We absolutely loved our stay at the HeavenLee By the Sea! The condo was perfect for our family of four, comfy (both the beds and the couches), lots of space, clean, anything you need in the kitchen, and access to the beach chairs/toys was such a nice perk! We loved the patio area and ate almost all of our meals/played games outside every day. We had some questions about the unit before our stay, and a question about the door upon arrival, and the owners answered right away each time - great communication! The pool was clean and easy to access, and the beach is only steps away.
As for the island - Topsail was the perfect beach destination! It has a very “local island” feel to it. Great restaurants, beaches aren’t over-crowded, and very family-friendly. We hope to come back again!!

It was in the prime central location with plenty of parking and a jolly condo staff member who greeted us when we came in and out of the property.
The lock on the door gets stuck, but once you know the trick it never fails.
We were bummed that the lock on the storage room full of beach toys was rusted shut...we rented this place because of the beach toys and never got to use them.
The pool was fun, we loved the zero entry and plenty of seats.
We found some sea glass, sharks teeth, a pirate shipwreck and some turtle nests all on the beach close to the condo.
We'd come again for sure!

Memorial Day Weekend at the beach was amazing! Property is fully-stocked, conveniently located with a fantastic porch! The beach was beautiful, easy to get on and off with a nice shower to wash off all the sand! Would definitely rent this place again!

The unit was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen was well appointed and the covered parking and storage closet full of beach items were nice touches. We enjoyed the pool after a long day at the beach as well. We had one issue with the lock and the owners were extremely helpful with troubleshooting the issue. We'd definitely stay here again!

The condo was extremely clean and very nice. We had a great time and it was right on the beach. I wish it was a bit closer to the shops and restaurants, but if you want a bit more quiet and relaxation this is perfect! The property manager was always available to help, as we had a few issues with the door code. We will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful time in the condo. Location is awesome in that you don’t cross any roads to get to the beach. The space is perfect for a couple or small family and very well equipped. WiFi can be a bit ornery at times but if patient it will work. All in all an excellent stay that was very quiet and peaceful

We really enjoyed this rental. Was very well stocked to include shampoo and conditioner. Had all the cooking supplies you want to make meals. Kid friendly made it cozy. Was very clean. 2 adults and 2 kids so space was just right. Walk to beach was easy. End unit gave added privacy. Highly recommend this rental.

This was our first time booking through VRBO and was a bit nervous but Shannon was absolutely amazing!! She was quick to answer all my questions and extremely helpful. The condo is very clean and provides all the kitchen amenities you need. Location was great since we were so close to everything. We will definitely stay here again.

The condo more than met our expectations: although it does not front on the ocean it is a short walk away completely within the property itself. And the beach is one of the best in the area. Shannon and her husband responded to all of my questions and concerns promptly. The only minor issues were the bed (memory foam that was a bit uncomfortable for us) and bedroom shutters that we had to cover to block out the morning light. These were minor things that did not distract from our great enjoyment of the place and we would gladly stay there again.

This place was perfect to stay. The location is only about a mile from the “surf city restaurants and shops”. The condo has a great view of the pool and you can hear the waves on the beach. It’s difficult to see the beach due to the sand dunes. There is a nice pier that makes accessing the beach with your wagon and cooler much easier. The balcony is so nice to sit in the evening and play games or just relax. The condo complex is quiet. The pool is big enough for the kids playing as well as the adults who want some space. The condo itself is very well maintained. The two bunk beds in the hallway were a good use of space. The kitchen was very well supplied with the exception of missing a blender. The owners were very responsive to messages. The storage unit below the condo was perfect to not drag chairs and umbrellas upstairs. It also seemed very well stocked with things to borrow.
Overall this was a fantastic place to stay and we had a very relaxing few days! The only negative I could think of would be the WiFi. That is a condominium issue not owner issue. It would disconnect and continue trying to reconnect. Very spotty most of the time.

Our family of four had an awesome vacation. The condo was completely turn-key with everything provided and then some.
Just needed to buy groceries (there's a Publix, Walmart & Food Lion just off the island). This was our first trip to Top Sail Island which was pleasantly less crowded and touristy than places like Myrtle Beach. It's more of a relax at the beach and pool vacation rather than putt-putt golf and go-carts every other block. Both the beach and pool were very nice and clean. We also did not have a bad meal when it came to dining out. Shaka Taco (local favorite & very busy), Highwaters Sports Bar & Grill and Coastal Wings & Spirits were all very good with a lot variety. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This condo had more than we could have asked for. The owners have thought of everything you could need to have a wonderful stay. We had plenty of room and we were very comfortable. My children enjoyed the boogie boards and sand toys. I can’t wait to hopefully return again soon! Thanks for an unforgettable first family vacation to the beach!

Our family just finished a 4 night stay in unit #518 of the Surf Condos, and we had a great time! The unit was clean, really nicely renovated, and a great setup for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids) including 2 bunk beads. Our kids loved piling in the bottom bunk and watching Netflix after playing all day on the beach. The condo location is great, as it's a short walk to the beach, and there are some good local eats nearby. Lastly, the owners were very communicative throughout the process. We'll definitely be back in the future!

I was contacted by the property manager within two hours due to complaints of a large crowd. My sister in law was staying two units down and my uncle was staying a mile down the beach. We found a baby cockroach in the bathroom however, it was only one. It most likely came in from outside because they were everywhere. The bed had a dip on one side so my boyfriend was extremely uncomfortable. The unit had a washer and dryer which was great, as well as toys for kids. There was also a shed with beach items you could use. However this wasn’t communicated until we had already left for the beach so we over packed… haven’t heard anything about the refundable security deposit and the unit was left as found. The property’s pool doesn’t allow swimming after 8 which was so disappointing.

We had a great time at this very comfortable and welcoming place and would gladly return. The kitchen is well-equipped and the balcony is perfect for sitting and reading. We had only two very minor complaints. Because four adults were trying to socially distance we used all the beds (bedroom, bunks, and sofa bed) and there weren’t enough blankets. One person had to use beach towels. Also, we were never able to get the WiFi to connect on our phones or laptops. It wasn’t really a problem for such a short stay but if we were coming and staying longer and having to do work from the condo (which we’d like to do) it would be hard. Overall a fantastic place that we would recommend!
