This is our second time staying at Exceeding Expectations. The house is excellent for large groups. The kids enjoyed the lower floors with lots of games and activities. The pool and hot tub were wonderful for fun after skiing. The kitchen and living areas are large and can fit lots of people comfortably. And the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time for the 19 of us. There were plenty of things for the children to do in the home.; they loved the pool. We all appreciated the bon fire outside while the weather permitted; plenty of wood. Day trips to the nearby State Park provided hiking and just enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

Had a wonderful time visiting deep creek. The home was wonderful for all our families. We enjoyed hiking near by, fires at night, and the kids and adults took advantage of the pool and hotube. Would definitely stay at this house again!

Loved the property. It provided ample room for all couples on the R&R outing. Great kitchen full of amenities. The game area, jacuzzi and pool provided lots of entertainment.

This was a great way to spend a week. Some in our group ventured out but half of us never left! Private, comfortable pool, tons of space on the decks… we usually watch a bunch of TV but we never turned one on here. Laurie did great with our requests, quite a mind for customer service. Though I never liked interacting with the Riley, I will say that when a smoke detector 25’ up a ceiling started chirping at midnight one night, there was someone there pretty quick with a big ladder to solve the problem. I would be happy to return, but may try check out Laurie’s other property instead!

We love this property, it’s location, the owner, and the service from Railey’s. The house’s amenities were fantastic. Our family enjoyed our week in Deep Creek largely due to the home base that Exceeding Expectations provided. We are coming back to this home.

The area is beautiful with lots to do. and we were fortunate to have lovely weather. Our only complaint would be the pool. Since it was totally enclosed by glass with a loud dehumidifier running constantly, we found it to be very hot and noisy inside. In the winter, I'm sure it's better, but not in the summer. Being enclosed it also had a strong smell of chlorine. We prefer an outdoor pool. That said, everything else was very accommodating for our family and well supplied.

I rented this house for my sister’s bachelorette weekend. We had 20 girls and there was more than enough room! We never felt cramped or on top of each other. The beds were super comfy and linens and towels were provided which was very nice. We were all amazed by how big and and gorgeous the house was. The hot tub was a big hit along with the HEATED INDOOR POOL!!! Laurie was amazing to work with. Throughout the whole booking process she was very responsive in answering all my questions. Even during our stay, she texted and emailed to see how everything was going and if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend Exceeding Expectations to everyone!

I stayed at exceeding expectations for a long weekend in September 2019. The owner of the home, Laurie was helpful from start to finish! She was quick and efficient with every step of the process, and I couldn’t ask for better service from the host! The house alone, was AMAZING. Slept my entire party of 20 people very comfortably, and with the size of the house, no one was ever too crammed! Four levels of amazing house, the heated indoor pool, fire pit and jacuzzi were just some of the highlights. Less than a minute drive to the lake and dock, and even in daylight you could see the lake through the trees in the backyard! I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in deep creek with a large party, it was well worth it! Thank you again laurie!

The property was perfect for our family! So much privacy with each room being a suite plus plenty to do for everyone, the pool, hot tub, and games. Two refrigerators, double oven, and two dishwashers We had a great time and Laurie is so responsive. Loved it!

One word - Amazing! Let me first start by telling you about the owner and management company - the BEST you'll ever work with. We had a trip planned with 5 families that got canceled due to weather. We reached out to Laurie and she couldn't have been more sympathetic and understanding with our situation. She got in contact with the management company and kept us informed all along the way in order to make sure we got a reservation and were taken care of! Absolutely the best experience I have had before our vacation even started! Now the Property - WOW! Everything was great! The house was immaculate and was perfect for our group. Each room had its own private bathroom which made it great that no one had to share! The kitchen and dining area were huge and worked perfectly for our group. The indoor pool was OUTSTANDING! We had 10 kids running around, playing, swimming, and just having the time of their lives! It made it perfect for days when it was raining outside or when they just wanted to get up and go swimming. The amenities were an added bonus as well - included with the stay was a pass to the local rec. center where they kids enjoyed swimming and part of our group was able to get their fitness done in the gym. Our entire group wished we could have stayed longer because this was a fabulous experience and a wonderful vacation!"

We had a wonderful stay at Exceeding Expectations! It was super kid & adult friendly. The property was clean & someone came everyday to check the pool. The pool was a big hit with all the kids & Deep Creek lake was only about a minute trip from the house. There was a dock for boat rentals down the street (within walking distance). There was enough room to fit about 20 of us comfortably. We would recommend Exceeding Expectations & hope to be back again!

Also, upon checkout we asked for one extra hour- till 11am. Even though there was no one scheduled to come in that day, the young girl who answered the phone somewhat rudely told me that we would have to pay for a whole day to get the extra hour. This lack of extraordinary service will prevent us from coming back.

Didn't exactly look like the picture but all the amentitIt's were there and even though it rained our entire weekend we were able to enjoy the house! Would recommend this location, especially to large groups or anyone with younger children.

This house was great! Our whole group (5 families) loved it! The pool and hot tube were huge hits, and it was such a good location to enjoy all the activities that deep creek has to offer (especially the mountain roller coaster at Wisp!) The owner and management company were also lovely to work with. Don't hesitate to book this one : )

My group had a great time at Laurie's property, there was plenty of room for all of us and many activities to take part in both in the house and in the area. It was a close distance to the lake as well as shops and restaurants. The process was super easy, would definitely rent here again!

the house was spectacular! From the games, to the hot tub ,to the swimming pool the decks, and Grilling outside . All the bedrooms have their own bathroom. adequate kitchen space and the huge table that we were able to eat together and every meal. easy access to the park and to the falls and thank you for the slips to get in free. the park was immaculate . overall weekend was great. It has been almost a month since my family reunion event at the Exceeding Expectations home (yes, I'm just writing the review but for good reason) and we have plans to go back for future family events. I started writing this review at least 3 times and felt the words were not eloquent enough to give the home its total praise! As a retired member of the US Military, father of 4 with 1 on the way, and full-time business professional...my life definitely has its stressful moments. Coordinating family reunions has never been on my "things-to-do" list. Laurie took all of the stress out of booking our event, she seemed to genuinely care about the needs of every member of our family. An absolute great person and I am definitely looking forward to doing business with her in the future. Now to the good stuff! This home absolutely has it all! Anyone looking to spoil those that deserve it...book now! Do Not Wait! Thanks in large to support from Laurie (the home owner), we were able to plan events and activities prior to arrival. 1. The initial response to walking into the home-breathtaking. The house has 4 levels so pace yourself as you initially walk onto the property. Every bedroom in the home is a huge "master" bedroom with its own bathroom! 2. We'd planned on eating at different restaurants doing our stay, until we saw the kitchen. The kitchen has 2 of everything, which makes cooking meals for a group of 16 much easier than we originally anticipated. We ended up cooking or grilling at home every night of our stay.The dining room table is HUGE and perfect for great conversation and meals; we also used it for game night events 3.This home is so accommodating that it can be very easy to just stay inside and make up reasons not to leave the "castle" or "palace" as the kids call it. My wife and mother-in-law both suffer from allergies so finding a home this elaborate that is both pet and smoke-free was major! 4. The indoor pool is where the teens and kids spent most of their time. I love that the windows in the pool area open to allow fresh air from outside. The pool tech really does come to the house everyday to ensure both the pool and hot-tub are functioning properly, awesome 5. Fast, reliable WiFi. Usually this would be higher on the list but the kids enjoyed the time with the family so much that phones and tablets were rarely used. I used it to conduct a few business transactions and it performed greatly The home definitely Exceeded all Expectations

My college roommates and our families stayed at Exceeding Expectations for a weekend in April. It was perfect for a large group of adults and kids. The kids had their own space away from the adults which we all know is ideal! They loved the pool, hot tub, pool table and old school video games in the basement. It was nice to have 2 refrigerators and dish washers for that amount of people. The bedrooms were really large which was nice because the younger kids ended up sleeping on the floor. All bedrooms had their own bathrooms. I loved that the house was in nice shape and clean, but not so fancy that you couldn't put your feet up or let the kids enjoy themselves.

A large group of adults and children stayed at Exceeding Expectations for New Years. The home itself was a perfect for a large group. Each of the bedrooms was able to comfortably host all of the different sized families and singles in our group. The kitchen was very modern and had 2 of everything - 2 refrigerators, sinks, and dishwashers. It led to an open dining area and living room. The living room area on the main floor was a bit tiny, but there are two more levels of shared space that is plenty comfortable. The indoor pool was also a big hit, especially with the kids. I must add that the home owner herself was extraordinarily helpful leading up to the stay and helped answer any of the questions that we had about the home prior to the weekend. Without hesitation, I'd recommend Exceeding Expectations to a large group looking for a vacation home in the Deep Creek area.

My friends and I picked this house based on the size and amenities. There were 6 couples total, all with small children under the age of 6. The indoor pool was awesome - the kids loved it and were swimming much of the time we were there (which was perfect for a cool November weekend). There is a fire pit that we all enjoyed for an evening of fun and s'mores! The 6 master suites were perfect and fit all 6 families very comfortably - it was great for each family to have their own bathroom. The location of the house was also great, as it is close to the Arrowhead market, Honi Honi, and Deep Creek State Park. Laurie was an absolute delight to work with - she is very sweet and extremely helpful. I would rent this house again just to deal with her! Overall, it was a wonderful weekend and a great gathering place for old friends to meet and spend time together!

This is the nices house we have ever rented. The home is beautiful clean and had everything we needed and more. We are already scheduled for March of 2016 that how much we loved it.

There was 18 of us and we had a wonderful time, weather wasn't cooperative, but a good time was had by all. We have been doing family vacations for years, and this is the first time, that we were in need of nothing. Place was very clean, 2 refrigs and 2 dishwashers is a plus,we had family meals every evening, plenty of cooking supplies, and of course the pool was a definite plus.Laurie was so helpful, would not hesitate to come back.

This house was just perfect for our family! Plenty of bedrooms, plenty of places to sleep, and the perfect location at Deep Creek Lake. The house is centrally located with easy access to both sides of the lake. The house itself was really nice, and the newly remodeled kitchen was roomy and functional. We prepared meals every night and enjoyed them at the huge dining room table in the great room. The table sat all 13 of us comfortably, and we had dinner as a family every night. Rainy days stuck in the house will not be a problem with a swimming pool, video game machine, wireless internet, wide screen TV's in the great room and downstairs living room, pool table, Foosball, covered deck on the second level, hot tub. This place has it all!

Exceeding Expectations was the perfect place for our family vacation. The kids were always busy doing something and had a blast. We surprised them with the pool, and they were over the moon with excitement - great surprise! We all had plenty of room and loved having our own bathrooms in each bedroom. I have been going to DC for over 20 years and have never stayed in a house where acoustically with a large group of us it was actually quiet. Usually you hear everything because of the open great room and kitchen, especially the rooms above and below the main floor. But this house was quite the opposite - amazing! Loved the location too - just off of the main road 219. Having 2 dishwashers really worked well for our large group. Truly a wonderful experience and Laurie the owner is awesome to work with! And the lady who came to take care of the pool was also amazing! Can't say enough positive things about both of them. We will definitely stay here again!

We took our Women's Lacrosse team to Maryland for a 4 days and 3 night stay. Our team had a great time. The house allowed for a number of activities to help the girls come together as a family. It was a majestic experience.
