Amazing views in the heart of Luberon , AC throughout & heated pool for 10

Such a great villa which can accommodate multiple family and friends. The view is fantastic and the location means you have peace and quiet to relax and enjoy the pool whilst still only being about 20 minutes for multiple restaurants. Would definitely recommend it.

This beautiful property provided the perfect setting for our family stay in Luberon. Scenic views, spacious bedrooms and living areas, an excellent swimming pool and well maintained grounds in total privacy. We just might have to return.

Loved the house, very comfortable and spacious , well located for a Luberon holiday. Great concierge service and a very helpful and pleasant owner all contributed to one of our best stays in the area - and we have been visiting for 20 years. Thank you

The property is lovely - beautiful expansive views of the Luberon region, stunning pool, well kept gardens and grass. The home is very spacious and really nice that each bedroom has it’s own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner is very responsive and the property is extremely well managed. We had a fantastic time and loved staying at this property and doing day excursions.

We enjoyed our time in this spacious home with a beautiful pool area.
As a family of 5 (with teens), we stayed in the house for the last week of August, which I realise is right at the end of the summer period. The house is generally well equipped, the pool is large and terrace is lovely, it is set on a big plot and our small dog enjoyed running about safely.
The house is well laid out though, slightly tired. The oven in the kitchen needs attention, as does the the dryer and the external doors, all fitted with mosquito nets, need fixing. Mosquito nets are definitely necessary and unfortunately they were not functioning correctly.
The agent who manages the property was great, very helpful and aimed to get the nets fixed during our stay, though we declined her offer, given this was in the last few days of our holiday and wanted to be left in peace.
All in all, it’s a lovely house and with some TLC, will be brought up to standard.
The surrounding areas and villages are incredibly beautiful and the house location meant that we were well positioned to explore the Luberon Valley.

We absolutely loved our stay in the magnificent Villa Manon. The house is wonderful, pool divine, and we loved the location. Far enough away to feel private and remote, but within a 10-15 minute drive you could get anything you wanted from gourmet restaurants to fabulous bakeries, butchers, fish mongers, huge grocery stores. Plus there are markets every day of the week nearby.
Communication with Francoise and the excellent property managers was pleasant and immediate.
Francoise provided us with tons of suggestions of places to go, recommended restaurants and markets/stores.
The beds were all comfortable. All of our guests commented on how comfy the rooms were.
We should also mention that the windows have bug screens, which not all properties have. It was a huge bonus. The massive windows also had fantastic black-out screens in the main house, so sleeping in was a pleasure! The pool was perfectly heated. All of the bedrooms had AC, which really came in handy when nights became steamy.
We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful month of June! Thank you, Francoise!

Villa Manon is the perfect house for a group of friends or a large family. The indoor spaces are as described and the pool is even more magical than pictured. The separated bedrooms with en suite bathrooms were ideal. We truly enjoyed the petanque court and although it was an item we filtered houses to include, we all agreed that our daily games that evolved to a tournament were an especially unique highlight to our week.
The location is perfect for the exploration of various hilltowns and the town of Coustellet with its grocery stores, pharmacy, gas, and ATM is an easy drive.
The onsite manager, Herve, was great. He was reachable as we navigated the summer traffic on arrival day and when we needed to reach him for a few typical house issues.
Some of our favorite restaurants included the following: (advance reservations i.e. 2+ weeks were important given our peak Summer season stay)
L’Outsider in Gordes (for dinner)
Les Lavandes in Sault (for lunch)
Le Carillon in Goult (for lunch on Market Day - Thursday)
Some of our favorite activities in the area included the following:
Coustellet Farmers Market on Sunday which included Cave de Lumiere wine tasting - this was one of the best markets after visiting many over our two week trip in Provence and Tuscany (go by 8am …it was hot and crowded by 10)
Cave de Bonnieux wine tasting
Chateau Carnogue wine tasting (you must watch “The Good Year” with Russell Crowe which was filmed here and in other locations in Cucuron, Gordes, and Menerbes)
Chateau Pesquie wine tasting and picnic in Moirmoron - so worth the 45 minute drive (order the picnic for $25 per person in advance - it was one of our favorite days
Chateau Lourmarin classical concert and picnic on the terrace (Thursday evenings - buy tickets in advance)

A fabulous property!
Everything at Villa Manon was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The great house, lovely terrace, beautiful pool, and gorgeous view cannot be topped. The property manager was extremely helpful and we are so glad we took advantage of his suggestion to have a local chef come and prepare a Provençal meal for us. It was a special meal and evening. We were so sorry to have to leave and will certainly plan to return. We greatly appreciated the owner’s flexibility in dealing with the issues created by COVID. Merci beaucoup!

So hard to leave such a beautiful place.
We just finished a beautiful weeks stay at Villa Manon that was amazing from the first step we took inside the doors. I had read all the reviews online before I chose the location and I was very happy that everyone was correct about this amazing property. We were a group of 3 couples and were very impressed with the fact that all 3 bedrooms in the main house were master bedrooms equipped with king size beds and ensuite bathrooms making it very easy to spend your week in either room and be happy. We loved the fact that you could eat dinner in different locations, kitchen for the very casual evening, dining room for a more formal night, but mostly we had our meals on the terrace by the pool that has a beautiful covered area, stunning with and a table that could sit up to 12 or more. The location was so convenient for visiting different villages, market after market were all so close to us. We did not have to think of anything all week except for enjoying ourselves. Thank you Francoise for your suggestions on restaurants and a cook that we were able to hire who cooked us a delicious dinner and made sure we could enjoy our time with our guests without having to think about anything from groceries to cleanup, a wonderful night. I hope to return to the area in the future to do some more exploring and will be hoping I can stay at Villa Manon again, I don't think I could ever find a place more perfect. Thank you again Francoise and Pascal for making your home so inviting.

A beautiful place for a family holiday!
We had the most magical stay at Villa Manon, it is such a special place! The house is airy and spacious - we were 8 adults and 2 children and never felt remotely cramped. The terrace by the pool was a beautiful place to gather and relax and take in the remarkable view of the countryside, but there were lots of other balconies and nooks for those seeking a bit of privacy and quiet. The bedrooms are all large and the air conditioning is a real gift on the warm evenings. The kitchen is large and well stocked for keen cooks. The house is perfectly located for exploring nearby towns of Goult and Gordes and many other small, beautiful villages in the region. Avignon was a very easy day trip too. We could have easily stayed three times as long and not run out of things to explore! Importantly, the support and helpful information we received from the house manager and the property owner was invaluable - they were so approachable, kind and generous, which made for a very happy and smooth holiday!

Great house in the heart of the Luberon
Villa Manon has been a great house for us. As a frequent visitors to the Luberon, Villa Manon is the only house we have stayed more than one time, and we plan to rent it again during our next visit.
The combination of its location and how the house is configured and furnished, make Villa Manon the perfect home base for exploring the magical Luberon Valley.

Very high quality property in excellent location
The owner was extremely helpful in ensuring that everything was organised for our stay particularly for my two 19 month old granddaughters. Thank you. The house suited us and our guests so very well. We could choose to visit the local villages or simply relax at the house and soak up the view. We certainly hope to return soon.

Provence Perfection
We had a wonderful time at Villa Manon. The Villa had everything we needed for our stay. The layout of the villa is perfect for family and friends and there is enough space for everyone to be able to relax but also spend time together. We used the cottage house for our guests that came for a few days at a time and the ensuite rooms for our guests who stayed longer. The pool is perfection with a gorgeous view of Provence. It is very well located with provincial villages less than 10 minutes away. The owner was very accommodating to our requests and the manager was very helpful with all of our needs. I cannot recommend Villa Manon enough! We will definitely be back.

An Absolutely AMAZING 2 Weeks!
Imagine being located in the most pristine beautiful charming area of Provence, in a fully modern and amazingly equipped gorgeous house - that's what you get at Villa Manon! As you can see from the photos, there are multiple areas for you and your friends/family to enjoy. Start the morning out with a great workout in the mini-gym, dive straight into the pool for a swim, followed by a delicious breakfast cooked in the perfect kitchen, and head out for a day of delightful fun in Provence. Fracoise has thought of everything, absolutely everything. Every cooking device (even a fondue pot), serving utensil or dish, spices and some linens are all there for you to utilize and prepare wonderful meals. The pool is enormous and great for laps and watching the evening fireflies as you sip champagne or the drink of choice. Because it does get hot in Provence, it's wonderful to have a garage to park your car in - there's even a handy vacuum to do a quick clean of the car after driving all over the countryside. We enjoyed cooking on the giant grill and we loved opening all the doors when we were home in the morning and evenings. Thank you Francoise for your thoughtful care in preparing such a wonderful house and thank you for making it available on VRBO!

Amazing holiday
This is second year in a row we have rented Villa Manon, and we are in love with the house and the region. The house is spacious and have all facilities. We appreciate the air condition in all the rooms. We like to eat breakfast in the cool patio close to the kitchen and lunches and dinners in front of the pool and the view of Luberon. This year we also used the petanque playground behind the house. It is impossible to see how beautiful the house is on the pictures, you need to to experience it! And I also need to mention that the closebye village Goult is adorable. It is like walking back in time and luckily there is less tourists. We hope we can come back next year.

It Couldn't Be Better
If you want beauty, luxury, astonishingly beautiful views, and a swimming pool that is perfect for Provence summer days, Villa Manon is for you. Plus, the manager is very helpful, available, and friendly--and nearby Goult is a charming village with history, great restaurants and few tourists. An ideal ten days we will remember and return to.

Exceptionally beautiful, peaceful place!
My family and I spent two lovely weeks at Villa Manon. The villa's public areas showcase the exceptional views by opening to the large terraces that surround the spacious pool. The bedrooms are large and have modern up to date bathrooms. The kitchen is a cook's dream- fully equipped ! Our family spent many happy evenings cooking or grilling our "market finds" and then enjoying our efforts outside on the lovely terrace with mesmerizing views. Besides enjoying the pool, we had many spirited bocci ball contests on the court by the side of the home. Plus it was such a pleasure to cut a few roses and other flowers from the large gardens that surround the home. Finally, we felt the location of the villa was perfect- plenty of privacy, yet close enough to run into Goult for breakfast croissants or to dine at the town's several excellent restaurants. We also liked the fact that Goult, while charming, was not as crowded as the other close by more well-known Luberon hill towns. All in all, a perfect place to stay in the Luberon- we are definitely coming back!!

Amazing villa... A dream come true!
What an incredible place. I booked this villa to celebrate a birthday with a group of friends. From the moment we arrived we were swept away by the magic of this place. It is perched on a small hillside with a sweeping view of the luberon valley with mont ventoux in the distance ..gorgeous! The property is incredibly comfortable..wonderfully appointed..elegant but not stuffy. Each bedroom has plenty of space and attached baths (the rooms in the guest house have brand new bathrooms that are stunning). The kitchen is great- so well stocked that we spent many evenings cooking at home (with finds from the local markets). There was plenty of room for the entire group- everyone could spread out, find quiet spots but then come together in the living room, porch or kitchen. Herve, the manager, was very helpful, heing us with dinner reservations and giving great advice.
Our entire group was completely smitten by our stay. We kept thinking we were in a magazine or movie. We would definitely recommend this place for any group..it is truley a dream come true. Many, many thanks francoise!

Incredible villa and amazing views
This was an incredible place..even better than the pictures can convey. The house is sited between 2 small villages, but very close to everything in the luberon. The villa was gorgeous with comfortable furnishings inside and out. We were a large group but everyone felt they had plenty of privacy when needed. Each bedroom had a private bath (newly updated in the adjoining house). The kitchen was fully stocked and we loved it so much we had a blast shopping in the markets and coming "home" to cook festive meals. The views were glorious...looking out over the luberon valley and all the way to mount ventoux in the distance...so peaceful. Herve was wonderful..meeting us upon arrival, making some wonderful suggestions for local restaurants and tips for travel. Francoise, the owner, was a dream to work with..very communicative, and she has a detailed list of the whole surrounding area filled with information about the local towns, markets, restaurants and wines.
Sitting on the outside porch, overlooking the valley at sunset while tasting local wines and cheeses felt like I had stepped onto a movie set..just incredible. I would come back in a heartbeat and I cannot recommend this place enough..it is magical!

October and Villa Manon
We've just returned from our third stay at Villa Manon and are simply delighted to say that, once again, our holiday was truly memorable! This area of Provence, near Gordes, is a favorite of ours, but the highlight of the journey is always Villa Manon. From the moment we arrive and gaze across the valley, to each evening as the sun goes down and we enjoy everything this home has to offer, we know we have made the right choice. Villa Manon is our "home in Provence". Thank you, Françoise, for creating such a wonderful place!

Another fantastic visit
We just returned from our second stay at Villa Manon, and are already looking forward to returning. The house, grounds, and location are all excellent, and our week+ visit went off without a hitch. The house is spacious, clean, private and fully stocked with all the conveniences of home (washer/dryer, American sized refrigerator, etc.) --and then some. Every room and patio is situated to take advantage of the spectacular view over the Luberon - including the large infinity pool.
The home is situated within close driving distance of some of the best villages in the Luberon (one of the most charming, Goult, can be reached on a short hike), and the coast and other great wine producing areas are all a manageable distance.
This is a home and location where you can truly relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings --very highly recommended!!

June in Provence
Stayed for 2 weeks June 2014. Wonderful big 3 bedroom house (every bedroom a large double room) + an outhouse with 2 more ensuite bedrooms - ideal for kids or visiting families.
A chef's kitchen with an abundance of storage and utensils as well as a great wood/coal BBQ outside meant that we ate most meals in.
Large garden and beautiful pool mean as well as 2 large lounges + 3 large eating areas mean there is more than enough space for everyone.
Property well maintained by the manager Herve and his team.
Close to all the best villages in the Luberon but just far enough away to avoid the traffic and buses!
This was our 5th stay in this part of the Luberon and the best villa we have come across
Hope to be back soon!

Amazing home
Just returned from a week's stay at Villa Manon. It is an amazing home in a wonderful secluded location. If you love to swim the pool is one of the best I have experienced and perfect for lap swimmers. The kitchen is wonderful for a group of people to share time and is fully stocked with everything you need. Everything about the home is perfect especially for groups with multiple couples. Each of the bedrooms are incredibly private, spacious and quiet. The views are amazing and the location is so quiet all you hear are the birds. Once you are there for a few days is it very hard to leave.

follow up review
My wife and I have stayed at this beautiful villa for many years. This year it was up graded with new stone floors, drapes and kitchen improvements. It was wonderful w/o them but is now even more spectacular. It has everyting that is impossible to find in Provence in 1 package. Large rooms, king size beds, AC,heated pool, privacy and fantastic views. This package does not exist in Provence other than here.
Cannot recommend it too highly.

best home in Provence--been going 25 years to the area
I have stayed here with my wife for severql years. It is simply the best home in Provence, especially if you are American. It has King size beds, A/C in the bedrooms, heated big infinity pool, huge well equipped kitchen with big appliances, great security, fantastic views, lovely furniture, large park like lawns, double garage and most of all it is so comfortable.
Close to the most charming villages in Provence. Closeby wine producers are wonderful and the wine costs next to nothing. When the last day comes, you will not be happy to leave. Francoise and Pascal the owner will stop at nothing to make your stay memorable and Herve the English speaking house mgr. is cell phone close if there is a problem, which is rare. The pictures understate the beauty of this home.
It is not inexpensive but when you arrive/leave you will know it was worth every Euro.

A special hillside retreat, in a great country setting
My family stayed at Villa Manon for a week ending July 4, and we wished we had a month. Comfortable, understated quality, compelling interest -- just a few of the adjectives that describe this lovely home on a Provencal hillside. Just what a vacation house in France should be! Most highly recommended.
We loved everything about it. I think the photos on the site are impressive, but they do not do the house justice in terms of its size, flow, comfort, accommodations, and quality of fixtures. The beds are comfortable and well appointed. And the bathrooms have the highest quality appliances and plumbing fixtures, including a luxuriant rain shower in the lower master bedroom. The house is designed to open from the main living areas to the patio and the pool deck, and these spaces flow together easily. In fact, everything about the house flows, from room to room, from inside to outside, from front to back, from downstairs to rooftop desks. The owners advertize that it comfortably sleeps 10, and it does, but it felt as though you could have invited 50 for a party and it would not begin to feel crowded. Very spacious and accommodating.
In most vacation homes there is a single, glorious master bedroom and then a series of smaller rooms that are not entirely comfortable for adult couples. If you have more than one family, someone inevitably gets the short straw. Not this house. This house has three bedrooms that could each serve as a master bedroom with comfort, style and attraction. My wife and I used the spacious room on the main floor, with a large attached master bathroom and shower, and direct access to the veranda. Great privacy and quiet. Loved the rain shower--nice touch.
Dawns were spectacular. If I lived there I would get up at dawn every summer morning. The mist in the valley and the color on the horizon is spectacular, and the valley is incredibly peaceful
The house is well removed from the road, on a large fenced and landscaped property offering complete privacy. Complete privacy and comfort.
The infinity pool is perfect for lap swimmers. The pool was my favorite part of the house, but many people would prefer the large Provencal kitchen. Quite atmospheric and appealing, spacious, and very well equipped—not just to have a few basics for renters. I thought there would be very little to do near the house, but this is a vibrant, area rich in markets, festivals.
Loved it all! Goult is charming. Thank you!!!

By far Exceeded all our expectations!
Dear Francoise & Pascal
Thank you for hosting us the last two weeks at your wonderful Villa Manon in Provence. We had the most marvelous time and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hardest thing was to leave the place after two weeks of an incredible vacation. We loved your welcoming house, the garden, and the incredible swimming pool with the best view. The 'Petanque' court was a nice surprise and we enjoyed playing every day. The hardest thing was to decide whether we visit this beautiful region of Luberon or just stay home and enjoy the pool and the great weather. We eventually made a good mix and visited pretty much every town in the region and still managed to spend time in the pool. We visited Gordes, Bonnieux, Fontaine de Vaucluse, and Isle-sur-la-Sorgue for a start, then we ventured a little farther all the way to Lourmarin, Mont Ventoux, Cassis and Marseille. Canoeing down the River Sorgue from Fontaine de Vaucluse to Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue was a nice activity. The house was very comfortable even when my brother and his family visited us from Paris; we were 12 at one point and it felt great. Your house manager and the service people were excellent.
Provence is really an incredible vacation destination and we are very glad to have come all the way from Seattle to enjoy its friendly people, amazing cuisine and wine, and beautiful warm and dry weather.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Manon. Located on a quiet hillside it is well designed, nicely appointed, and in excellent condition. Our group of 9 adults and 2 young children found many places to gather for conversation or to spread out when we wanted privacy or quiet time. We especially enjoyed lazy afternoons by the pool and dinners overlooking the hills and valley below. The surrounding area has a wide range of attractions and there is something for everyone whether you are looking for history, natural beauty, wine, or shopping and markets. The French-American owner provided detailed and helpful suggestions regarding attractions, towns, and restaurants in the area. I would recommend this home to friends and family.
