Excellent property, wonderful hosts bubbles and cake on arrival as it was my partners birthday was such a lovely touch. The roll top bath in the main bedroom was an added bonus. Parking on the roadside was convenient. The location for us was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this property

Lovely little cottage surrounded by multiple walks and pubs/restaurants. The roll top Bath in the master bedroom is a nice touch. The welcome gift was lovely.

the property is fantastic as are the owners and the lady Mel who looks after it! they all helped my stay go smoothly and made my stay perfect. the bed was comfy, the kitchen had everything I needed and the log burner made my stay perfect on the cold Christmas nights… everything was spotlessly clean and I loved the cuckoo clock in the kitchen so sweet! the Christmas decorations where a fantastic touch… a beautiful old yet modern cottage. I can’t wait to go back

Lovely welcome hamper. Comfortable and clean with high spec furniture and amenities. Bed was so comfortable and great to have the huge copper bath to relax in after a long walk.

Amazing property, small with plenty of quirks. Great location within 5-10 mins walk of all the local pubs/restaurants. Snake pass walk is just up the hill and leads directly to the snake inn. Would highly recommend.

Didn't dislike anything but a couple of things for maintenance...the downstairs toilet seat is loose and the outside front light could do with replacing as it's very difficult to see the steps to the door at night. Just constructive criticism.

Pretty cottage attractively furnished with comfortable beds and sofas. Perfect for a couple or 2 people sharing. Everything thought of inc all washing up things, toilet rolls, welcome pack etc.

'Mind your head' sign needed at the bottom of stairs for going up! Could have done with a tray and matches to light the fire. Also lots of mirrors but none at a usable height.

Gorgeous location and the master bedroom is proper treat for someone special. The second bedroom was more basic but perfectly comfortable and the whole place was absolutely charming. The hosts were also really responsive and provided the code with plenty of notice to prevent uncertainty on arrival day. Oh and they left a lovely welcome hamper and ground coffee too - even though we only booked in for 2 nights!

Best for people who aren’t too tall as the stairwell and lovely lampshades hang low.

We really enjoyed our break away. The cottage was in a lovely quiet area and was very much like a home from home. Comfy beds, cosy rooms, the children loved the walks and the bath in the main bedroom was amazing. The only slight negative was that there wasn't much to entertain the children of an evening, by way of board games, etc. We would definitely love to visit again, and have already recommended the cottage to several friends.

Great little cottage, ideally located for us as we were attending a wedding in Hayfield. The cottage was very homely and comfortable. with good sized rooms (except the second bedroom which was small but fine for us). Great shower and an unusual bath!

Nothing really, though we had a problem getting on the internet via the router. However we could probably have sorted this but didn't bother.

This house is so complete; it has everything you need. Location and view are Amazing. Would definitily visit again
