Home that is in a perfect area.

Was a perfect homebase for a week of hikes in Glacier.

Overall, we had a wonderful time! Super cute house. Didn't hear any outside noise at night. Our only complaint was the ac unit was a bit loud for the person sleeping on the pull out sofa. A great place to stay!

This rental was well provided with all our needs. Conveniently located within 5 blocks or so of the action in the restaurant and shops downtown. The only downside was the aisle to one side of the bed was narrow and a bit difficult. Thanks!

This place was great! It was nicely appointed and immaculate. The location couldn't have been better. We did not bother with a car, and we could walk all around and enjoy whitefish. I would highly recommend it.

Wouldn't recommend more than two people because of the narrowness and location of the bathroom inside the bedroom. Great location walkable to town and other amenities. Very quiet except for the late night , slow rumbles of the freight trains passing nearby. Well-stocked kitchen with all the necessities

If 5 is the top rating, we rank Walkers Cottage 5. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot almost instantly. Convenience to the songwriter festival downtown was superb. Could have used an ice cube tray. We'd stay there again!!

Very nice cottage
This was perfect for a couple. Easy to get anywhere downtown. Parking on the street but an alley next to the front door to load and unload luggage. It could benefit from a few more normal size wine glasses and some smaller glasses for adult beverages. Other than that - it was a great place

Small gem
This is a wonderful place to stay! It’s small, but very nicely laid out, super comfortable and well- appointed. Downtown is only three to five minutes away by foot. I definitely hope to be back. I can see 1-2 people working well in the house; for me, 3-4 is doable, but you’ll be very close together and there’s quite limited storage space for clothes. Anyone sleeping on the couch in the living room will need to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom and that’s a bit of a tight squeeze Someone else commented they found the bathroom and shower tight; I found it small, but comfortable. Anyway, a great little place.

Wonderful stay!
We stayed at Walkers Cottage for 5 nights. The location was great- very short walk to town and quiet neighborhood. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you would need and very comfortable for two people (and all our snow gear). Would definitely stay here again and even made friends with the local deer family that hang around the area.

Great place for short stay
Well-located in an area that seems to be undergoing some gentrification. Felt very safe and was only a few blocks from the town center. We were in town for 3 days. If staying longer we would have needed a washer/dryer in order to recycle and resume our cycling kit. This was the only deficiency with this property. Note that access to the bathroom is very narrow. I am currently on crutches and had to try and crutch sideways. Would be impossible for anyone in a wheelchair. Also steps up to front door.

Great Location, Short on Space
If its important to you to be in the heart of Whitefish, like just 3 blocks from restaurants and shopping you should consider this property. The small home looks essentially new and has all the amenities you will need. However I would not recommend it for more than 2 adults and it might be stretch to even include small children. Every inch of the place is used so there is no storage. Luggage will be just sitting on the floor or left in the car. Also, while it isn't a big deal, there isn't dedicated parking so the ad says up to 2 cars, its street parking - but the entire time we were there the street was virtually empty.
So I would say, if you are single or just a couple, and you pack light, you want to be close to everything in Whitefish (including traffic) then for the price, this is a great choice.

Nice but not for us
I didn’t see the pix with stairs to entry or I would have booked else where. We are in our 80’s and stairs are very difficult. The cost of the place should include a higher grade TP. The bedroom and bathroom were very small; again maneuvering was hard. The TV quit working and the couch was not suitable to sit on bc of the sagging. The two red chairs were the saving grace for us.

Perfect honeymoon stay!
I typically dont write reviews, but I couldnt help but write one for our perfect stay for our honeymoon! This place was wonderful for us and was so close to downtown whitefish! We walked to downtown every single day. I wasn't sure how it would be visiting in March, but there was so much to do! My husband and I went snowshoeing, snowmobiling, toured Glacier National park and enjoyed fun breweries in downtown. This place couldnt have been more amazing for our honeymoon. Thankful this was where we made this one in a lifetime memory!!

Wonderful Location Downtown
Terrific, convenient downtown Whitefish location. Aptly named as walking was easy even in mid-winter. So many fun shops and restaurants nearby, as well as the bus that takes you to the Base Lodge at the resort. Cottage was cozy and clean, modern - perfect for my solo getaway from real life!! I'll be back.
