We had plenty of space for our 3-generation family trip. Two bedrooms have window A/C units. The third bedroom stayed comfortable with the window open and the ceiling fan on. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are outdated and have some water damage, but they are clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, cutting boards, large bowls, baking dishes, etc. There is no foil or plastic wrap, but there are some storage containers. There are no spices or condiments other than salt and pepper. There are condo units above, and sometimes our neighbors walked heavily. The pool is very close (can be seen from the lanai), and the path for other guests to get to the pool crosses the yard in front of the lanai. Most of the time, it felt like we had our own front yard right to the beach. The grill is in the pool area and is community use. You can walk down to the small beach, which has a baby pool. We enjoyed the sunrises and the shade in the afternoons. It is very relaxing to sit on the lanai and look out across the yard to the waves.Mahalo!

This is the perfect spot! Plenty of room for everyone. Easy access to the pool and the ocean. Quick 15 min drive to Lihue (with traffic).

Unit 111 is ground floor with an unbeleivable ocean view. A well manicured lawn is right out the back sliding glass doors. Great layout, 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms. The interior is pretty much original decor. The entire unit needs to be remodeled. Bathrooms really need to be redone. Tile is dirty, caulking everywhere. Shower floor is heavily stained. You are given rolls of the cheapest toilet paper ever made ( we had to go buy our own) Kitchen has ok amount of pots and pans, but several were falling apart and not safe to cook with.There are no spices/oil/foil/plastic wrap. All they had was salt and pepper👎. Kitchen grout dirty. Unit has rugs that are old and worn. Currently this unit is a 2-3 star. If it was to get remodeled it would be a 5 star!

The place itself was roomy and handled the five of us quite easily. Lots of pots and pans and utensils which allowed us to cook a few meals -- including using the community grill. We originally had another rental in Koloa but wanted to be closer to the beach and boy were we surprised. The pictures do not do this place justice! As you walk out of the back door onto a grassy yard, there is a pool 20 feet and a private walkway down to the back just beyond the pool area. Each morning we could walk out into the grassy area and watch the sunrise with a picturesque view over the water. The condo itself is a little older but the decor and laidback aesthetics really made it such a pleasant stay. The rooms were all good sized and best of all, each one had its own bathroom. We will definitely be back, I highly recommend for those traveling with friends or family. The neighbors were really nice, very chilled and laid back.

We used a travel agent to book our recent vacation to Kauai and I asked Ned for an ocean view and a pool. Ned found us Lani Kai 111. It was the perfect spot for two couples and two grandmas and a 16 month old baby who is still crawling (family vacation). The grandmas shared a room and had their own queen beds and bathroom and the two couples each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The baby slept in a walk in closet in one of the bedrooms. We rented a crib, high chair and baby hiking backpack through a baby rental company called Babylicious that was listed on Kauai Vacation Rentals’ app. So everyone had their own space and there was a fully stocked kitchen and large living area and dining room. The best part about Lani Kai 111 is that is on the ground floor with a large lawn out front and an ocean view. We spent all our time outside on the patio as there is a big table to eat on. The lawn was perfect for our baby to crawl around on while the grownups were hanging out. The pool is just to the left and you can very easily access the beach by going through a gate right off the pool. In a few steps your toes are in the ocean. No road to cross. There is an enclosed pool in the ocean just a few steps down made with lava rocks that was perfect for our baby to play in. A short beach walk away (about one complex over) is the Lava Lava Club where you can sit outside and have a strawberry daiquiri and listen to live music. We visited Kauai at the end of April/beginning of May 2021 and the weather was great. Shops were just starting to open up again and there is a whole marketplace within walking distance where the grandmas had fun shopping. You can also walk across the bridge to Lydgate Park and stroll along the water. Good swimming for kids and a big playground. The East Side is a great place to stay because it’s easy to go to the North, South and West sides of the island. Overall I loved loved Lani Kai 111. March 2020 Stay
My two sisters, my best friend and I stayed at Lani Kai 111. It far exceeded our expectations. The location near Kapaa was perfect. Near to grocery stores, restaurants and, of course, the fabulous Coconut Marketplace. The location was a good jumping off site to points north and south.
As for the condo itself, it was wonderful. We loved the lanai, it was so private and the grounds were exceptionally beautiful. We felt like we had our own backyard. The condo complex is not large so there weren’t a lot of people coming and going. And we just loved the salt water pool! It was the perfect temperature and we seemed to have it all to ourselves. The condo is oceanfront and we would sit outside whenever possible just to watch the beauty of the ocean and listen to the waves. We were up every morning to watch the sunrise. Peaceful and spectacular.
The staff at Kauai Vacation Rentals were incredibly helpful and kindly worked with us on check-in. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

Spacious Condo in paradise
Three bedroom condos are harder to find: this one is ground level, so great for us in the older ages. There is a huge (common area) lawn leading to the rocks then ocean, and we saw whale spouts, surfers, swimmer, beautiful sunrises and sunsets from our lanai. All the beds were reported to be comfy, water pressure is good. The kitchen was really well-equipped, although the oven took 30 min to heat up. A smaller juice pitcher would be a good addition. The snorkeling gear mentioned is pretty much all broken. There are beach shoes in various sizes, lots of beach chairs, some umbrelllas, matts and noodles.
The shower stalls are showing their age, but bath and beach towels are plentiful, and the laundry system worked well.
We heard NO noise from neighbors or neighborhood.
The pool was a lovely temperature in January, a bit warmer than the ocean.
We would love to stay here again!

January 2017 Stay
This was a perfect location for all of our family vacation and all of our Island adventures. We ventured to both north and south easily. The property was beautiful. The main floor was perfect especially for the baby who enjoyed going in and out onto the beautiful front yard. It felt like it was our own. The condo was very spacious. It was so nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We really loved the home decorated with Hawaiian artifacts made it really feel like we were living the dream. This property is very roomy and comfortable. The end unit placement makes for a feeling of a private oasis. The condo is equipped with everything you can possibly need. The beach paraphernalia was greatly appreciated. Our whole family was very impressed-grandparents to teens.

Beautiful and we'll furnished beach front condo
The location is perfect. The sandy beach with a nice swimming area is just across the lawn and pool.
The condo had everything we needed for the week including great cooking utensils, beach chairs and towels, and many tour books.
The back bedroom have AC but we mostly kept the windows open and enjoyed the breeze.
It was roomier than we expected from the pictures. There are 2 areas for sitting (couches and chairs), a table that seated 8, and a patio with table and chairs.
The condo has a pool that we didn't use and a grill that we did (surprisingly clean).
This is a great condo to enjoy a Kauai vacation.
The mangers were responsive to a couple of requests we had and did a great job.

Front unit was great....but.....the unit needs a significant updating. The unit has very old fixtures, furniture and is in dire need of new kitchen and bathroom renovations. Also the unit is too dark. One of bedrooms closets was cluttered with old beach chairs and toys. The unit was clean and convenient to other areas of interest.

Family Vacation
Had a great experience staying at the Lani Kai location. The condo was very spacious, comfortable and well maintained. Really liked being right on the water and also being on the bottom floor. We were able to just walk out through the sliders, sit down look at the ocean (seeing some whales) and relax reading and talking. Being close to the Coconut Marketplace was nice as we picked up necessary items to have at the condo as well as go over to eat at some of the establishments.

This property has everything you need for a large family to enjoy a fantastic stay in Kauai. 3 spacious and comfortable bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, large tables, well stocked kitchen and a large lanai with access to a beautiful lawn area, pool and the beach. The view was AMAZING!! The location was perfect and the property management company was great to. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
