Our stay was amazing! Great communication with property owners. House was very clean. Perfect location on the river. Loved walking right out to the water. Saw so many manatees with babies and dolphins's. Right out back. Used their kayaks to travel the river. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at River Bend. They had everything we need for our stay. Publix close by for food shopping. Buccaneer Bay was 10 mins away.
Will definitely be back again.

We had a good time at the house and it looked as advertised however the river was brown for the 4 days we were there. This is not fault of the owner, but due to heavy rain. However, I wanted to let others know the reality of it since we paid a higher price to be right on the river for what we hoped would be the crystal blue views. Additionally there was dredging going on right in front of the property for one of the days. There are other homes in the area for less with similar offerings. The house is very clean. We really enjoyed the location on the river . Kayaks and back patio area were fabulous . Expect a lot of kayak traffic passing by all day. The view into the preserve was very nice.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house was spotless, the beds were quite comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed with quality cookware and appliances. If you are into nature and people watching, this is the spot for you. The bottleneck at the base of the steps funnels manatees close to your view all day and the occasional dolphin even passes by.
The host was very responsive to messages and went above and beyond to provide answers to inquiries. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was an absolute dream! We and our guests were very happy with our entire stay. Its right on the river which is where you want to be. We really enjoyed the toys for the river and plan to come back as soon as we can. The pictures are exactly as they are in the house. Thank you Raymond for being a perfect host!

Over all it exceeded our expectations! We loved the location near the water, charm of the home and abundance of wildlife. This homeowner loves his home and it shows.
We just wished we had thought our trip through and stayed there for the entire week and commuted to Orlando. The only negative to our stay was we all bang our toes on the metal bed frames. But the mattress more than made up for the black and blue toes.

Our family of 4 enjoyed staying several days at river bend. Very clean and well equipped with everything you’re going to need! As someone else before had mentioned the only downfall is trying navigate the construction debris in the garage. You unfortunately can’t avoid it when trying to get the kayaks out. Im sure once that is removed everything will be perfect!

Cozy house on the river. Only a minute from the manatees in hospital hole, a bit of an upstream paddle to get to the pretty part of the river. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, kayaks and a grill, kitchen with everything you might need, laundry, everything you’ll need. The river is awesome!

Location, location! Pictures don't do it justice. It is so nice and clean. This home has everything you need in the home and everything you need for the river. You can swim right in front of the house. Manatees, turtles, a dolphin, crabs, fish, otters and beautiful birds. The host is awesome, very responsive.

Our fourth year staying at River Bend. Very comfortable home for 6 people to spend a week as a family. Plenty of kayaks for guest use. Convenient sandbar during low tide for kids to play out of the traffic flow of the main stream.

Amazing house 5th time staying there always clean and kept up. Love seeing manatees and even dolphins in the back yard. Owner has always been helpful with any questions about the house. We can’t wait to come back next year.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for my brother's retirement celebration. The house was Very clean and well stocked. Good quality cookware. The host was very accommodating and great communication. I look forward to staying there again.

Very clean. We’ll equipped. Owner was very responsive. The AC stayed nice and cool inside. Kayaks we’re provided and in good condition. The location was by far the best part of this place. The steps leading to the river made it easy to access the river. We stood in the water for several hours and relaxed and talked to pretty much everyone that went by. When we were ready to get out we sat outside under the sun shades in the zero gravity chairs that are provided and continued talking to everyone. We saw several manatees even an aggregation of 13 at one point. We also saw 2 dolphins and a ton of fish. I would recommend taking water shoes for getting in/out of the river. No one was cut by the rocks or anything, but personally I think it would have been more comfortable to have on water shoes due to the rocks in the river and also the last step getting into the water was slippery since it’s in the water a lot of the time. Also note that in order for you to get to the Florida Room you have to go through a bedroom, which isn’t a deal breaker bc you can easily access it from the front door and walk around, but it is easier to access it through the room. So if you have 3 couples, one couple will have the other guests walking through their room. Also there are no bathrooms attached to a room and the “master bathroom” is very tiny. The master bathroom shower is quite possibly the smallest shower I’ve ever seen outside of an RV shower. Again, not a deal breaker, but good to know.

Raymond was great, very responsive and check in was easy. The home was the perfect size for us, it had everything we needed. The backyard was breathtaking, from the stairs into the crystal-clear water. We saw manatee as soon as we arrived and throughout our whole stay. Our visit was to celebrate my husband's birthday and father's day and on that day he caught a 5lb largemouth bass, what a great birthday surprise! We also saw otters and at times loads of people. All truly unexpected and amazing!

Very clean and cute. Nice linens. Everything you need for cooking in. Perfect location on the water. Saw manatees and fish everyday. Great sandbar for kiddos to swim just 50 ft. From stairway. We did not want to leave. Everyone had an amazing time!

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen has more than everything you need for cooking and BBQ. The house is clean. The spot on the water is great and you can swim and walk on the river from the house. Plenty of kayaks. And there are small solar lights around the house and sidewalks at night to help you see when walking to or from the river. Very peaceful spot. No homes or buildings across the river which adds to the serenity.

Perfect location on the Weeki Wachee River. A lot of the listings in the area are on a canal, or have another house right across from them. This home is on the main body of water for the best water clarity. We saw manatees, dolphins, sheepshead, gar, mullet, bass, and more. There is a small sandbar maybe 75 yards upriver you can swim or kayak to. The house was clean, well furnished, and had all the amenities you would expect. Overall 5 stars, can’t recommend enough.

We stayed in Weeki Wachee a few days prior to Thanksgiving. The host was extremely helpful and responsive with check-in and all communication matters. The house is located directly on the springs and has steps that lead down to the water in the backyard, which is very clear in this location. We saw groups of manatees passing by daily. About 1/4 mile downstream is Hospital Hole. A key spot for checking out manatees via kayak. Another 1/4 mile downstream leads you to Upperdeck restaurant which we paddled to for lunch. 1.5 miles upstream leads you to a beautiful park. We had the area to ourselves and our kids loved checking out the birds and exploring. This house serves as a beautiful location to explore Weeki Wachee. We can’t wait to go back!

The location and comfort of this house on the Weeki Wachee were above our expectations. We spent a lot of time in the Florida Room enjoying the people watching on the river and relaxing with a book. The house itself is very well appointed. Everything we needed was there. The Owner was very responsive to the one issue we had with the internet access and he resolved it quickly.
We will most certainly be booking another visit.

We loved out stay at the river bend house . The location was great for morning coffee watching wildlife and afternoons filled with boats and kayaks . everyone on the river was very friendly. Sorry we had to leave a day early because of the storm . The recycling was a little confusing only one large blue trash can was afraid to leave garbage out for 2 days. Hope to see you next year would absolutely stay again.

IT WAS LOCATED ON THE CLOSEST CANAL TO THE RIVER.
RIVERBEND, BEING ON THE RIVER WAS AN ADDED BONUS.

We Loved EVERYTHING about this property. It was the perfect setup for the 5 of us. Perfect spot on the river. Raymond, the host, was more than accommodating and SO easy to work and communicate with. The house provided exactly what we needed and wanted.
