the ambience and services

I really did like this place, they have several restaurants and lots to spa/workout related amenities, most free but what you paid extra was very reasonable. We stayed 3 nights and then came back for one final night before heading to the airport. Checkin and getting to the rooms was flawless both times even with a full lobby. The rooms were so big and plush. I can't say enough about how friendly the staff was and ready to help. Way to go Vivanta, can't wait to see you again.

Nothing could have been better.

The cleanliness, Location, and ambiance are great. The staff is friendly and nice. Great breakfast. Great shower. Markets and other important places are easier to access. The rooftop restaurant and the pool is fantastic!

There was some repair work going on during the day. So, there were some banging and noise that disturbed the peace.

Bar on the rooftop could be better. Hours of fitness room limited.

Vivanta is actually close to where I live and I use it for occassional staycations. Usually I have liked the food, room and rooftop areas.

This time my room was not ready, so I had to wait (they were not busy at all, so a bot strange. The room also turned out to be the smallest ever, and it took me an a technician an hour to get my wi-fi working. The worst was that the rooftop was in renovation, something not mentioned in advance. The pool was there, but so were the drilling noises and dust. No eating outdoors.

super service. very comfortable beds and rooms. and all facilities (gym pool sauna and spa). especially the rooftop restaurant is awesome with amazing views over Kathmandu Valley. also the staff is very attentive and very nice.

wifi was very slow and keeps getting disconnected

the property is not even close to how a 5 star should be. it’s a very 3 star kind of a property. sad to see a sad taj Vivanta in Nepal.

Nice atmosphere, the staff at the spa especially friendly and accommodating. Also the reception very kind. Breakfast buffet is rich in choice.

Not much to signal really, everyone is helpful. Only at breakfast you sometimes have to ask twice for the coffee. Which is a detail of course
