Our group of two families and one grandma had a fantastic time here. The house was so comfortable. Communication with the owner and Janet were exceptional. The pool was amazing for wearing out the kids. The sauna was rejuvenating. Close to Seaside and Florence. Would love to come back. Thanks for having us. It was perfect!

We were 8 moms looking for a relaxing getaway and that is just what we received. Everything was perfect and the house had more than we could ask for. The pool was perfect, as was the sauna. The only downside was that the trip was so short!

We had a wonderful time! The pool was clean and the perfect temp and amazing, especially since we just happened to be there during the hottest days of the year. Location is excellent, close to everything while still being privately tucked away. We also discovered how fun pickle ball is on the private court! Communication with the owner and the caretaker was great and quick, very nice and so helpful. The home is clean and well-stocked, and the caretaker is willing to help out in any way she can. A couple suggestions we left for the owner were very well received. We can’t wait to return next summer!

Close proximity to the beach with lots of fun activities at the property including swimming, sauna and pickle ball courts that our family enjoyed immensely. Very clean and well-maintained property. We hope to be back!

The amenities were all just as described. All the basic supplies were there, as well as lots of towels and linens, plus a nice little welcome basket. 😊 The grandkids were in heaven, spending as much time as possible in the pool. We did walk to the beach, about a mile, but if you do choose to drive, there is plenty of parking—even on the beach, which allows vehicle access. We didn’t see any elk on this trip, but the birds were friendly and there was one deer on the driveway. We also enjoyed s’mores around the campfire. The caretakers were always available and very helpful—Janet, especially. One small caveat. The pool is 3 feet at one end, but it drops off steeply, so young kids don’t have a wading area. This was a little hard on our youngest, but it did encourage the older kids to work on their swimming skills. This is one of the best places we have stayed!

My family of (8), ranging from 9 to 95 years old, had a wonderful time! The house was roomy, well-kept and very well equipped. We had days of enjoying the pool, the beach and relaxing in between, feeling very much at home. Communication with the owner, prior to our trip, was very easy and Jeff always gave prompt responses. After arriving, caretaker, Janet, was very helpful with answering our questions and even bringing us graham crackers for s'mores, since we thought we forgot ours. It was such a fun family vacay!!!!!

Everything was great! Pool was perfect and the pickle ball court was a lot of fun. While the house was not specifically set up for wheel chair access, one member of our group used a wheel chair and the single level house worked out well for everyone's' stay. The stay at the house was fun and relaxing. The care takers are very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this house with a nice private heated pool. Kids absolutely loved the pool.

I have been renting family vacation properties in Oregon and the NW for over 40 years. This is one of the, if not, the best ever!! Checking in and out was a breeze and all communication with Jeff was easy and he quickly answered what questions I had. Weather on the Oregon Coast in June can be a bit dicey (we had great weather) Jeff had the pool heated perfectly and it felt as if we were in Hawaii! Lawn games, pickle ball and the fire pit kept the teens and adults as busy as we wished to be. If you are looking for an amazing, active Oregon coast vacation you have found it!

Planned this weekend to celebrate our Mother's 98th birthday! Everything was perfect. Kids loved the pool, adults loved the open space and ease of coming and going. Everything was as advertised. We'll be back!

The home was great and gives you plenty to do if you're not wanting to run around every day. Heated pool, sauna, game room, pickle ball court with room in the house for everyone to enjoy. Kitchen is comes with what you need to cook if you're not wanting to eat out everyday. Fenced and set back from the road so you have privacy. Just a great place to stay and conveniently located between Seaside and Astoria for a short ride to either. Look forward to staying again on a future visit.

What an amazing property..First Jeff was awesome communicated well and had us all set up when we arrived. Janet was available for any questions while at the house. Great set up and will be looking at renting again during summer.

Home is as advertised. Beautiful large property set back from main road that puts you 5 minutes from downtown Seaside. Helpful communicative Onsite caretakers are in a home situated between main road and rental home. Very private feel. Large deck with beautiful sunset views, pool, fire pit and pickleball courts all incredible and as pictured. East check in and check out process. Owner very helpful and responsive to all questions and needs pre and post stay. Will be back!

We enjoyed our family reunion in this spacious, well appointed home. We had great communication with the owner and housekeeper. The living room is a wonderful gathering place with huge fireplace stocked with firewood. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook wonderful meals ( also had a well stocked pantry for the basics) We enjoyed exploring Astoria and the beach at Gearhart. We will be back!

This was a great house, clean, comfortable, and a wonderful place to relax. There was plenty of space for the seven of us to spread out. Our granddaughter loved the pool. We really enjoyed the well appointed kitchen and truly loved cozy nights in front of the fire place. Thanks so much for sharing you lovely home with us.

We loved our 3-night stay at this comfortable, beautiful, well-stocked home in Gearhart, Oregon. The outdoor pool was fantastic; clean, warm and perfect for kids and adults. Lots to do nearby, kitchen clean and fully stocked, beds comfy, and wonderful staff. 5 stars!!

This house was a great beach getaway for our family of 10. The pool was loved by the grandchildren, and the sleeping quarters and bathrooms (3 full bathrooms) worked out well for our family. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the amount of bath, kitchen, and pool towels provided. We walked to the beach daily (about 20 min. walk with kids), and fishing nearby was great as well. We caught lots of salmon, albacore tuna, and ate fresh caught crab almost every night. We will keep your place in mind for future trips. Thank you for providing a great, well stocked house for others to enjoy!

The beds were comfortable. The communication with owner excellent. Short walk to the beach for some of us. We had a disabled 4 yo granddaughter and she had a blast in the pool with us. And flying kites on the beach, perfect. We stayed mostly at home because it was fun in the pool and roasting marshmallows in the fire put. We played mother May I in the grassy area. Overall highly recommend.

Third time staying here and best weather and time in the pool. Easy walk to the beach, great house and layout. Plenty of room and great amenities, set up our pickle ball net on the tennis court and had a great time!

Beautiful home and property! The pool was amazing and the perfect temperature. The house was very clean and spacious. Great for a big 2 family vacation. We walked to the beach/ocean, but found it to be too long of a walk for some. We saw deer, elk and eagles during our visit. The fire pit is perfect for s’mores and had plenty of comfortable seating. The pool had more than enough lounge chairs. The home was stocked with the basic condiments in fridge and had plenty of pantry staples. We had everything we needed in kitchen to prepare meals. The only thing was the ice maker wasn’t really working well. The home is hard to find the first time as the turn is right off the highway. Maybe suggest adding a more prominent marker at the mailbox? Thank you for allowing us to create memories at your home. We had a absolutely wonderful vacation!!

We have been renting houses in the Gearhart area for years. Usually, we rent on the beach so we can watch the waves but this was a last-minute trip and this house was the only one available. I would not return to this house. Pros: House was very clean. In fact, we had to air out the house when we arrived because it smelled so strong of Pine-Sol or some similar cleaning product. Beds were comfortable. Frequently this is not the case with rental homes so this was a definite plus. House was well stocked as other reviewers have noted. The pool was a fun diversion that I have never seen at the beach. Cons: Very expensive for what you get. This is a 70's construction funky house that has no view of the beach and is right off the highway. Creepy lack of privacy. There is a ring doorbell and the owner monitors your comings and goings and the number of people at the house. The moment we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the house manager who lives on the property. We didn't leave the house much because the weather was pretty spotty. However, we ventured down to the beach one afternoon when we had a brief sun break. We immediately got a call asking us to return because the fire we had going earlier in the fireplace was still smoldering. We returned to the house and I got a barrage of crazy text messages with lots of exclamation marks about how we are forbidden from making any other fires and the house could have burned down. He then wanted to argue about whether the fire was smoldering or had gotten going again because he said he was looking in the window from the back deck while we were gone! While I suppose it is possible that the fire reignited after we left for the beach, it sure seems unlikely given that we were not gone long and it wasn't burning when we returned. While I can appreciate that the owner is protective of his property, his approach was super aggressive and the smoldering fire was fully protected by a fire screen. The owner was also very rude after I booked the trip and I emailed him to say that some friends might come join us at the house for an afternoon. No visitors are allowed without registering them and paying for them. In the end, it didn't matter because our friends didn't come but renter beware. P.S. I notice that this owner has a habit of posting extremely defensive replies to any review that isn't 5 stars so I look forward to seeing what ridiculousness he posts. BTW, we left the house in perfect condition.

This was a wonderful week. Our family celebrated time together after a rough year. There were 10 of us all together and the place was just perfect. The host and staff were very kind and attentive. we will be renting again next year!! Thank you

The staff at this site were amazing and extremely accommodating. Home was sparkling clean with everything you could think of available. Pool and sauna magical. Great fire pit, though we did not have time to use. And after a 12 plus hours on your feet, the massage chair was a wonderful addition. Beds were very very comfortable. We hope to come back when not a working stay to enjoy all this place has to offer in the future.

We are a family of 10 and the house was absolutely amazing. From the great communication with Jeff and with Janet, to the pool and the games the owners have truly thought of everything. We cannot wait to visit again!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The house is perfect for multigenerational family or a couple of families traveling together. We have stayed at a lot of rental houses and this was by far one of the best. It's a beautiful house that is fully equipped with everything you'd ever need. The caretakers live on the property and are very kind, friendly and helpful. The house is very spacious so it was perfect on the stormy days to stay in with a fire and play games, and we also very much enjoyed the beautiful deck and pool area. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this property!

We've rented our share of vacation homes over the years and this one is at or near the top of the list. The house was great for a multi-generational family get-away. Everything was very clean and comfortable overall. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking, including a great supply of consumables. We splurged on having the pool heated, which was a lot of fun on a brisk spring day. While a hot tub would be a nice addition, we enjoyed warming up in the sauna just as much. Really, we had no complaints and will definitely be staying here again.
