100 year old Restored Cottage with modern comforts near Milledgeville Ga. & Lake
Ubicada a 7 millas de Georgia College y State University, y Georgia Military College, y 10 millas de Lake Sinclair, esta antigua casa de inquilinos es parte de Fox Hill Plantation, que incluía 3000 acres. I had gone to visit my freshman daughter who was very homesick :( This was such a perfect place to stay. The cottage felt like little house on the prairie! The original walls and floors are amazing and the antique furniture makes it cozy and fun. You get the beauty and soul of the cottage, but with modern amenities (great climate control, great hot water and water pressure, super clean). The owners are very responsive and accommodating. It is only about 4.5 miles from GCSU West Campus. We will definitely stay here again!

This cottage was nice and quiet. Great location to get away but also close enough to restaurants if you wanted to go out. I enjoyed the privacy. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

The Fish Cottage is a very rustic, small cottage on a farm/farmette. Growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, my grandparents had a farm where I spent weeks with them in the summer. Our stay at Fish Cottage brought back all of those wonderful memories - except no crowing roosters in the morning!
Fish Cottage is a very quiet place to relax and unwind, but close enough to restaurants and town (I snuck in a trip to TJMaxx) that you can have the best of both worlds.

This was a delightful experience. I loved the cottage and the solitude; it was wonderful to sit on the porch in the morning and evening, listening to the birds and watching the squirrels. The surprise gift of a mini-loaf of sweet bread was so delicious, and the eclectic furnishings were intriguing. I would love to come back.

What a beautiful, cozy cottage/cabin! We enjoyed the recorded history of the home, as well as looking at every lovely furnishing and finish, which all melded into a comfortable, peaceful, relaxing stay! Our hosts were kind and attentive. The grounds were also beautiful and enticing with hiking trails and a lovely creek flowing through. It was a wonderful stay, and we look forward to another lovely stay at this amazing property soon!

Our stay was great! Excellent communication withowners from booking though departure. Not one jlitch or detail out of place. The cottage is actually very cozy, you can shut the doors and its private or open everything up and community. Pictures didn't do it justice. Thank you

We stayed here visiting our daughter for parents weekend at the college. The location was perfect and it was the coziest little cottage. The beds are so comfortable. The commutation with the owner was fantastic. I would highly recommend this cottage for a weekend stay. My daughter described it perfect…she said it reminds her of the cottage from the movie The Holiday.

Lovely little cottage out in the quiet country, but close to town. Host is very welcoming and accommodating. Amazing work they have done to restore this old cottage. If you are looking for a place to relax in the country and catch up on reading this is it!
