I just cannot say enough good things about this home. It is welcoming from the first minute you pull down the road, driveway and into the house. The homeowners have thought of everything, there is no disappointment here. The location is absolutely fabulous as well. From sitting on the back deck overlooking the pond and greenery, to walking across the road down a cute little path to a wonderful beach and even larger serene pond where the water is so warm you can walk right in. The beach setting is so peaceful, you’ll never want to leave. The kayaks and paddle boards were the most awesome addition to our time on the beach. It was also nice not to have to bring any beach chairs, towels etc. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. My family and I have been vacationing in the Cape for the last 11 years and we now know that we need look no further when we return. The breeze that flows through the home from the front to the back is just so soothing when you go to bed at night. The built-in grill on the deck is absolutely superb. You will never go wrong renting this home. Although I never met the owners in person, communication was easy throughout the rental process and beyond. This home and amenities is definitely a win-win.

Everything was perfectly lovely. Well supplied, very comfortable, very clean and we had a great time. Communication with owner was easy and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming. Everything we needed for a late October escape. Peaceful setting on a pond. Could spot water fowl from dining room table. Loved the church pew for seating in dining room. Comfortable seating in the living room to read or watch TV. Wooded trail across the street led one to Pleasant Lake beach , kayaks and gorgeous sunsets. Back deck included a perfect setting for supper under the lights.

Patrick’s house is just absolutely perfect for our couples getaway. With gorgeous views of water right from the backyard, and the perfect amount of space, we really enjoyed our stay!

This house rental in the Harwich area is centrally located and has easy access to many activities. There are several ponds for kayaking which we took advantage of close by. The house is in a lovely neighborhood, nicely laid out and decorated. It's perfect for 3 friends or a family with a few kids. the house was well equipped and easy to navigate. The owner PJ was easily accessible and responded in a timely manner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Cape and in this house and would definitely consider it for a future rental.

Cottage is in a really nice area w access to a pond. Short drive to Chatham. We’ll decorated. We liked it here the week we rented.

This location is a treat. The house is 2br and was great for our party of 5. The equipment (kayaks, lake toys, bikes) are well cared for and neatly organized. The small lake beaches were a great way to have fun around the house. Everything was easy and the location was very convent to get into downtown, Hyannis, and Chattam. Would hope to stay there again!

Delightful house with bouquets of flowers to greet us upon arrival. Very comfortable and relaxing. Private back yard to eat dinner or read a good book. Scads of birds chirping and totally peaceful. Would return in a flash.

Nice location to get to bike trails and Chatham. Kitchen so you can cook in rather than eating out every meal. Easy access to the pond beach across the street. Bring your own sheets and towels. Musty smell throughout and lots of bugs.

We loved it here, sad to leave. The house was perfect; the setting wonderful. Sitting in back watching the birds was a highlight. Can't wait to return.

Really lovely place, very clean, had everything we needed. Only complaint is that PJ was a bit slow to answer the few texts I sent, but everything else was just perfect.

This cottage is just beautiful, with some really nice woodworking on the inside and lovely views of the water in front and back of the property. We stayed on a snowy long weekend, and the gas fireplace was a delightful treat and n the evenings. Super clean. Nice fixtures. The nook overlooking the pond is to die for.

Stayed during the off-season but thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully decorated and well equipped house. Location was great, close to lots of hiking and the bike trail. The lake views were beautiful and watching the birds come and go was so relaxing. We hope to return soon and enjoy in the warm weather.

The house was beautiful, clean, and nicely decorated! The host provided a very detailed guide that left us with no questions. The neighborhood is very nice with the ponds and beach nearby - we had a great time out on the water a few times on the kayak and paddle board!! And Harwich was so central to all the places we wanted to visit. All in all a really wonderful trip, thank you Patrick for helping make it so terrific!!

My family and I just got back from this little gem in Harwich and were so sad to leave! Not only is the location perfect (and quiet!) but the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner was responsive and helpful, and super accommodating for some unplanned extra time on the pond after check out. We will be booking next year for sure, as our kids wanted to make sure this is a family tradition!

I think East Harwich in general and this quintessential "Cape Cod cottage" in particular are just about perfect! East Harwich is beautifully off the beaten path just enough to be quiet and relaxing and yet less than a 10-min drive into the more bustling Chatham. It also allows easy access up the "arm" of the Cape in one direction and about 25 mins into Hyannis for the ferries in the other direction. (In summer months Harwich has a ferry to Nantucket as well). If you don't feel like driving for an ocean sunset, you can simply walk across the road to a private beach on a lake and enjoy a spectacular view. In the cottage you will want for nothing. It was exceptionally clean when I arrived and had all the charm one wants of a "Cape Cod cottage." I was there by myself and never felt like it was too big, and yet a family would not be walking on top of each other either. It's laid out well and there's plenty of privacy and space both in the front and back yards. When I locked myself out on day one, I think PJ's response to my cry for help took all of 45 seconds! I will (and have already) definitely recommend this little slice of heaven to friends and family. Thank you, PJ, for a wonderful stay!

The retreat at Buck’s Pond was just what we needed. The cottage met all of our expectations. Patrick was readily available for any questions test came up. If you are looking for a nice peaceful getaway, this is the place!

This was our first VRBO experience and so glad we tried this instead of a regular hotel. We had to make relatively sudden plans and this was a great fit and a neat experience that gave us more of a vacation feel. The location is great with water views from the front and back. The owner is kind & attentive and provides several activity options for individual or family activities.

The property was wonderful; exactly what we were looking for with great amenities! The owner was very informative and checked in once we arrived to make sure everything was going well which was a nice touch.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Location was very convenient for spending time in Chatham and getting around the Cape. Our boys loved the private beaches, kayaking, and fishing. Great family vacation!
