Waterfront Beach House with Gorgeous Sunsets

The home and view were beautiful, just as advertised! Bridget was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond, check-in and out process was smooth and easy. No complaints! Very hospitable hosts.

The house is truly right on the beach: we opened the gate from the back yard and stepped onto the sand. We had a fire on the beach while watching the sunset one evening, and it was exactly as wonderful as that sounded.
Bridget was a lovely host. She replied immediately to our handful of texts before and during the stay, and there was a treat with a hand-written card waiting in the refrigerator. We also appreciated the accurate and complete written directions for things like using the television and checking out.
The kitchen was reasonably stocked with basics, including a full set of nonstick pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils, and some oil and spices. The game room was a fun diversion, and we enjoyed watching the Seahawks on the giant screen while playing pool. Bedding and beds were comfortable, too.
The only complaint we would offer is that the kitchen and bathrooms were not fully cleaned. The counters had been wiped but not scrubbed clear of some stuck-on dirt, and one of the toilets was visibly soiled (omitting details for propriety). That said, there were adequate cleaning supplies, and the floors and other rooms were all clean and comfortable.

We loved staying at this VRBO right across the bay from Lummi Island and steps away from the beach. It was everything we hoped for as far as the house and the location. Shelling, birding and walking the beach was our favorite activities to make this a very relaxing place to stay. we loved playing corn hole in the back yard facing the beach. The host was very responsive with any question we had. The house was extremely clean and supplied to make your stay as stress free as possible. We would definitely stay here if we are ever in the Bellingham area again.

We've stayed at Waterfront Beach House over the weekend and everything was superb: communication, check-in/check-out process and stay.
We enjoyed the outdoors right on the beach, talked to neighbours, played pool and simply just relaxed in this very quiet settings.
If the time permits, we'll ask our hosts to do it again.

Super nice home and exactly as shown and described. The host was great to communicate with and left a nice welcome gift for us. Decorated very beachy and it was just perfect! Beds were comfy, kitchen was amazing (the appliances were all Viking!) The view is great and so many birds to watch in the mornings when the tide is out. Your view is looking at Lummi Island. The property was absolutely perfect! Great location, amazing sunsets, VERY cozy home. Bridget is a great owner -- responding quickly to any text. We had zero problems there. The bed is comfortable, shower pressure great, furniture new or in great condition, pool table awesome. Significantly, the property's kitchen was equipped better than any I have previously rented. I hope to establish a long-term relationship with this property!

We had great weather which allowed us time to be outside enjoying the views, beach, and sunsets. When indoors we enjoyed the fabulous kitchen and playing pool in the rear of the house. Very quiet location, would recommend this home for a nice getaway.

It has been one of the rental i stayed. It has everything to offer beach, sunsets, hikes, fun time, pool table, big kitchen, comfortable beds, close to casino, you name it.
I recommend this rental any day any time. For short or long term.

Relaxing getaway
Very clean property with plenty of entertainment. It is a little bit of a drive outside of Bellingham, very close to the Lummi ferry. There is a full kitchen and grill so no reason to leave. The sunsets are amazing !

Amazing sunsets
House had everything we wanted, a good kitchen, plenty of beds, a beautiful view and all the amenities we needed. Our group was in town for Ski to Sea, and this was the perfect spot. Sitting outside watching the herons fly by was wonderful. Good communication with the host! We'll definitely be back.

Great view, everything lives up to the photos
We had a relaxing stay for three nights. The home is furnished much nicer than most we have stayed in. Top line kitchen appliances, excellence in finishing details throughout. Pleasing and thoughtful. Lots of outdoor recreation/grilling/relaxing space. The living room/dining room has a comfy gas fireplace, large TV, easy to use, and awesome view. We loved doing our morning workout outside on the porch and yard, looking out at the water and passing wildlife.

A peaceful retreat
The view across the channel to Lummi Island was beautiful, the neighborhood was quiet and hours would pass without a sound except the birds. If you are looking for a quiet, well appointed spot, this is an excellent choice. You'll want to stop at a store in Bellingham (I recommend the Whole Foods if you are going to take advantage of the magnificent kitchen) and stock up. The house is at the end of the reservation near Gooseberry point which is an easy walk to the Lummi Ferry, but a 15-20 drive to almost anywhere else.
The house had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, all-in-all the perfect peaceful place to unwind, stare at the views, and do absolutely nothing but rest.

Beautiful escape
My mom and I loved our week at this home. So clean and comfortable and quiet. We loved just sitting on the deck and watching the sunrise, sunset, the birds, the fishermen, and the ships and sailboats in the distance. Plus, it was pretty exciting just cooking on that Viking stove!!! Bridget was very welcoming and responsive to my requests. As a side note, this home is pretty easy for people with mobility issues to get around and enjoy. There is one step to get in the house, and one to get off the deck --but no real need to even do that with the patio furniture and fantastic view. Getting in and out of the driveway is a bit exciting, but made easier with a rearview cam. We can't wait to come back--highly recommend!!

What a fantastic find!
Right on the ocean, your own sea wall, unbelievable sunsets, super nice home with a great kitchen, love the drive around the bay to Bellingham, locals are very nice, hint… back down the driveway!

Lovely Beachfront Home
Gorgeous ocean views, clean and updated home, responsive and pampering hosts…how can you beat that?!? Our teenager loved the pool table and surround sound in the rec. The adults loved the Viking appliances in the updated kitchen and the beautiful views from the main part of the home. Would highly recommend this property for a perfect getaway!

Perfect beach house
We stayed 3 nights from Thursday to Sunday! The home was perfectly situated on the beach just a short stroll away from the Lummi Island ferry. The Kitchen is to die for, high end appliances and all the utensils to cook a great meal. We had a great and relaxing weekend!

Beach Getaway
This is a perfect rental for a family. The hosts are generous and thoughtful. Everything we needed was provided, including a bottle of wine, delicious local coffee, and a vase of flowers. The beach and view are exceptional. Best of all, we watched a pod of Orcas from the shore.
