I very seldom do reviews, but this place is worth a word. Perfect trip. This house is right on the beach and close to all the restaurants and shops in Galveston. It's not a five star hotel, but that is not what we wanted. We wanted an affordable house in the beach and this is it.
There is a "beach access" public area nearby but we liked that for people watching. Most of the beach in this area is restricted from cars so staying in a house on the beach was very convenient. Beach was never crowded.
Beds were comfortable, we all slept well.
We liked to watch the olympics and TV was a little limited but if you have a streaming device the internet connectivity was very strong.
Owners were very responsive. We had a question so we sent an email and they called us back in about a minute. They were very friendly and responsive. So, if you have a concern, don't hesitate to contact them.
Our son recently moved to Galveston. This will be our "go to" place when we go to see him. I don't have anything to say but "Good!". Thanks for making this place available.

My husband and I spent a great long weekend at this property. Small hiccup upon arrival as we hadn’t received the email with instruction but the owner was easily reachable and provided the information immediately. Power went out while there but it was island wide and again the owner was great about communicating with us. Location is great and the home had everything we needed. Overall a great get away!

We stayed during tropical storm Alberto, and the tide got up to the house. When we could move our cars there wasn't much of a place to go. We ended up parking a street back. The driveway was pretty rough when we arrived but after the storm it is unusable. The house is great, right on the beach. We will stay again.

The beach house was so charming and very clean. Super easy checking into the hm. Loved the beachy decore inside and out. Plenty of room and those big chairs on the porch gave us hours of relax time with family just listening to the waves and watching the different birds flying up and down the beach. There was even a wild rabbit that hung out below. Despite being a beach drivable access we didnt experience alot of traffic or noise outside of kids playing. There was a bit of seaweed and debris washed up and some mosquitos but to be expected on Galveston. Met super friendly people and even enjoyed watching as they fi🐟ed and play soccer on the beach which is just skip to get down to. Overall a great stay. Shout out to our host John for the much appreciated efforts and multiple texting in locating a special mom blanket we had left behind. Many thanks.

Needed a quick get away for a birthday party and this place was perfect. Steps to the beach and lots of outdoor space. Very accommodating to the addition of extra people to spend the night and gathering during the day.

The location is great, we had cloudy days but that doesnt matter if you appreciate the ocean. While i understand beach homes are exposed to the elements, the home definetly shows its age, our main issue was the rusted screws because of our 2 yo walking around outside.

The property was perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable. The home was clean. We loved being directly on the beach and just being able to sit on the porch and watch the waves. Directly in front of the property is one of the public beach access locations, so there was a lot of cars and noise from people coming in and out throughout the day and evening. But we were able to walk to the section of the beach where vehicles are not allowed and had plenty of room to play and relax. Just know that the public part of the beach is busy in the weekend.

We LOVED staying here! The beach was literally steps away from the house! The home was beachy/cottage-like, as pictured online. We did not need fancy. So this was perfect! The deck could use a little maintenance/updating…maybe just a good ole paint job. Overall, the perfect fit for our family for a week. We are definitely planning to return!

3 generations plus our dog, all had a great time. The view and beach access its simply unbeatable. Only two very minor issues (Safety alarm battery in bedroom needs to be replaced, outside could really use a hammock for sun bathing). But we had an awesome time and will be back soon

A wow moment from the minute you pull into the driveway. We really enjoyed our stay and would come definitely come back again. The only thing that could make this place better is a swing or hammock outside to relax and enjoy the waves.

You are so close to the beach that you can hear and smell the water. We enjoyed the large deck that overlooks the waves and the large living/dining room for hosting classmates. The kitchen was just the right size and well appointed for our group.

We have stayed at several different places in Galveston. This is by far the best. View of the ocean is amazing and the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Property was clean and as advertised inthe pictures. Loved having the open lot to the left as it greatly increased our view. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Hosts were friendly and responded to questions quickly. Will definitely rebook this property next time we are in the area.

It was nice. View cannot be overrated. Its simply wonderful. Walking on the beach is pleasant. We stayed in the front room our entire stay.
Excellent outdoor dining on the Strand in Galveston. Back neighbors put a bit of a damper on roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over a small fire in fire pit.
I can only guess they've had issues in the past.
Overall experience was very nice.

Great view and location. The house is very comfortable. The only very small issue is that the main bath shower needs to be addressed as the shower diverter is not working properly. Comfortable beds as well and well appointed.

Perfect little getaway at an amazing house. The house was so unique and decorated with such passion. You can spend a good amount of time just looking at all the decorations...goes so well with the whole atmosphere!! We loved it!!!

We stayed four nights over New Years which also is our Anniversary. Comfortable hangout to watch the sea, walk on beach and enjoy life. The public parking area was on beach in front but this time of year not an issue and made for some good people watching. Just steps to the right to be off the parking area.

Had to visit Galveston on a short business trip and decided to take family for a little r&r at the beach.Location was excellent, close to town but far enough away to also get some very relaxing evenings in on the great view, beach front balcony. Had one little issue and the owner was very responsive in resolution. We even stayed an extra day and enjoyed one last evening listening to the waves and walking on the beach. It is Texas, so do take your mosquito spray. Would definitely stay again. House was clean ,beds were comfortable.

October beach was much cooler temperatures, but we were able to get in the water. It was just cold when you got out for a minute. The property was awesome, the back porch was amazing.
The only thing I wish I had brought was pillows because their pillows are older, and the beds are not very comfortable, older memory foam.
Outdoor shower sprays over your head, but hey, THERES AN OUTDOOR SHOWER! Has hot water as well, which is amazing, but had to use a bucket to get the kids cleaned off. Please install a shower head to save water and be amazing!
Overall, super comfortable house, GREAT location! WiFi, TV, games all provided. Also, some leftover sand toys were already there. Pet friendly, but was very clean! I would stay here again, because you can go out for one hour, come back, and go back out. When you have kids that can be such a pain if you have to load up every time.
