Great week on the River

Come once a year to visit family, another great experience thank you :)

If you enjoy the outdoors and nature, it doesn't get any better than this. Dolphins and manatees swam by. Crystal clear springs just a 10 minute kayak paddle from the dock. Outdoor firepit and grill. Just a wonderful place and can't wait to come back.

We love this property. We have been coming back every summer for years. Manatees, birds, we’ve seen a small gator in the past and this time, a lost dolphin. Also, the jumping, slapping fish are mullet and are very entertaining- especially when they almost land in your kayak. The canals are so peaceful and the river is beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to not have to eat out all the time. The charcoal grill is great for cooking fish from Trader Bay and steaks. The Italian restaurant at the corner is intimate and very good and now Boston style lobster rolls at the Hernando marina will be a must. Note that the Winn Dixie sells lunch meat that they roast there and get the Cuban bread and the deli pickles for sandwiches better than subway. Our kids have grown up coming to this river and kayaking. Every minute is peaceful and beautiful even during summer showers and we will keep coming back every year!

We had a great time! The place was clean and pictures accurately depicted the property, the only minor things (and they are very minor) are: shower door handle comes off and the master bed is a little squeaky, but again, very minor issues and I didn’t feel the need to bring it up during our stay, kayaking the springs was a ton of fun and I would recommend it to anyone who has never been there before. After all, we came there for the outdoors, not the indoors. Neighbors we met along the canal were also friendly.

The property is clean, the AC amazing, and outdoor play spectacular! Summer is attentive, gave clear check in, and I could text her with any questions. The kayaks were so much fun; we were so close to the magical clear river and we saw 3 manatees! My kids even swam in the canal. The house was perfect. The neighbors were so nice to my talkative little girl. Such a nice neighborhood. The state park is five min away, not to mention the best Italian food EVER at the entry to the neighborhood. 10 of out 10!

We had 2 families stay this weekend and it was great. Easy check in process, great location. Clean with a lot of thoughtful amenities - lots of towels and an amazing book collection. Would recommend and stay again!

Cleanliness was good, however this is the second time we have been there and side door still sticks, toilets are low and rock. Door handle on slider looks to be 100 years old and crudy looking. Sewer piping under home still has temporary patchs on them making you wonder. Another dangerous item is hot water tank over preasure pipe dumps out right over where you walk under, the wrong place the wrong time could be real bad!. They did put down new carpet on kayak ramp.

We loved the kayaks, perfect for kids. Gorgeous view from the porch, the perfect place to eat! Lots of wildlife, the kids loved the wood storks coming to the front yard. Summer was so accommodating, very helpful and kind. Thanks for the great time!!

This is as described and was a great fit for our family of 5. We had everything we needed from a plethora of towels (which is so appreciated!), pots/pans/utensils, comfy beds, laundry, kayaks. I really appreciated having the boat launch walk in because many houses had docks that required you to hoist into boats. Only issue for us was the overhead kitchen light was out so it was dark. I didn’t think to let the property manager know while we were there since it was a pretty short time but did let her know as we left so I’m sure it’s resolved. Other downside is just the mosquitoes but we got bug spray and lathered it on. After sunset I have one child who is very, very sensitive to mosquitoes and would have to stay in. We loved having Pine Beach right down the road and would spend afternoons there. This house is as described and I didn’t want fancy extras because most of the time is spent on the water.

This was the perfect place to stay for a few nights. The kayaks made the stay incredible, as we saw manatee on the river every day! There’s a beautiful deck where you may sit and watch the birds along the canal. The beds were comfortable, there was space for all of us and the kitchen was well stocked. You’re close to restaurants and any store you could want. Only as a heads up, if you like to go outside bring insect repellent. The no-seeums are annoying. Thank you for a wonderful time away.

Had a great stay here. Summer the property manager is awesome and called me the morning of our check in day to check on us. Definitely will stay here again. Ms. Sue the neighbor to the right is the sweetest lady as well so be nice to her.

Great house well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The area is beautiful, and November is a perfect time to come. Summer, the property manager, was great as well.

What a great experience. My family lives in Ecuador, and once a year they come to the USA. To have everyone under one roof was the highlight of my moms trip. Thank you

My friends and l love paddle boarding at Weeki. The water and wildlife are amazing. We had planned this weekend well in advance and were so excited. Then along came Hurricane Ian. Jonathan and Mandy and Summer, the property manager, were so patient and helpful with us as we were unsure if we would be able to make the trip. At the last minute, we decided to go. The house was ready and it’s so cute. Plenty of room and comfortable. We loved hanging out on the deck and it was easy launching our boards off the dock. A quick paddle up the canal and we were on the river. We all agreed that we will be back!

We truly enjoyed our time at the house. Most of our time was spent on the river and watching Manatees. Had Manatees right off the back deck and the flying fish are just too funny to watch. The house has everything you need and the location is great. Will be back.

The place was perfect for our quick getaway. Summer was very easy and pleasant to work with. Hope to come back soon.

This is a cute little home just a short paddle from the river. We only stayed 2 nights but had such a fun time paddling around as a family. I think the master bathroom could use a new shower head, but aside from that it was a great little house for a quick trip.

First time staying on the river and it did not disappoint. House was in an ideal location, tough paddle up river but we did not have to go far to enjoy the clear waters of the river. Amenities provided were ideal for what we needed. Summer reached out to let me know the property was ready earlier than scheduled. Deck was great to enjoy coffee in the AM. Overall great time!

Simple yet charming property just off the Weeki Wachee river. We had a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time! The property was perfect and bigger than I was expecting. It was clean and everything looks new and kept up. Summer was a joy to talk to and very helpful. It was so nice to have all the equipment we needed for the river right there so we didn’t have to bring anything. Right out back on the canal we had a mom and baby manatee pop-up right next to our kayaks. We will definitely come back! It was a really cool experience! Thank you!

This was our 9th summer here and it just keeps getting g better. We all Swam right off the dock. Brought Paddleboards with us and we were on the river everyday. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and grocery stores are close by . Saw manatees right beside the dock. Summer is awesome and you will love her! Thanks again for a brilliant vacation!!! My sister and I each brought our grandkids, we all loved the kayaking and swimming off the dock! the house had everything we needed!

What a peaceful spot. We loved being able to launch our paddle boards off the dock everyday! House is no frills but comfortable.

Amazing house. Lots of blankets and towels. Amazing view EVERY morning. Go down to the left and your right there in Weeki Wachee River. Lots of room in the yard for games. Comfortable beds and couches.

We only had a few days, but Summer helped us maximize the time we had! Home was clean and very well equipped. Beds slept great! Location couldn’t be beat and the neighborhood was peaceful, which was what we were looking for! Kayaking 10 mins to the beautiful clear river and seeing manatees was just the ticket!

From the minute we booked until we checked out Summer was beyond helpful and made the whole process easy! The house was even better than we expected and the location was perfect! It’s a short paddle up to the river where we spent most of our days. The provided kayaks were a huge bonus! The house is super clean and was comfortable for our whole crew. We cooked most meals at the house and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this house! We will definitely be back!

Great time with the family, 4rd or 5th time we stayed there and we always have a great time
