We had a great stay in Union Pier. The home was the perfect spot for our multi-generational vacation. The kitchen has what we needed and the beds were ample and comfortable. Location was fantastic as we were just a few minutes walk from a great private beach. We loved the area and would definitely return to the home if we return.

This amazing vacation home had everything we needed and more for our week's stay in this quaint, magical beach community. We got to rest and relax while our family enjoyed the waves and the private beach. We rode our bikes safely enjoying the beautiful homes and historic inn, tickled to see the deer grazing along the route unbothered by our presence. Walking the beach collecting crinoids and selective rocks, and watching the sunsets gives us great joy and is so restorative to our bodies and spirits as we reconnect with family and thank the Lord for all the ways He blesses us.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at lovely Serendipity! We took daily walks in the beautiful neighborhood. Loved that the beach was so close and went daily with our family to the gorgeous private beach. Our adult kids loved playing games in the yard and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The outdoor shower was used daily after the beach. We used the sun porch for nightly game play and early morning containment of little ones and their toys. We used and enjoyed the provided bikes as well. There was plenty of room and spaces to spread out and have quiet time away or together time in this spacious home. Communication with the owners was quick and helpful. A few issues were discussed with the owners which they have secured a handyman to complete. We would certainly rent this property again as we made so many wonderful memories with our family who all completely loved this home and our time here.

My family and I have been vacationing together in Union Pier for 30+ years. We recently had to find a new cottage to stay in after our former cottage we rented burned down. We could not have been happier to find this house and it fit our family so well. We look forward to (hopefully) many future years renting here and making many more years of memories as a family!

Our family stay in this home with 9 adults and 2 small children was comfortable. Ample room in this 5 bedroom home for everyone. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We enjoyed cooking, grilling, the hot tub and firepit. We walked to the beach every day and could walk to Whistle Stop for lunch and Red Arrow Roadhouse for dinner. Host was very attentive to our needs and response time was immediate.

For our annual girls trip we decided to bring our daughters along so needed a bigger house. This is our 4th year staying in Union Pier. We loved Serendipity. It had plenty of beds and any and all supplies we needed. It is a short walk to the beach…maybe 5 minutes tops. Excellent location and very nice and clean home with granite countertops and many extras!

We had a blast! It’s hard to find something if large enough for big families, but everyone had ample sleeping space and comfortable beds. Kitchen/dining was tight, but we made it work. We didn’t realize how many steps there were going down to the beach (I think it was between 70-80), so hauling kids and toys and everything else was a little rough, but we managed one trip up and one trip down each day and made it work. Overall, it was one of the better cottages we have stayed at and would rent it again. Kim was very quick to respond!

We went for a family reunion. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. We took advantage of the outdoor grill, hot tub, and proximity to the beach. The owner and local manager got back to us quickly when we had any questions. Highly recommend!

This was a great home for our family (Jim and I, our adult children and their spouses and 5 grandchildren) to get together over Thanksgiving,. The fact that there was communal space on each floor made it easy for the kids to have their own play space and adults to gather in the living room.
Seating for 11 was a challenged but after talking with the owner, I brought a card table and chairs and it worked out just fine,.
Would definitely consider renting this property again., Only negative was that we arrived to a really cold house (42 degrees) It would have been nice if the heat could have been turned on in advance of our arrival. This was the only negative anyone could think of.,

Very nice and clean house that met all the criteria and description of the property. Beds were especially comfortable and bedrooms are roomy. Kitchen was stocked with many items and satisfied all of our needs. The jacuzzi has powerful jets and hot, but could have used fresh water as the water was pretty dirty.
I would definitely stay here again with my group.

This is a beautifully decorated and well-supplied home. Everything was in order and worked properly including the jacuzzi, gas grill, and indoor appliances. We did accidentally disturb a hidden nest of hornets in the landscaping, but killed them with insect spray provided in the home. This home is so comfortable and accommodating!

The home and property are both gorgeous and clean. We felt comfortable and cozy throughout our entire stay. The beach was easy to find and spacious so we had no trouble getting a good spot for hanging out in the sand or hopping into the water. The house itself has a wonderful kitchen and table set-up, offering great space for all the friends staying to eat together and play games. More details listed on the property page about what is included for renters' use and what renters should pack would have helped us better prepare; however, we asked the owners clarifying questions and they always got back to us so quickly - within hours! We'll certainly keep this place in mind for our next getaway!

We had such a great time going to the beach every day - just a short walk, even with toddlers! The house allowed each of the three families to have their own spacious bedrooms and their own bathroom. We used the kitchen a lot and it had nearly everything we needed. We hope to be back again next year!

Maybe the best testimony is saying that we are Going Back! We were 11 in our family and found the house to meet all of our needs and expectations. Well apportioned; beautiful beach within an easy walking distance; all the equipment you might need, our one week stay couldn't have been more comfortable and satisfying. The house set up worked perfectly for our group- the older grandchildren stayed up stairs with their parents so the had a place to stay up late and sleep in while the family with the younger children stayed on the first floor close to the kitchen and outdoors. Beach was wonderful- not crowded!

Serendipity was perfect for our group of 8! The home has five bedrooms and two of which have king beds. Hot tub and fire pit in the backyard were huge hits with the kids. A short, less than 5 min walk across the street leads you to the private beach. The times we went we were the only people there! UP is a close drive into NB without the congestion.
We only had one very minor issue with the trash not getting collected due to a holiday. The owner called me to apologize and offer a solution. She could not have been kinder. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an excellent time…we were looking for a short winter getaway from Chicago for two families. The room layout and amenities, including hot tub, multiple hang out spaces, proximity to the Warren Dunes, and walkabiluty to the beach were all just what we needed.
