Woods Cabin, secluded with hot tub

We absolutely loved this location, it was quiet and secluded which was exactly what we were looking for!! Short drive times to visiting parks and caves, also has its own hiking trails at the location. Very intimate and beautiful!!

Super secluded, had everything we needed right there at the cabin and even when we did need something the town wasn't even that far. I loved the on site trails, the privacy, and the peaceful atmosphere. Will totally come again!

Hocking Hills has been on our bucket list for a few years. This is the year we put together a plan. Communication with the owner was excellent! She was very accessible whenever we had a question. We chose Woods Cabin as there was only two of us. There was a map of trails that were on the property that we could walk. We were also given/sent a lot of information on Hiking, Attractions, Restaurants, Grocery Stores and Hocking Hill State Park. We chose a few cave hikes and a major hike at Conkles Hollow. We planned campfires/cookouts each night. We visited the local Antique Mall. It was all very enjoyable and we actually ran out of time before we ran out of things to do!

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful cabin with a hot tub. We especially enjoyed how peaceful the area was and seeing all the wildlife. You wake up have your coffee with the deer right outside your door. I definitely recommend the Woods cabin and will be staying there again soon.

The cabin in the woods was beyond amazing. Hot tub was perfect in every way, even the morning we left as it had frosted that morning but we still jumped in and enjoyed the heat with the cold at our heads.
Definitely recommend for a couple only, not enough room for three.

The Woods cabin was just what we wanted for a get away retreat. The cabin is cozy, we enjoyed the wonderful hot tub and surrounding hiking trails!
Booking the cabin was easy and the hosts provided information and directions to make check-in and departure effortless. They provided local information for attractions and trails nearby that came in extremely helpful.
We recommend the Cabins at Hickory Ridge and look forward to returning to our new favorite getaway spot! :)

We loved the secluded feeling. It rained a lot during our stay, but the cabin was the PERFECT cozy hangout. We appreciated being able to have the football games on TV, but we were also entertained by deer and turkeys that came around in the morning. It IS fall, and true to its name, some acorns fell on the roof throughout the night, so if you’re a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs, but I loved falling asleep listening to the rain in such a comfortable bed.
Check-in was seamless. Check-out/cleaning requests were all typical and very reasonable.
We have stayed at a few different cabins in the area over the years but this one may be my current favorite.

This cabin was so cute and cozy, very secluded from other people! The place was very clean, and just as pictured! We loved our stay and enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit at nights! You will love your stay at The Woods Cabin. We hope to come again in the future!

This property was better than expected, the hot tub is nearly new and very clean, the cabin itself was very clean, the grill is a park model and very well built. It was the little things that we noticed that made a big difference to us.

Great location, nice little cabin! The only thing that would have made it better was if the security light on the circular drive that came on every evening was turned off. Having that light shine in our faces while sitting on the side porch or around the campfire was annoying.

Location was everything I wanted it to be -- quiet and secluded, and not far from everything we wanted to see. The cabin was clean and modern. I would gladly stay here again.
Pro tip: it's so quiet that something like a raccoon walking through the woods nearby at 2am can convince you that there's a person out there. If you're going to hit the hot tub late at night, take a flashlight out for reassurance. :)

Cabin is made for 2. It was quiet,secluded and clean. Just the trees and birds while lounging in the hot tub. Internet was available and reliable.Walked on one trail. Built fire and roasted marshmallows. Marshmallow sticks and lighter available. Wood to buy was available at cabin we brought our own but I think I’d take advantage of delivery next time. Bed comfortable. We did no cooking. Restaurants a little bit of a drive. Spent 2days which I’d recommend to really wind down.

It is very private , there are some trails under construction on the property, the other rentals on this property (2) you can only see as you drive passed them as you go to the top of this property where The Woods Cabin is located

This is truly a cozy cabin, small but intimate. We enjoyed our stay and the coziness was surprisingly enjoyable. The hot tub was great and functioned better than our previous cabin. Thanks!

We had a fantastic time - This cute little cabin does all the little things right! check in was easy and the hosts do everything they can to make the amenities easy to find/use. A pleasant surprise was a lot of nice unexpected touches and fine details.

Everything you may need is there except for your food. It's a wonderful secluded cabin if u want to be alone with no one around. Has some nice hiking trails. Very clean.

Tucked away on top of a tree-filled hill, this cozy cabin is the perfect getaway for a couple who are looking to reconnect and relax! The queen sized bed is very comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen are very clean and have everything you need. The selling point is the covered back deck that holds a hot tub for a little relaxation after a long day on the trails.

We have stayed in hocking hills before but this is by far the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. The hot tub was so nice We are looking to purchase one for our home. We never left the property. We hiked the trails, enjoyed the beautiful property and star gazed at night. Thank you for allowing us to spend our 32nd anniversary at your home. We will be back, Nick & Judy

The Woods Cabin will not disappoint! Clean, comfortable & relaxing with all the amenities described by the host and more! If you’re looking for a beautiful, secluded, romantic cabin for a few days, this is the place! Off the beaten path, but close enough to Logan if you need to run to town or want to grab a great meal at Jack’s Steak House! Close to Old Man’s Cave if you wish to take day excursion, although there are a couple of trails surrounding the property, nice for a leisurely walk in the woods! Highly recommend to anyone for a quiet, secluded getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! From a firestarter to bug spray to ziploc bags, the owners thought of everything you would need for your time in the woods. Uma was super-responsive to texts throughout the week and always let us know in advance when the cleaning person would arrive. The cabin was spotless, and very remote. We loved our evening soaks in the hot tub and reading on the screened in porch!

This cabin is very clean, cozy and offers a ton of privacy. Loved the covered hot tub and screened porch. We walked some of the trails around the cabin too. Highly recommended for a relaxing retreat!

Cabin was perfect for me & my husband. Check in process was super easy. The owners are very nice and responsive to questions. The cabin had everything we needed and very clean. Wish we had a few more towels but we managed. Spent a lot of time in the hot. Had a wonderful time. Very quiet and secluded. Just what we wanted. Looking at one of their larger properties for a family vacation.

Perfect private cabin in the woods
We had an amazing time with the cabin in the woods. If you are looking for privacy, this is it. You are completely in the woods, so its fully shaded. The cabin is fully furnished, except for a washer and dryer. Not too far from hiking trails/ stores. When needed to communicate, the ownersresponded right away. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing, peaceful getaway.
