Great location only a minute walk to the beach with no busy streets to cross. The cottage is clean and the location is awesome close to stores/restaurants and easy access to the beach.

Great access to beautiful, empty beach. Large cottage clean and orderly. Played pickleball. Easy access to great kayak venues, keeping tides in mind. Prompt response from friendly managers.

House was clean and comfortable! Proximity to beach is perfect! House is directly off A1A and you will have traffic noise. Owners were very responsive.

The host was super responsive and accommodating. The house is even better in person. Legitimate steps from getting your feet in the sand. Will probably book for next year

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and great location. My wife enjoyed going to the beach at sunrise and photographing the sea birds. Convenient to dining and old town. Did great for us and our adult kids.

Great place but it does have some road noise.

The house was very comfortable with lovely decor. The yard is nicely landscaped with an outdoor shower. The cottage is several feet to beach access and fully equipped with beach towels and chairs. It’s also close to dining and groceries. I would stay again on my next trip to St. Augustine (which is a lovely town).

Driftwood Cottage is an adorable, extremely clean property literally a 2 minute walk to the beach and a two minute drive to the nearby Publix. We had a week of great beach weather, totally enjoyed long walks on the BEAUTIFUL beach. If I could, I would just camp out at the cottage & Vilano Beach and never leave. The host was very responsive to a few questions I had. A great vacation. I would highly recommend Driftwood Cottage.

So many good things about this property. Location was great, steps to the beach. Minutes to drive back to town. A quick 10 minute drive to some nice trails for a morning run too. Cottage feels very secluded even next A1A hwy. Never noticed the traffic when inside. Very nice beach. Always plenty of room when we went down to the water. Sandy and a good amount of seashells to hunt for. When we arrived the was a welcome basket, my youngest enjoyed the specialty bread and butter while we were there. Outdoor shower was nice after being at the beach, the whole family loved using boogie boards as well. Finally plenty of room for our family of 4 to spread out inside the cottage. Was a great place for a summer family vaction.

Amazing property that anyone visiting would be in awe with. Every amenity was furnished including beach gear if it was needed. Walking distance to Publix or Beaches and with our 10 yo we spent the majority of the time on the beach. I couldnt have asked for a better property and hopefully will return !

The property is in the perfect location and we practically had the beach to ourselves. Scott was very quick to reply to all my messages and was a perfect host! Great vacation spot!

This house is absolutely gorgeous, my wife our kids and myself were blown away. Plenty of room for at least 6, we have friends in St Augustine and their kids spent one night with us and the house is big enough for everyone to be comfortable and the adults still have their privacy. We had an issue with the a/c, I contacted the property owner and the issue was taken care of the same day. A short walk to the beach, very close to grocery store and restaurants. Private yet still close to plenty of tourist locations. We plan to return to this house in the future, a truly special place for a family vacation or a couple looking for some rest and relaxation.

This is a honeymoon dream home away from home! Me and my spouse enjoyed our stay on Vilano Beach in St. Augustine FL. If we ever had questions or needed anything, the host/staff was helpful to answer and assist. The walk to the beach is only steps away from the shore. This place is more spacious than what the pictures depict. The only recommendation I suggest for improvement for a couples getaway stay is replacing the queen bed with a king sized bed (the queen bed is confortable though and me and my husband enjoyed "sleeping" in it). 😉 There is also a Publix down the road just a minute or so drive away and to get to downtown St. Augustine it takes an average of 12-20 minutes (depending on traffic). Also the host/staff provided a notebook for guests to write down how their stay was at the cottage and we made sure to write in this notebook for our stay during 05/28-06/02/2023. We were not able to figure out how to use the Fujicamera that was provided for guests to take pictures to add to the notebook (when the pictures printed the camera did not produce an image on the photo cards). We look forward to staying at this place within the next year or so!

One of the best places we've stayed. Close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood and close to fuel & groceries.

Nice and very close to beach, a one minute walk. Away from traffic of St Augustine but less than a ten minute drive to the many historical site’s downtown. If you love being at the beach side and the ocean, you will enjoy this location.

The house was amazing and just steps to the beach. My favorite time was watching the sunrise on the beach. Any questions we had Peter was right there to help, definitely will stay here again.

Beautiful cottage. Better in person than photos reflect. We were so impressed by how clean & perfectly appointed this property was. We loved how close the beach was from the front door. Such a peaceful place. Our stay was relatively short but we hope to come back soon to enjoy the cottage & beach.

This cottage is simply stunning. My children and I spent five nights here and it felt like home. The proximity to the historic district is perfect, literally a 5 minute drive. You are just steps to a breathtaking beach, perfect for watching the sunrise. Minutes from the grocery store also!! The cottage has all the necessities. The owner, Scott is quick to reply to your messages. The welcome basket was a perfect way to start our week. This cottage did not disappoint!! We are looking forward to our next stay!!

My family and I stayed here in July. We absolutely loved this place!! Parking was a little tricky but manageable. The house was very clean. We had everything we needed. And it was less than a five minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage! The pictures on VRBO do not do justice to the actual place. It is larger than it appears, tastefully decorated and very comfortable.

Scott is an excellent host, great communication. The only reason we did not give all five stars is that there is two other cottages on the same property that we weren’t aware of until our day of arrival and it is on the corner of highway A1A. Very loud traffic noise continuously. We weren’t aware of that info either . If traffic noise doesn’t bother you than this is a five star cottage. It is very very clean. very well stocked. Scott goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. A very short walk to the ocean. Minutes away from downtown St.Augustine, restaurants, and shopping. This is one of the nicest VRBOs that we’ve stayed at. We highly recommend.
