Esta cabaña de dos pisos ha estado en nuestra familia por más de 50 años. Se encuentra en una comunidad privada justo al lado de uno de los mayores complejos turísticos / puertos deportivos en South Lake. We have stayed here yearly for the last 3 years, and have had a fantastic vacation all 3 times. There are always new things to do, and the view can't be beat! I can't speak highly enough about this property and the vacation that comes with staying right on the water in Tahoe. You and your family will make memories that will last a lifetime!

We love coming to the Painter’s cabin. It is the perfect cabin and location for us to be together as a family! Our days were spent swimming in the lake, exploring the area and evening barbecuing and enjoying our meals on the deck. The cabin had everything we needed and the hosts are easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Location is fabulous, right on the beach/water next door to Camp Richardson. There is a huge deck on the lake where we spend most of our time playing games, eating, visiting and watching the kids in the water. The Kitchen is stocked really well, and with 6 bds, and 3 baths, everyone was comfortable. Thank you Painter Family for sharing your beautiful Home!!

My convoy security team tries to get together once a year with our spouses in tow. This trip has to be the best one so far. Your place was exceptional and there was so much to do in the area. We will plan this trip again for sure.

We had a great 5 days at this location. Fall is the best time of the year at Tahoe in my opinion and this house was perfect for our family, including a toddler. As described, awesome location, clean and well maintained. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful time at this Lake Tahoe home. We especially enjoyed the beach and the patio that overlooked the lake. We would love to return in the future!

We stayed here in this wonderful, on the beach home for our second time this year and are booked for next year already. The home is in a great location, and is very well equipped with plenty of deck furniture, and great kitchen.
There was no beach this year with the lake levels up, so we spent more time on the deck.
The lack of internet was disappointing because phone service is spotty, but we managed.

Aside from the June gloom which was expected, the beauty of Lake Tahoe is still unparalleled. The house is roomy, stocked well with whatever is needed, and in a great location if you want to do other things. It's our second time there and we'll definitely come back! Our group represented ages from 1 to 86, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I loved walking to the local coffee shop and bringing coffee back to the cabin to enjoy on the spacious patio! The views were breathtaking. It was very clean.

Before our arrival the manager explained us about the snow. But the driveway in all our stayed never was cleaned. We got stuck on the snow and we couldn't be able to get out because of that. We asked for help the plow guy who cleans the street to be able to get out. The internet went out and we couldn't be able to watch a movie as a family at night. There were a lot of bed available and they only allow 12 guests including children. We have 4 beds empty in our stay. Good location for summer buy not for wintertime.

Perfect location, perfect house
This is like staying at Camp Richardson, but better! We were two doors down from the marina, and rented SUPs and kayaks nearly every day. Perfect amount of beach, and great weather.
The house was the perfect amount of space for our large family: 2 sets of grandparents, 2 sets of parents, 4 kids. Grandparents got to stay downstairs and not hike up the narrow staircase. Kids stayed in the bunk room with the parents just across the way.
The kitchen was a little tight. We used the island as the workstation and serving area. The lack of pantry was concerning at first, but we piled everything along the back counter (feeding 11 people for a week means a lot of food!). We had everything we needed to cook meals every day. We ate all of our meals on the deck at the table that was able to seat all 11 of us. The dining room table inside was used for games in the evening.
The rooms ARE small, but all you're doing is sleeping in them. Lots of fans in the house, which was greatly appreciated!
I thought not having WiFi was going to be rough, but honestly the kids didn't mind at all and it allowed is to really enjoy the outdoors and each other.
The house was recently updated, and I appreciated how clean everything was. Really comfortable beds and bedding made all the difference.
We are definitely coming back. Thank you, Painter family!

This was our 2nd summer staying at the property, wonderful family spot and great lake front location with private beach which is perfect for all!

Good Location
Overall the place was good it’s a little run down the deck on the back porch is a nice View but needs to be updated nail sticking through the deck is rotten and falling apart please wear shoes for safety Highly recommend updating the rear deck it Caused my children to have spinners and cuts on their feet

A week in God's beautiful nature
We were very pleased with the house. It was clean, excellent location with your own beach, the kitchen was big enough to make big group meals in and was very well stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms are small, but you only need enough room to sleep. The large living room sofa was great for movie nights, and the large deck was great for hanging out on.

My family and I extremely enjoyed our stay, the home had views from every window. The house was perfect for our family gathering of 10. This was our first stay on the Emerald bay side, as We usually stay close to heavenly, it was secluded but not too far from downtown.

Christmas Gift: tripT.
This was a Christmas gift for my family; kids and grandkids. There were 6 adults ; a 13 year old; a 10 year old and a 13 year old. There was plenty of space and bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone to feel comfortable and not on top of each other. The large kitchen and living room made it easy to work and relax. Lots of wood kept a fire going and heated up the room. There are plenty of dishes, etc. so we didn't spend an inordinate amount of time washing dishes. The deck is beautiful, right in the lake. We all talked about wanting to come back in the summer. My adult son said as we were walking out that this was the most enjoyable trip he's been in in a long time. Our many thanks to the Painter Family.

EPIC Family Vacation
This wonderful home was the perfect setting for a multi-generational family trip. The views were SPECTACULAR! The common spaces were large and welcoming, with plenty of room for everyone. The rooms were small, but perfectly comfortable, tastefully decorated and super clean. I can't imagine how much fun this place would be in summer! We are hoping to make this an annual event at this home. Thank you for a GREAT time!
Notes: Kitchen is greatly stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook meals. However, be sure to bring your own salt, pepper, spices, cooking oils, plastic wrap, foil, etc.

Trisha is the best
We were unable to make it to Tahoe because of the snow. The owner Trisha texted me and let me know that all the roads were closed and the previous renters were snowed in. She canceled our reservations and gave us a full refund. She is an awesome person thank you so much for letting us know that we were not going to be able to make it to Lake Tahoe and for the full refund. I would rent from you again

Great stay on th lake
We arrived very late and once navigating a sort of odd road in we had no trouble getting into the house The main room is really great with expansive deck and beautiful views. Even better than expected. Sort of an off setup (two adjoining fireplaces and TVs) but very comfortable for a good sized crew. The couch is great! The bedrooms were clean but overall very cramped- we didn't care as main room was so good. The heating was irregular within the house and the lack of wifi was annoying for some of us (it was well communicated but still).
Overall a great place on the lake and nearby to many things. Great stay.

Lake Tahoe Perfection
The Painter family house was the perfect spot for our family trip. We wanted privacy, beach front access, and room for the grandchildren to roam............it is all that and more! As a bonus we met Dave, the owner, and truly enjoyed chatting with him. We look forward to another stay in this little gem!

Location was by far the best a family could ask for. Perfect deck and waterfront home for a tight family looking to spend time together. We spent 90% of our time outside and only used the inside to sleep or play late night games. Property manager & owners were extremely responsive in ensuring any concerns were addressed and our group had a complete blast.

A little slice of heaven
We are already planning our next family reunion here! Family from three different states with various different age ranges met here and we all had a fantastic time! It’s a beautiful home in a wonderful location with fantastic amenities nearby within walking distance. The private beach was a plus!

Gorgeous view from the house of the lake!Space for a few families.Place was clean. There were some odd design choices, and the heating is a little hard to dial in so everyone is comfortable. Also, no WiFi...if that’s important to you during your stay.We stayed in the winter...it seems this place would be ideal in the summer.
