Our time on the island was wonderful and our lodging was a big reason why! Each person had plenty of privacy and the property is extremely well maintained. The view of the sound and neighboring fox family can't be beat! Will definitely stay again!

We stayed at this gorgeous home for a four day, three night trip to San Juan Island and loved every minute. The home was clean, a welcome basket overflowing with snacks was waiting for us, and the views were incredible. We enjoyed mornings on the deck facing the water views and even saw a fox one morning. The bed we slept in was comfortable, the downstairs game room with foosball/pool/table tennis was super fun, and the hot tub was very nice. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and some extras like syrup, and some condiments in the fridge. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay as we explored San Juan and Orcas islands!would definitely return!

Our first vacation on San Juan Island was amazing in big part because of this house! Even though we had a wheel chair and disabled child to carry up and down the stairs (we knew of this in advance), the views and the quality of the place was all worth it. The hosts and the management company were most welcoming and accommodating. We wished we could stay longer. The home is very comfortable and spacious. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. We enjoyed the ping-pong and foosball tables in the game room. We used the kitchen and the outdoor gas grill to cook three of our dinners. A long stretch of the road leading to the property is graveled with the middle portion between wheels raised up. We had to drive our wheelchair van slowly and carefully in order not to scrape the underside very much. This wouldn't be an issue for most other vehicles.There was plenty to see and do within short drives from the house. The magical surrounding of this place are very memorable. We hope to be back some day!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely and well stocked house on the southern end of San Juan Island. The house is situated in a gorgeous location with views of the Olympics and Canada and close to the best of San Juan Island (south end, west side) in our opinion. The house is very well maintained and stocked - comfortable for a family and friends. The game room was awesome with foosball, pool and ping pong. One of the best places we've stayed - a real gem - and the owners were very kind and welcoming.

From the moment we arrived to when we sadly left a few days later, the home and owners were welcoming and available, if needed, to ensure the stay was as we expected! We had younger kids and the surprise game room was exactly what was needed to keep them entertained while the adults sat on the front porch soaking in the view! the house had all the accommodation you could think of. cupboards filled with spices, coffee, towels and more. beautiful view of the ocean and amazing interactions with wild life. Foxes every morning and evening. could hear and see the Orcas right from the front porch.

Our friends and family stayed here to attend our wedding, and they had a marvelous time. The welcome basket was such a lovely surprise and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and cocktails. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the deck and water view. They said it was one of the most beautiful places they had ever stayed in. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early and drop off a few items before our family arrived. I would highly recommend this rental!

Loved the island and the home was really nice! Wish we had more information on where we could take a walk. Also was disappointed we couldn’t check in a bit early since we checked out at 5am. Otherwise, the property is nice! They left an abundance of snacks and lots of tea, hot coach and coffee!

This property was a magical backdrop to our family vacation. It was our first trip to San Juan, and the perfect introduction to all the island has to offer. It was located close to nearby adventures (a short walk to the beach and a short drive to American Camp and Friday Harbor — don’t miss out on 4th of July Beach!). The views from the deck were stunning, and the whole family appreciated the gift basket, game room, and watching the foxes at dusk. The hosts were very welcoming, and we only wish we could have stayed longer!

My sister and I brought our daughters to Friday Harbor for a girls weekend. While the whales disappointed, this beautiful home definitely did not. The drive to the home prepares you for the seclusion and privacy of the property. The home is perfectly appointed with amazing amenities (my sister and I didn't use much beside the coffee machine since it was a holiday for us too!) and even had a game room on the first floor. I loved enjoying my morning coffee looking toward the water. The local wildlife was also a hit with our girls (foxes and deer). We didn't need to bother the hosts and from all accounts they, too, are amazing people. The San Juan Islands are magical and I look forward to bringing the rest of my family for a visit.

We were very pleased with our three-night stay! The house is overall very comfortable and well supplied. Wood finishes are beautiful and provide a warm and homey feeling. We enjoyed watching the resident foxes and deer in the field below! The owner’s house is close by but the orientation and landscaping provide a very private environment with great views of the surrounding terrain and water in the distance.

This cottage by the sea is beautiful and very comfortable. My kids enjoyed playing foosball and ping pong in the game room and we all enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful water view. There is a family of foxes that live in the shrubs near this home and we enjoyed watching them frolic in the meadow outside the house. Upon arrival, we noticed a large basket filled with snacks, this was a very nice touch. The hosts are very thougful and the home is cozy and inviting.

Can't say enough about our experience at this home. Between the view, the foxes that lived in the meadow and just the overall thoughtfulness that came in the details of the home... we were in heaven. Loved the location and nearby scenery - there was ample wildlife and places to explore. We brought our 5-year old daughter and she says she wants to come back every year! Thank you for an amazing stay and we hope to be back soon.

Stayed here with my parents and fiancé for a weekend trip - the house could not have been more perfect. Gorgeous, tucked-away location with awesome views - we got to watch a family of foxes play in the yard each morning! The house was beautiful and immaculately clean, with a basement equipped with games. We were so sad we couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommend!

Water View Place was one of the loveliest vacation homes we've stayed in. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped and filled with light. The view of the water was stunning. We loved how quiet and remote it felt whilst only being a short drive from Friday Harbor. The hot tub was great and our kids loved playing on the grass outside. We really didn't want to leave.

Our entire stay was a fabulous experience. We loved the serenity of the property on the lap of the nature. The house itself is very well maintained and designed with very artistic sense. The kitchen is generously supplied by every possible need in mind. Both owners were very kind and friendly. Our kids loved the goodies gifted by the owners. Even though the owners live in another house close by but they made their best efforts to maintain absolute privacy of the guests being as less visible as possible. But they were instantly available when needed. Location of the property is excellent in between south beach and Friday Harbor. We will highly recommend this property for family vacation. We will look forward to return here in future.
