Well equiped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Nice deck with view of columbia river and mt. Adams. Quiet neighborhood with easy walk to downtown and grocery. One improvement would be to add a second fan unit downstairs to the split heat pump system. The lower bedroom can get hot in summer. Also need more comfortable deck chairs. We brought our own.

We were in town to make my husband’s dream of trying out wind sports in Hood River into reality and this was the perfect base camp for making that happen. The house is close to just about everything, and the river view is unbeatable.

Convenient walk to downtown Hood River. The house is stocked for convenience. We have stayed here multiple times and love this place. The views of the river and Mount Adams are spectacular.

This place was clean, but worn out. The sofa is so worn it feels like one is sitting on the floor. The outside has zero landscaping and the building is in desperate need of paint. The windows are dirty. For such a great view this place could be spectacular. It needs some work.

The Columbia Tree House was located very close, walking distance to downtown Hood River. This VRBO offered an excellent view of the Columbia River. We spent a lot of time just lounging on the back deck enjoying the great weather and the tremendous view of the river. I would stay here again.

Just 10 blocks from historic Hood River, beautiful old buildings and very nice shops. Easy drive to the waterfalls or east to The Dalles area. The Mt Hood loop is a must see as well.

Beautiful place near downtown Hood River.
Brian was super friendly and easy to communicate with. I’m sure if any issues had come up, he would have been on top of things. Awesome views from the deck. The open layout was fun for our short stay. It kept everyone together. The enclosed yard and deck were great for our dog as well.

Disappointed In Condition Of House
This house has not been kept up and is in need of repairs. This house was not worth any where close to what we paid per night . The furniture was very worn, porch swing arm broken, numerous pavers on side of house broken and a safety hazard, kitchen garbage drawer would not stay closed, towels and sheets with large bleach stains, multiple broken window cranks, exposed wires protruding from walls, wood patch of sizable hole in concrete floor in master bath covered by throw rug, broken office chair in upstairs office nook, leak under kitchen sink with plastic bin catching the leak, etc.

Amazing view. Great location (walking distance to town center and the river). Kitchen fully equipped. Clean. Note: master bedroom is a loft (which provides a full view of Mt. Adams), but not private in terms of sound.

Tree-rific!
We absolutely loved our time at the treehouse! Brian was very helpful, instructions for our stay were clear. It was perfect for our group of 4 on a Mother's Day gathering. The view is exceptional. Would love to visit in every season! We highly recommend this little peice of heaven in Hood River.

Beautiful view and great location
Our stay at Brian’s home was just what we were looking for. We could zip right onto the highway to Mt hood to go ski, come home and be within minutes of restaurants, all with the most beautiful view. We ended up mostly staying in and cooking and just enjoying the cozy home. I honestly didn’t want to leave when we had to check out! The fact that he was dog friendly was a deal breaker for us. We will definitely stay here again for our next ski trip!

We started every day with coffee in front of the wall of windows, enchanted by the ever-changing views of the Columbia and Mount Adams! That’s what I’ll remember the most. The house itself was very comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. We has everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Amazing day time and night time views!
The large north facing windows proved for amazing views of Mount Adams and the Columbia River an almost full moon rising was an extra treat! We rose early Saturday morning to do some duck hunting and came back to relax and watched wind and kite surfers on a very crisp November afternoon. The only suggestion I would have for this property is a knew comfy sofa, we tried to sit together and watch a movie in the evening after our long day of exploring and the cushions kept sliding off the sofa.

Very charming spot with a great location and killer views. We enjoyed watching the activity on the river and getting peek-a-boo glimpses of Mt. Adams. The trees were in color and the entire experience was lovely. We appreciated our welcome bottle of wine from host, Brian. It was the perfect 3 night get-away. We'll be back!

The view from the Columbia Treehouse is priceless... the River, the hills of Washington, and Mt Adams front and center... priceless. The house is very comfortable for 2 couples, although the upstairs bedroom is open to downstairs, so little privacy... not a bad thing necessarily, but something to be aware of. We would stay there again if Brian would have us.

The treehouse was a lovely and open space with a friendly vibe. Brian even checked in to make sure we had everything needed. Great stay for a couple days with coffee on the deck. My dog and I will definitely look to stay here again if in Hood River.
