the week of the Aurora being visable, so an extra bonus! The owner, Nancy, was wonderful to work with, and responded quickly to questions. We would love to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this beach house. It had amazing, uninhibited views of the ocean and it was nice to sit on the deck or balcony and look at the ocean. The house had more rooms and more sleeping options than we anticipated, which was great! There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep. It was nice to have two kitchens - gave us extra fridge and freezer space and a second oven if needed. The furniture and beds were comfortable and everything was clean upon arrival. The host let us check in early and check out late which was awesome and very generous. The only downsides are: the house is on a cliff, does not have a yard and is on a blind corner on the road, so you definitely have to keep an eye out on your kids if they go outside. Beach access is a bit of a hike up and down some hills and down a long staircase. The house is older and had a musty smell, but once we opened windows and aired it out, it was fine. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Beautiful view!
The location was amazing. We even saw whales from the deck. It is an older home, but had lots of room for our family stay!! We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the beds and even the pullout bed. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in their beautiful beach house!!!

Wonderful location and home
We loved our short stay by the beach. This house was great for our family (5 kids) + the in-laws. Wonderful views, lots of space, and about a 1/4 mile from the beach access. The kids loved the tide pools on the beach - the best ones we found on the coast at a public beach.

Nelscott area beach house
Overall impression was good......clean house, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, nice kitchen with everything we needed. However the parking situation is terrible & dangerous Information states no more than 4 cars but that might be possible if all 4 cars are Fiats. We had a Chevy Tahoe & Ford Edge, & we might have been able to squeeze 1 small compact car in ......maybe. The property slopes down to street & falling could be a problem, I myself almost fell twice.

Lincoln City Short Cliff Home
Three of us stayed here very comfortably. The phone of the home does not show the beautiful new ADA access ramp.
This is an older home with basic amenities commensurate with the age of the home, which is very well cared for. The beds (the two we used were topped with memory foam toppers that made sleep sweet and restful. The kitchen served us well for our daily cooked breakfasts.
The sea roared just a short distance in from of the house, making the view breathtaking. We would go back again and again.

Great stay for large groups
Loved the view and all the bedrooms. Wasn't expecting the hide a couch beds to be in private bedrooms- so everyone had a separate bed room. Some updates have been done- needs new flooring throughout. Didn't appreciate the cheapness of: only providing minimal soap/ tp/ paper towels/coffee etc. Also didn't appreciate watered down soap. I can see limiting supplies for someone on a 2-3 week stay, but not providing enough supplies for a 3-4 day stay seems cheap, inconvenient and unrealistic. We did enjoy our stay at the property even though the weather did not cooperate! Would stay there again because of the room available.

Great value stay on the Oregon Coast
The house has a great location with direct ocean/sunset views and quick and easy beach access (via stairs or a quick drive down the block).
We brought a family of 12 with ages from 2 to 70 and it had everything we needed. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, appliances, cooking utensils, etc.
The owner was very easy to work with and even adjusted our itinerary after we discovered a scheduling mistake we had made. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make it a great family vacation.
When we return the Oregon Coast, we will definitely look to rent this house again.

Room to spare and a view to die for.
This property is outstanding! We had a number of couples and single adults with people coming and going throughout the stay but everyone had room to spare and was extremely comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied and then some. The view from the front porch/deck is just amazing! We all plan on meeting up at this property again next year.

Great for family reunion
This place was amazing! It was perfect for our family get together for 12 people! The views from the deck were spectacular and the proximity to the beach and town were convenient. The only complaints (and they are minor and we easily looked passed them) were most of the games were jumbled and/or missing pieces. And the upstairs deck was a little wobbly. We were all content to sit in the downstairs deck and watch the ocean. And we played with same games we brought ourselves. Thank you to the family/owners of the property! We all truly appreciated the time and place together.

This home has amazing views and room to spread out. The 2 refrigerators came in handy as well as the many seating areas.
The walk and stairs to the beach can be a trek but it did not stop us.

West Coast Bliss
Property was as advertised even better, comfortable, relaxing home feel. Great location with great view, close to beach access. It's also half way between Tillamook and Newport(short drives). I have already made a note of this property. Would definitely rent again.

Needs work
The listing was misleading. Not only was it a 1/4 mo walk to the access. There was an extremely lengthy staircase. The place needs updated with a couple big windows, blinds didn’t work properly..couldn’t open them to see out. The place wasn’t very clean and smelled very musty. There were outlets that didnt work. A broken lamp in one of the bedrooms and it didn’t work properly, so of cours I didn’t use it. The deck should be extended around the aid of the house. The entire place needs a thorough cleaning by a professional company. The only thing I did like was the door lock for access. She said she was sending an electrician to look at the outlets, but the guy that showed up was not able to go the problem. He said they need to hire an electrician. I will not rent this place again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Great View
First off view is amazing. Every morning I ate breakfast while looking at the beach. Communication was good. Under the couches and couch cushions could have been cleaned, but other than that it was great. Great central location 30 mins south and you’re in New Port, 40 mins north and you’re in Tillamook. Will most likely rent this house again for a future vacation.

The beach in all its glory.
The renting process was extremely easy and the property owner is amazing; from correspondence related to the property, to sending maps high lighting attractions around the area. The house it's self reminds me of the comforts of grandmas house spacious enough to have fun yet not so big to where there's wasted space. The house is of older craftsmanship but captures the beauty of the era the house has tons of windows so spectators can be captivated by spectacular views of the ocean, property is centrally located along Lincoln City coast line and is surrounded by public use beach access to the north and south of property. I can't wait to stay again thank you for the great weekend get away

The property: Must see to believe! Location is amazing! Right on the ocean! two access close by very quiet area. With a BBQ grill and porch to sit on.
The house: We had a small wedding in a near by. But put both families in this house. We had 7 people total and everyone was very comfey and every person said they loved the beds and they were nice! The bride to be used the upstairs for the prep for the wedding where the views and the open of the area helped keep her nerves calm!

Beach Getaway
Our whole experience was wonderful. The property manager was incredibly quick with responses to my questions. The beach was a quick walk away, the views from both decks spectacular. The house was clean and spacious. My kids enjoyed going to the kitchen/living room upstairs to watch TV and play the games they had available. The next time we go to Lincoln City this will definitely be the house we stay at!!
