The five of us were thrilled with our accommodations! The property was beautiful and we swam with sea turtles within 15 min of being in the cove. We loved every minute of our stay and would recommend Honokeana Cove to everyone planning to visit Maui!

We have stayed in the villas at the ridge multiple times. We have trekked to the beaches and bays to swim sun snorkel. This was out first time at the Turtle Cove. The condo is a perfect home base well equipped and appointed. The front room is a very airy breeze cool relaxing retreat. By 7 am the street it faces is busy but we wear ear plugs so it never bothered us. The second bedroom was perfect for my son and the two rooms are divide by a nicely remodeled bathroom.
The loft up stairs had three twin beds and its own bathroom. That provided extra room for my daughter and her guest. They slept cool, quietly, and away from morning sun rise.
The kitchen has spice rack salt pepper vinegar and full pots pans lots of glasses and plates silverware. Even a Ninja blender!
The rental comes with beach towels and beautiful near full view of the cove and relaxing space on the balcony. The living room could seat more and you can stream all apps via their remote or we used a connected laptop.
The rental also comes with some beach chairs and a few things to enjoy the sand and some snorkel masks but we brought many of our own snorkels gear.
The star of the rental is the cove and how we easily went out and explored saw turtles by the dozen swimming or sun bathing on rocks every day!
The owner is very responsive and early in the rental week sent full instructions. He was kind and hosted well out stay. The entire place has some owners on site or frequently vi

The floor plan was perfect for us. The 3 bed loft with bathroom made life with 3 teenage girls a breeze. The 2 downstairs bedrooms offered private retreats for my husband and myself and my son and daughter-in-law. Snorkeling in the cove was some of the best I have experienced. Beautiful fish and turtles everywhere. Our host was very informative and helpful. In fact, we couldn't seem to get the coffee maker to work and he offered to ask someone on island to find one for us! If we return to Maui would stay there again.

We loved this small and friendly condo development. It was so much nicer than the other surrounding properties which are large and impersonal. The property is beautifully maintained (gardens, pool, and community BBQ are spotless). The cove is a lovely spot to snorkel or paddle board so long as the water is calm. Napili beach is a short walk away with a wonderful swimming beach.

We were having a wonderful time at this family friendly place. Easy walk to beaches and the cove had the best snorkeling. We saw lots of turtles. Sadly, our stay got interrupted by the horrific wind gusts and devastating fires on Maui. We had to evacuate. We would definitely return to this place in the future. The owners were so accommodating and very communicative.

Our stay at Honokeana Cove was absolutely wonderful! Graham & Carrie were wonderful hosts & quick to answer any questions I had (& I had a few)☺️
The condo unit was spacious, we had 5 adults & our 1 year old granddaughter with us. It was very clean & nicely updated.
The cove, which is steps away from the condo was so much fun to cool off in and see an abundance of turtles and fish.
DO NOT, & I repeat DO NOT hesitate to book this unit. You won’t regret it!

We loved our stay! The condo was beautiful and renovations were fabulous! The little community was quiet and well maintained.
The cove had the best snorkeling around. You don’t have to go beyond your front steps to see such abundance in sea life! The resident turtles were our favorite!
The groundskeeper was diligent about maintaining the pool, lawn and grills daily! The tiki torches each night were a quaint touch as well!
We have 2 young children and an older child/adult and there was something for everyone! We rented a paddle board and life jackets from a local company and they even deliver on site! Also, you can walk to The Gazebo for an amazing breakfast (go early the line is crazy after they open). Napili beach is a short walk as well and a perfect little beach to enjoy! Napili Market was perfect for our last minute snacks, drinks or poke bowls!
We are already planning our next trip!

The property was as described. Nicely decorated and clean. The location was perfect for snorkeling! Our 3 children snorkeled daily and enjoyed seeing the sea turtles. There are also other good spots within walking distance as well as hikes and restaurants. As other reviews stated, you can hear noise from the road in one of the bedrooms. The lack of AC was not an issue at night with the windows open. The grounds were well maintained and the pool was clean. We would definitely recommend the property to others.

Our family of 5 stayed in this condo for 5 nights in April. We just loved the cozy space; the updated finishes; the views from the large lanai; the wonderful outdoor spaces - especially the virtually private cove, pool and lovely green space; and the location. It is a very quiet, friendly and family-oriented condo community. It was a short walk to many places (just be prepared there aren't always sidewalks). There is onsite parking available, but the lot is a little tricky if you have a minivan. We would come back here to stay again for sure!

The location on a private Cove, close to shopping, beaches and other attractions is wonderful. Turtles! The sunsets are breathtaking. The unit is tastefully decorated, with comfy towels and beds. Large windows for beautiful views. Great communication with hosts. Note: there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was pretty stifling when we first arrived; we opened all the windows and turned on the nice big ceiling fans to get a breeze. The loft stayed a bit warm, the rest was comfortable, but with the windows always open, you can hear traffic and roosters, and the neighbors let you know if you're talking too loudly during quiet hours.

Love the small community here and the quiet hours. So relaxing and beautiful. The turtle and whale sightings were magical. The condo itself is great and very clean. Owner is responsive to questions. The grounds are immaculate and the managers were very helpful. Shout out to Ray for helping us out. Because they clean so well you may need to purchase cooking essentials and some paper products such as Kleenex and paper towels. We enjoyed the deck and speaking with other guests and are so sorry to leave. We would love to return here.

We proud our granddaughter on her 12 year old trip with her grandparents…. We had a blast. She loved having her own loft area. The beds were very comfortable and you can’t beat the view!! Turtles for days and whales whenever you lift your eyes out to sea!! Totally recommend this condo, we will definitely be returning.

This Condo is located in a quiet cove. The property is immaculate, the grounds are very well maintained. This cove is a quiet gem. Amazing views, access to the cove for snorkeling, the pool was very clean and well maintained. The Grills were spotless even though they were well used on a daily basis. The Condo unit itself was in a great location with adequate room for 6 adults. The unit was very clean and updated. It was stocked with the basic kitchen amenities. The condo is located on the quieter side of the island but within walking distance to some very nice restaurants and beach. It was the perfect place for our vacation!

The property was right on a trail. There was a lot of space for the whole family to spread out. Loved that they have queen, twin and king size beds. The beds were very comfortable. Nice big kitchen to cook in and a beautiful view of the lake. The big table was great for dining and playing games. There was enough room for our three vehicles and trailers. The sauna was used every day. We would certainly stay here again.

We loved our stay at Honokeana Cove. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the view of the ocean and Molokai was stunning. Snorkeling in the cove was phenomenal and very safe; even for our 6 and 8 year old children. The condo itself was very recently renovated and had everything we needed during our stay. It was modern and clean. The condo’s location was conveniently placed between Lahaina (15 minutes) and Kapalua (5 minutes). Even driving the road to Hana and getting to Haleakala weren’t too long to get to. I’d highly recommend staying here if you are seeking a peaceful vacation.

The listing is very accurate, the property sits on a great cove for snorkeling with private access for guests. It's hard to avoid bumping in to the turtles that visit the cove while you are snorkeling. Walking distance to my favorite beach on Maui, Napili Bay. The sunsets and views off the lanai are nothing short of spectacular. The lack of A/C was noticed a little bit at mid day when it warmed up in the condo, but surprisingly the breezes cooled the unit down well at night so sleeping was not an issue and the unit had several box fans as well as ceiling fans to create extra breezes as needed. Overall a "hidden gem" of a location and property as others have noted.

We had the most amazing stay at Honokeana cove! We don’t want to leave! :) The condo is gorgeous and was perfect for our family of 6. Our kids had a fantastic time snorkeling daily in the beautiful cove full of sea turtles! We loved the location of the condo. Close to beautiful restaurants and trails, and a short drive to Whalers Village and Lahaina. We hope to be back! It was a dream vacation!!

First leisure trip to Maui so location and property always a concern. Both turned out ideal for our family. Location is probably best on island if you like to snorkel and hang-out. Community is wonderful and we loved how everyone casually gathers for sunset-like a personal Mallory square.
Being Texans we had only to adjust to lack of AC but trade winds were friendly most of the time and all was fine.

We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful, serene setting. We have been to Maui several times and stayed in other locations. This was by far the best and we felt like we found a hidden gem. The home is beautiful, comfortable and stocked well. The property is well cared for and the pool was a perfect place to cool off. Above all, was the view of Honokeana Bay with Molokai in the distance and the bobbing heads of the sea turtlles below. The snorkeling was incredible as well. We will certainly be back!

Location, location, location
Property was perfect for family of 4 adults. We snorkeled several times a day and it was so easy to walk down to the cove , snorkel , walk up stairs, rinse off and swim. Meals on the patio were great. Loved our stay!
