Secluded Mountain Cabin
Bienvenido a nuestra cabaña! Hemos disfrutado de muchas horas felices aquí y espero que usted también.
Es aislada y situada en la ladera de una montaña con excelentes vistas de la montaña Capitan. Reclamo folclore local que Capitan montaña es donde se adoptó Smokey el oso por el Servicio Forestal de los Estados Unidos para ser su mascota cuando un guardabosques del bosque se encontró con un oso pisoteando un fuego de campamento hace muchos años.
La casa está decorada profesionalmente con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, encimeras de granito, 3 televisores de pantalla plana con reproductores de DVD y una extensa colección de películas para su uso. Hay un reproductor de I-pod estación de acoplamiento / cd con altavoces en todas partes.
Los ciervos y alces cruzan regularmente nuestra propiedad y los pavos actúan como su despertador cada mañana.
Situado a sólo 3. 3 millas al norte del desvío a Apache de esquí de montaña esta acogedora cabaña es remota y aislada, pero cerca de todo. Compras en Ruidoso es excelente y minutos al igual que la Posada de El complejo dioses de la montaña y el casino y Ruidoso Downs Race Track. Spencer Theater es de 1. 5 millas.
La elevación en la cubierta superior es 7800 pies y los únicos sonidos son el viento a través de los pinos. En una noche clara se puede ver millones de estrellas que iluminan la cabina.

This was a short get away for my wife and I and my best friend and his wife. We have been friends for over 40 years. This cabin is absolutely beautiful. The split level gives privacy but easy access to the main area of the house. The cabin is a short distance from town making it very convenient. We absolutely loved being able to watch the wildlife. We had elk, mule deer, turkey and even a coyote to keep us entertained. This place is amazing. We would love to stay again.

What a wonderful week we had at the cabin. This is truly a Home away from Home. They provided just about everything you need. The cabin is comfortable and we spent a lot of time and enjoyed it tremendously, you definitely get your exercise though, up and down the floors, (which didn’t hurt us). The king bed was comfortable for us. The internet was slow (as warned) but that was ok, it did the job for us. We enjoyed feeding the animals: turkeys, deer, elk and a even a horse. The deer and turkeys were always ready for a meal . A trip to town is not too far down the road where we enjoyed a few good places to eat. This was the perfect cabin for us because of all the privacy and the wildlife.

The property was very nice and peaceful. Had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the wildlife. I named a few deer that visited us often. We had one doe that was there every day and she even visited very early the day we left. it was hard to say goodbye to her. The weather was a nice break from the Texas heat.

Nice quiet place to relax, but also close to all the areas we wanted to see and explore. Very nice cabin that accommodated the six of us nicely. We look forward to returning again.

We struggled a little to find the house, so better signage may help, but Renee was very helpful. And once we found it, our stay was wonderful! Just perfect for our Christmas vacay! Nicely stocked kitchen, well placed seating, and our dogs enjoyed the area so much, one of them ran off! Twice!! (She came back 🙂). Overall, our family enjoyed the home and our trip to Ruidoso was a great success and it was nice to have such a great house to come home to after busy days. We would stay here again, for sure.

This was our first time staying in a real log cabin. It was exciting to see it in person. The outside and the inside are spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The rustic decor gave it a nice cozy vibe. I felt right at home. The beds are comfortable. We slept nicely. Having a large deck to enjoy the scenery while sipping coffee was a great way to start the day. We watched for elk, wild turkeys, deer and birds. In the evenings we grilled and made s’mores. We had no issues with the stairs. The owners have thought of every detail and then some. This cabin is in a great location and highly recommend it. We had the perfect Labor Day weekend. We hope to come back to do it all over again.

The home is beautiful and the wildlife in the immediate area exceeded any expectation. We had four elk walk through the property one morning, plus there were deer, wild turkey, and wild horses! We definitely hope to have an opportunity to stay at this home again in the future.

This property was simply lovely and what really made it was the deck looking over the valley. Beside some maintenance and design challenges, this property was just what we needed. Saw elk, deer and different birds but no turkeys, heard them but no sightings.

Nice get away! Close to town yet feels like your by yourself! Beautiful views and abundance of wildlife! And walking distance to Noisy Water Winery.

The Cabin In The Woods was easy to get to and in a quiet area but not too secluded! The decor was lovely and made us feel very cozy! BEAUTIFUL CHARMING CLEAN COZY

Perfect get away home
Everything about the home was wonderful. Very clean and decorated beautiful. Beautiful outdoor deck with plenty of seating for meals or just relaxing. We loved the location. It's in between Capitan and Ruidoso. Would definitely rent again. Lot's of extra's made it feel like home.

Excellent Log Cabin
This is a beautiful log cabin in the woods! My kids loved hiking around the house and getting to see all the animals, we saw deer, elk, and turkey! The only complaint I have is with the kitchen being on the middle floor it was a pain grilling down stairs. (We love to grill) Other than that we loved our stay and would rent this cabin again!

Totally awesome
This cabin was perfect. It feels remote and private but it’s not far from town. There’s a winery/petting zoo at the end of the drive. It’s got plenty of room. Everything is well stocked-coffee, sugar, spices and plenty of pans and kitchen stuff. Bathrooms had soap, Kleenex and even lotion. The fire pit was great and so relaxing to sit outside. The deck even had two propane heaters in case you don’t want to deal w a fire. If you want a beautiful, quiet, relaxing getaway with more stars than you can count in the sky, look no further.

Secluded & abundant wildlife. What could be better in the mountains than a log cabin? Very nice host. Only complaint is that there was no Snow!

Amazing cabin!
This cabin was just what my family needed! Renee was so awesome to meet us there and show us around. Our favorite part was the deck! The views were breathtaking! The wildlife was icing on the cake!

Great Getaway!
This trip was for peace and quiet—and this place delivers that! We enjoyed the short drive to Alto Lake Trails to hike everyday. Saw Elk there. Nicely equipped kitchen! The Mountain View was not what I am used to—really only from balcony corner. But the wildlife—deer and turkey visited daily! Staircase is beautiful but a bit dangerous if you have littles coming with you.

Perfect Peaceful Get-away
We spent 4 nights just enjoying the peaceful views and accommodations! Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms in each bedroom was awesome. The kitchen was loaded with the necessities of cooking! The only constructive criticism I would offer is the need for a warm comforter for the pull out sofas. Thank you for a wonderful trip. We hope to rent again sometime.

Great house
The house was very nice, well equipped with lots of amenities, kitchen was very well stocked (although we did miss having a dishwasher!). One negative with small children was the spiral staircase. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect family getaway
This house is fully equipped! The three levels allowed my adult children with a baby some privacy. We really enjoyed both porches and my grandson loved seeing the deer, turkeys and birds that visited often. Our plan was to do some work in the mornings, however the internet was very weak and made that difficult - but our preference was to be away from civilization so working a little slower was fine! Overall I would love to return - it's a beautiful spot!

Beautiful Lodge in the Woods
"Cabin" is a misnomer, this property is a beautiful lodge in the woods. Our family visited to find some cool weather and quiet. We were met with a gorgeous building that had every possible amenity we could desire. Every room was a treasure trove of creature comforts.
Our parents are a little older. They were happy to have a full suite on the ground floor with their own private access to the patio. Every bedroom having its own bathroom made for quick mornings.
The kitchen was well outfitted. We enjoyed time spent eating around the island. The layout was sensible. There are pots, pans, and dishes galore. We normally pack a "kit" of kitchen basics but they were not needed on this trip.
Finding the cabin is a little tricky, even with GPS. Be sure to thoroughly read the instructions because the digital map marker is quite a bit off from the actual cabin.
No major complaints about the property. We could tell they were in the process of refinishing the upper deck and are eager to see how it comes out. Their work didn't prevent us from using the deck. There was a brief issue with the landline telephone (we were trying to order takeout), but we realized the main phone had been unplugged and were able to fix it.
Noisy Water Winery was right down the hill from the cabin. We were able to stock up on a few bottles of local wine and enjoy a tasting. They had music, a petting zoo, and some social events while we were there. It was great not having to drive into Ruidoso to get some entertainment.
We highly recommend this property. We hope to be back soon. Thanks for making this a phenomenal trip.
