This is a penthouse apartment, it is massive, with 3 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and your very own sauna. It was very clean, well decorated and easily accessible (if you own a car). It comes with two parking spaces in a parking garage. Furthermore, it is surrounded by nature and some other apartments. It comes with all amenities you need and want. Just across the road, there's a spa hotel, where for an additional fee, you can use a swimming pool and a gym. There's also a restaurant there which serves breakfasts as well. Gym and spa were only opened from 14:00.

Check in is all done through codes (there's a code you receive via email how to unlock the door to the penthouse), but the door mechanism wasn't working properly, so eventually we had to use a key. The instructions where to find a key, were not available, we accidentally figured out...it's like an escape room, but the other way around...lol. Also, because the penthouse is massive, there are several thermostats for heating around it, and it takes a while to figure out how to regulate the temperature. Maybe we were just a bit daft, or maybe it would be useful if there's a person checking you in.

I really wasn't sure what to expect, the pictures looked amazing when I booked it, but I didn't know if it would live up to expectations. It absolutely blew me away! Before our arrival we received an email with the door key code and we were in. Set on two main floors, bedrooms on first, living area on the second - this place is utterly remarkable. We were a group of 6 traveling to Poiana Brasov for the skiing during Feb half term, it could have easily slept more with the sofas turning into beds and two further (quality) camp beds in a utility room. Everything about this property is spectacular, first class, absolutely remarkable. It was the perfect pad for our skiing trip. It allowed us to live the millionaire lifestyle for a few days. I will definitely be going back in the future. The cost wasn't high per person given we were a party of 6, but if you want amazing quality, pay the rate and you'll instantly be rewarded. From cooking facilities to poker chips, Netflix to huge bathrooms, this property has the lot. If you are skiing or just visiting Poiana Brasov and want to experience a genuine luxury penthouse, book A50 Cape Town. I STRONGLY recommend it, I long to go back.

The property has absolutely everything you will need for your visit. Plenty of cleaning spare bedding, towels even a sauna. I genuinely can't find fault. If I had to list anything here, I would say the property was a bit warm for us with underfloor heating and amazing central heating, but naturally each visitor can pick their own level. Silver Mountain is not in the heart of Poiana Brasov, it is about 10 mins away from the main ski lifts, which some people might not like. However, the complex is serviced by the No60 bus which run twice an hour to the ski lifts and town centre. It is a genuinely dependable service running like clock work and was free for us to use with our ski passes - because it was so reliable and free, it was far better than a taxi. Stay here and you won't regret it.

Very large and cosy apartment. It was our second visit and we found ii improved with a sauna, a good coffee machine and some design details.

We found it not so clean this time. Also, the furniture on the balcony is not enough for more than 3 guests.
