Property was as advertised and host was responsive. Perfect place for a quick getaway with the family (and dog!). The surrounding woods/trails on the property were fantastic. The kids loved watching for all the different animals that came by during the day. Would definitely stay again.

The stay was excellent. Was disappointed about the fire ban. No stores. Was going to cook on gas grill but was out of gas. Charcoal grill not am option because of fire ban.

My husband and I, along with our 3 kids and dog loved staying here for 3 nights in the Summer. Sitting on the front porch is so peaceful looking at the trees and the mountain range in the distance. There’s a trail we hiked right next to the house which was nice! We saw bear prints one morning on our car, I saw what I believe was a cougar, we saw lots of deer too. The house was clean and the owner is very nice. It’s located on a dirt/gravel road about 10 minutes from the main road (I forget the name). We would definitely stay here again!

We had a blast but did not head the warning of 4x4 and had to buy snowchains. With them we didn't have a problem. The last day it snowed a to. Our kids played on the hillside and sled every day, the deer greated us every morning, and we made stores by the fire in the snow!

Loved this home! It was spacious, the beds were comfortable. The location was breathtaking. We woke up to snow our 3rd morning there and took advantage of the beautiful scenery and took family photos. Our puppy had plenty of room to run and explore. We will definitely be staying here again.

This was a great place to stay for a week in the mountains. It had everything we needed.

Overall very good experience. The location is absolutely breathtaking. Quiet, comfortable, and great views. It was nice to wake up to birds chirping and watching deer pass right by the cabin. Water was always hot and WiFi worked good. The loft area is perfect for kids, the retro PlayStation was awesome. Only negative thing is hauling our trash so far, but that wouldn’t keep us from staying here again. Thanks for a great stay!

A beautiful setting for a family Christmas in the snow! Perfect place to enjoy the snow with the grand babies, they had a blast building snowmen and sledding! My family and I did liked the house. The bed rooms down stairs was nice. My 2 grand kids enjoyed the loft. We did see a lot of wild life in your property (deer, chipmunks, rabbits and turkeys) which we enjoyed and took pictures. We did have a hard time finding the house especially driving at night. I think god was watching over us cause my daughter was having a heart attack (almost). We did spend time a Eagle Nest lake which was fun. One thing I found hard was trying to find a location for the trash. One day we took it with us and found a bin going down the hill. It would be nice to have a trash bin not so far. Otherwise we did enjoy our stay. Thank you!Theresa

The property was just as described and wonderful. Our entire family loved the cabin and felt right at home (away from home). It provided a great recharge to everyone and we hated to leave.

This cabin was VERY accommodating to everything we needed! We had 3 families, 12 people total and we all slept comfortably! We had a one year old and she had a pack n play for him which was so useful! The kids had a blast playing in the snow with the sleds that were there. The only thing is make sure if you’re going in the winter that you have a 4wd car because you will need it!! Thank you so much Amy for such an amazing vacation spot we will for sure be back!

Everything was easy, and went well.

The drive and view from this cabin is outstanding!! We brought four tweenage girls with us and they loved the loft, nice clean kitchen to make big breakfasts, and 2 very nice and spacious bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped too. I think it’s important to note that we had 8 people staying and never ran out of hot water. This has been an issue at other VRBOs we have rented. We had mule deer in the front yard and driveway every day we were here. The sunrises from the front porch are world class!! Overall an excellent experience.

The description given pretty much fits the bill. We arrived in the eve, finding the property with a map inside the 2019 Angel Fire Visitor guide we requested prior to our trip. We have Verizon and coverage was spotty, sometimes it worked. It took about 10-15 minutes to get there after turning into the country club. A few of the roads are paved but most are packed dirt but it wasn't a problem using a truck. It's a beautiful cabin surrounded by woods and scattered neighbors, spaced well apart, so you feel like you're the only people out there. The inside downstairs has 4 nice size bedrooms with good of storage for longer stays. The 5th bedroom I would call an open loft for the kiddos, with very steep steps. Rooms were clean and decorated well, conveying the cabin feel all around. The living area was cozy and had 2 comfortable sofas to rest on after long hikes. Our dog enjoyed his bed next the the wood burning stove. Kitchen served our needs fine and they have about everything you need to cook with and to clean up with afterwards since there is no dishwasher. There is a covered charcoal grill just outside the back kitchen door, but it was pretty full of ashes and needed cleaned out before using again. I would suggest they add a metal covered trash container with a scoop for disposal of the ashes. We chose to grill over the open fire pit they have around front. There are grill grates stored under the porch that came in handy. We definitely enjoyed our stay and recommend this property if you like being away from the crowds and in the woods, but still close enough to town.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Accommodated everyone perfectly. Super homey and inviting, the kids were excited to have an area to themselves. :) WiFi didn’t work. But it was fine we didn’t need it. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It had plenty of room and was supplied with everything we needed and more. The owner was great to work with and always answered any questions that we had. If I had any recommendation it would be to have an instruction sheet with just some basic information for those of us not familiar with the area. We could not figure out where the trash went and could not find some of the remotes to the T.V.s and DVD players. We also were not sure what all to do when we left......this was our first time renting a from VRBO so it was a learning experience for us!! Overall it was a good experience and we enjoyed it!!

Enjoyed our stay as three families with children. Might be nice to have a gas BBQ grill instead of charcoal but not a big issue. Enjoyed the area. Amy Diamond easy to reach and responded appropriately. We would recommend it.

We had an amazing time in Angel Fire. Our family of 6 adults were comfortable and relaxed during our stay. It was a special treat drinking coffee in the morning and watching the deer in the front yard. We loved the privacy as there was only one other property close by. We were very pleased with the property and how well the kitchen was stocked with cooking pots, pans, spices and even coffee! Mrs. Diamond was always available for my calls and questions and was such a lovely lady to talk to! We would definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

My best friend and I decided to take our children to the mountains to see snow. We booked this cabin and we had a blast! The layout is perfect for two families! You can split it down the middle and mirror each side. On each side of the house there were 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. We were very comfortable and not right on top of each other. The children had fun playing in the loft area where the kids games were. I’ve stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this was by far the most well stocked one. You pretty much had every comfort of your own home there. And I can’t say enough about the owners! Wonderful people! We got stuck in the driveway from the snowplow snow and Amy sent a friend over to pull us out! Also, my son left a magnet that he had bought with his own vacation money and Amy mailed it to us for him. That was so sweet! I highly recommend this place. Like I said we had a blast and everyone was super comfortable!

Amy was a great long distance host. We loved the cabin. It was spacious and well kept. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive if you go in the winter and there is a lot of snow.
