Blue Skies Cottage! Fun South Island Beach Cottage, Fire Pit, Private Backyard Close to EVERYTHING!
¡Bienvenido a la Casa de los Cielos Azules! Esta casa de playa de la isla sur recientemente remodelada se encuentra en una de las calles de St. Los barrios secretos mejor guardados de Simons de Kings Terrace. Ubicado a menos de una milla de la popular St. Simons Pier Village Area y las playas, la casa cuenta con 3 dormitorios y 2 baños con varias salas de estar tanto en el interior como en el exterior para que los huéspedes disfruten. Una vez que ingrese a la casa por la puerta principal, los huéspedes notarán que el plano de planta de la sala de estar abierta con el comedor interior, la sala de estar delantera y la cocina se abren entre sí. La cocina es el espacio donde los huéspedes pueden reunirse en el bar de la isla y tendrán mucho espacio para cocinar con electrodomésticos de alta gama. La sala de estar trasera es otro espacio para que los invitados se reúnan para ver una película o ver el juego en el gran televisor HD con cable U-Verse. Desde la sala de estar trasera, los huéspedes ingresarán al enorme porche con vigas abovedadas, una chimenea de gas, asientos para cinco en el sofá y sillas, así como una gran mesa de comedor de la granja con asientos para seis. El gran patio trasero cercado cuenta con un paisaje profesional con mucho espacio para que los huéspedes disfruten del aire libre, así como también un pozo de fuego para los más frescos de St. Simons tardes durante el otoño y el invierno. El dormitorio principal de gran tamaño cuenta con una cama king con un televisor de alta definición. La suite principal también tiene un baño principal con bañera de hidromasaje y un amplio vestidor. Los dos dormitorios de invitados son de buen tamaño y cuentan con dos camas individuales en el primer dormitorio de invitados y una cama queen en el segundo dormitorio de invitados. We absolutely loved this rental. It was the perfect size. Loved the screened in porch. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was a very short drive to the beach and a short bike ride to town. Would definitely stay again.

Short weekend away, the location was walkable to lighthouse (1 mile) and tons of shopping and food options. Location could sleep 7, we had four so plenty of room for our small group.

The house was a cute cottage and in a great neighborhood. We actually loved the house itself but the AC doesn’t work that well and the kitchen is not insulated, so it made cooking in the kitchen impossible because it got so hot. Cooked one night and ate out the rest of the time. I will say that we called the property managers and they quickly brought in 2 portable AC units that quickly cooled the house, except it still didn’t cool the kitchen when cooking. The only reason I would give it a 3 star rating is because of the AC. Other than that it was great.

The pictures do not do this property justice! So full of charm! The house provided ample room for our family of 5 to enjoy dinners in each night, breakfast on the screened porch and fun activities in the backyard. We brought our bikes and loved how bike-able the neighborhood was with an easy trip to the pier or the beach. This house was exactly what we needed to unwind and enjoy our family beach vacation. The property management was super communicative and the home was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our kids agree that we will be coming back to this home next year!

We stayed at the Blue Skies Cottage for a long weekend with friends. The house was perfect for our group! It was located so close to everything we needed and the back porch was incredible! The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were well equipped and the living rooms were very comfortable as well!

Our family scheduled this vacation on St. Simons as a High School Graduation celebration trip for our youngest and loved every minute of our time. This home was exactly as listed, very clean, cozy and near everything in a great neighborhood. We rented bicycles and rarely used the car the entire trip. If you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation with a small coastal town atmosphere, great food and plenty to do, we highly recommend you start here!

What a great find! The house was clean and perfectly laid out with 2 separate living areas so kids could have their own space separate from the adults but close enough to keep an eye on them. The master is located on the far end of the house away from the other 2 bedrooms allowing for some added privacy. The screened-in porch and backyard provided more space to enjoy indoor/outdoor living. The property is less than a 5-minute drive from the town and the beach. The only minor drawback is the property backs up to the private airport but the pros of this vacation rental outweigh any cons. We would definitely recommend this property and return again in the future.

Everything was great.
Only complaint was a crabby neighbor who called the property complaining of noise. The call to us came around 9:12 Pm. We had a family group of 9 and one 3 yr old visiting around the fire pit. Everyone left by 10 pm.
When we drove up a couple walking outside were yelling at a truck driving by who had a loud motor and was not with anyone in our group.
It was surprising to us when I saw the voicemail from the Property Manager...who left a very polite message. The property was great, perfect for our family gathering celebrating our son's wedding on SSI. The one neighbor needs to learn to chill.

Charming and ideally located, this exceptionally clean and comfortable rental is a gem! Great layout, light filled, beautifully furnished as well as decorated on a lovely landscaped lot. Having a laundry room pocket door to the primary bath allowed more use of it without disturbing primary bedroom.
Screened porch with gas fireplace was a favorite spot. Even enjoyed hearing and seeing glimpses of small planes taking off behind trees of large backyard. Only used kitchen for coffee, drinks and snacks but it’s a lovely space that appeared to be well equipped.
Enjoyed pleasant walks to and from village area and around neighborhood. Also spent half a day riding electric bikes around and another few hours kayaking just a few miles from the house. Trolley tour is a good way to get an overview of the island. Trees everywhere are amazing!
A host of wonderful eateries, bars, shops, historic spots and friendly people.
Management company who handles the house rental was considerate, proficient and easy to work with.
As you can tell, it was an outstanding stay!!

The house met every expectation after reading all of the reviews. The finishing touch would be to provide another umbrella, chairs and a beach wagon. The drive to the beach was bearable but carrying beach items every day down to the beach was tedious.

This home was very clean! Even under the bed. (We dropped something and it rolled under the bed). The starter pack was very much appreciated! The communication prior to was most helpful. We felt as if we needed anything we knew exactly how to reach someone who could help us. We were definitely pleased with the home and plan to return next year!

June 1-5 Vacation Stay
We really enjoyed the Blue Sky Cottage! We loved all the decorations and touches throughout the house. It is on a very quiet street. The small airport behind this did not bother us. In fact, we enjoyed seeing a plane or two fly by each morning while eating breakfast. We saw a cute little rabbit the first day we arrived! We enjoyed seeing and hearing the birds. The beds were very comfortable! The only issue we really had was when we arrived... the house was hot and the temperature was set on 78. Not that big of a deal...just turned on the fans and cooled off. It was nice to have extra fans located in the closet also. I also really loved that this rental uses Nest products.... the Sicilian Tangerine smelled so good! Thank you for a wonderful stay in this beautiful, quaint area! We had a great time and highly recommend this adorable cottage!

Quaint little estate!
Our family of 6 (spouse, mother in law, three kids) absolutely loved everything about this home: the layout/spaciousness, extended outdoor living, privacy, proximity to everything and anything on the Island. Various times we said “we could live here!”, which is always a strong indicator that we’ll be back again. The house is well-appointed with an appropriate amount of decor and necessities without being overkill or being overly ocean themed.

Our Happy Place for a week!
We were so happy with our stay at Kings Terrace….the house is exactly as listed…well maintained including the inside furnishings….comfy beds! Having the front tv room along with the back sitting area & porch made our stay easy when we needed a little downtime. Our favorite area was the screened in porch with the lovely fire place which we enjoyed every night of our week stay. The lawn, gardens & outdoor area, along with fire pit, were well maintained & added to outside enjoyment. The house was within walking distance for the RSM tournament & was in a nice area of mostly remodeled similar cute bungalows. The management team was quick to respond to any needs or questions that we had…we definitely would stay here again & would highly recommend to others.

Annual Family Trip to St. Simons / Jekyll Island
We spend the first week of December on an annual family vacation to St. Simons and Jekyll Island. We have adult children so look for accommodations to handle multiple bedrooms and baths as well as a nice layout for the common area. Since Covid-19 we have spent more time making meals in, so the kitchen set up is important to us. We found this property to be particularly awesome for our needs. The back screened in porch with gas fireplace was perfect for evening hanging out time. The property is perfectly landscaped and inviting. Parking is great too. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the mornings. We also appreciated the games available for use during our visit. Taboo was a hit! We had a wonderful visit and recommend this vacation home.

We had the best time at Blue Skies Cottage! We prepared Thanksgiving dinner
and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit afterward. I wasn’t sure what to expect of the house but we were all very impressed and comfy and cozy the whole stay! Will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful getaway!!
