We had a wonderful stay at the Ebenezer. Literally a block from the ocean where we spent many hours playing in the waves and taking long walks to the pier. So convenient to other activities as well - golf course, mini-golf, shopping, restaurants, etc. The house was cozy and fit our family of 8 just fine. A little more detail to the cleaning before we arrived would have put our stay in the 5 star category. John and Cathy were appreciative of our comments in that regard and were very responsive any time we reached out to them.

Nice 3 bedroom place with plenty of room for everyone. Additional room and bathroom located down stairs. Loved the outdoor shower. Enjoyed the beach umbrellas as tents on the beach are only allowed in certain areas.
Only thing I would change about the place is when entering house the porch/deck isn’t very wide, you have to step back down or stretch up to open then go up stairs. Would’ve liked a wider deck they.
Would definitely rent again though.

Property was cute with comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen. There was a grill and ample outdoor space. Close to beach, but I recommend the golf cart for hauling stuff and easy parking. Beach gear was a huge benefit. (We only found one umbrella, so if you need a lot of shade at the beach like we do, bring an extra from home.) Communication was super easy. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful vacation week at Surfside Beach. The home was beautifully updated and clean. It was exactly as described and was only a couple minutes walk to the beach. The owners were very accommodating and available if we had any questions. I highly recommend this property to others.

We loved the location and the freshness of the house! One suggestion might be a welcome basket of goodies for that first night (especially after a long/traffic drive). It was wonderful!

This property was great! It was so close to the beach and the walk to the beach became one of our favorite daily activities. The home was a little smaller than we expected but overall it had everything we need. The communication with the property manager was really good. Some extra things outside of the usual VRBO stuff but good.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ebenezer house! The house was perfect and was so close to the beach. The hosts were very nice and reachable if we needed them. This is an excellent beach house in Surfside.

We had a great time at this vacation home! It had every amenity needed including beach chairs, linens, kitchen equipment, easy walk to the beach. Easy drive to restaurants and grocery store.

Everyone from my 84 year old mother to my 7 year old granddaughter loved calling this Surfside home our own for the week. Very clean and well equipped! We especially enjoyed renting the golf cart - it was great for hauling all our miscellaneous stuff to the beach and not having to deal with paying for parking was a nice little bonus.

Ebenezer is a great home!
Our stay was wonderful! The only complaint, maybe it’s more of a suggestion, would be to have the basement room set up as a fourth bedroom with an actual bed…fold out sofa was not comfortable for sleeping at all. Other than that we had a great time. Will definitely stay here again if I get back to Surfside in the future.

A Beach Christmas Vacation.
We Loved this beach vacation. This home was very up to date, stylish and comfortable. It seemed to have been very recently remodeled. I even borrowed a few deco ideas for own home. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. With a T.V. in every bedroom kids enjoyed being able to have private quiet time in between adventures. The cookware was decent and there were plenty of service pieces for a nice size group. The convenience to the beach and local grocery was great. We walked to the beach every day and our young daughter had no trouble with the distance. We enjoyed being able to take one of the provided chairs or toys to the beach with us. We also loved being able to see the beach during a quite time of year. We have visited during the summer for years. Visiting during the off season still provided a great variety of things to do, some we had never done before and some that are only available during this time of year because they change their shows for the season. We would recommend this home and location to anyone and we are definitely thinking of booking again for one of our future family vacations. Thanks for a great place to stay on our vacation!

Nice house - good communication
The house was as described and met our needs. The location was good and convenient. Communication from the owner was very good. (very responsive to questions during the stay) Kitchen was well stocked and availability of linens/towels was great.

Great stay at Ebenezer!
Our family of 3 had a wonderful stay in Surfside Beach at Ebenezer! We had a family wedding in the area and agreed that if we were traveling from PA to SC for a wedding, we were going to stay the week! :) This house was the perfect set up for us given that we had to work and take online classes during the week. The wifi was fabulous! Three Zoom calls going at once on multiple devices and we had no issues!
The house was very clean and INCREDIBLY well stocked with amenities...everything you could ever need in the kitchen! We loved not having to pack our sheets, towels, or beach chairs! We also thoroughly enjoyed the golf cart! Fun to take to get pizza, go to the beach, or just drive around Surfside! Well worth the few extra bucks! :)
Melody Lane is a little bit of a busier road, but it makes it convenient to get everywhere...a great Food Lion is right at the end of Melody on Rt. 17. The house sits back from the road which helps with the privacy and road noise.
Overall a fantastic house with great owners who are super helpful and communicative!

Beautiful house in wonderful neighborhood
We loved this house. It was clean and bright, felt brand new and loved the decor. The house has EVERYTHING you need, from kitchen supplies to beach gear. All you need are a beach towel and your own paper supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins). We are two adults and two small children and visited during spring break. I wish we stayed an extra week! The town is so lovely, quiet and convenient.
My husband used the ground-level room as an office for a couple of days. We brought our own folding table for him. Internet was totally sufficient.
Cathy was wonderful to communicate with, everything is well thought out for ease of use. We loved the golf cart rental. So fun to ride around town and get all the gear to the beach with small children.
There’s plenty to do in the area. We enjoyed fishing at the pier (found a pod of starfish at the beach next to the pier), Brookgreen Gardens (we went twice as tickets are good for a week) Tidal Creek Brewhouse, biking, the beach, local playgrounds and a drive into Myrtle (not our favorite).
Highly recommend this house. We could easily bring my parents and still have plenty of space.

This place was very nice. The room downstairs was wonderful but has no access to get to from upstairs so really like a little apartment. The little porch to go into the house is to small if you have anything in your hands or a larger person you need to be down on the stairs to open the door because you can fall backwards if not. Other than this it is a wonderful place.

Exactly what we needed
Our family needed some reprieve after a busy and unprecedented 2020. Our spur-of-the-moment idea quickly became a reality and dream come true. Ebeneezer is a beautiful home and I am surprised and most grateful that it was available for the dates that we needed. I highly recommend this home and can’t wait to go back! Cathy’s decor and style was peaceful and soothing—exactly what a busy family needed in a home (when you are not relaxing on the ocean front). We had the best of circumstances… The beach just a short walk or drive away, grocery stores and delicious restaurants right at your fingertips. Cathy and John, the property manager, recommended the most amazing pizza place and it just goes to show their personal interest in our family’s stay. We needed this vacation and Ebeneezer was the perfect place to crash.

Great House and Location!!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PROPERTY!!!! We were their July 13-27 2019 and couldn’t be happier with the house. It is beautifully decorated and accommodated my family of 8. The room downstairs is a room of its own with a pull out couch and full bathroom and its own entrance separate from the upstairs. The 2 min walk to the beach was perfect or a short golf cart ride away. Cathy, the owner is such a pleasure to deal with. We are definitely going to stay here again.

Great July 4th week at the Ebenezer, Surfside
Our family had the best time at this property. It was very clean upon our arrival and nicely updated! It was so convenient to have all of the linens provided; all we had to bring was our beach towels. We ordered ahead and had our groceries delivered from Walmart. The location is very close to the beach. All we had to do was load up the golf cart with the chairs provided and head there for relaxing days in the sun. We would definitely recommend the Ebenezer!

Beach Getaway
We had a group of 6 people and had more than enough room for us to sleep comfortably. The property is fairly close to the beach but if you want, they can provide a golf cart to get to and from the beach. Speaking of amenities, they also provided beach chairs, coolers, corn hole, sheets, towels, and much more. Overall, we were very happy with our stay, and would definitely love to come back!

Relaxing Getaway
We loved this house! It is nicely remodeled and offered plenty of space for our family. The location is great, right down the street from the beach access and right in between the Surfside and Garden City piers. The owners stocked the house with every kitchen gadget you can think of including a griddle and crock pot. It was also nice to have beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards to borrow! We cannot wait to plan our next visit back to this house!

This place was terrific! First, very clean! Cosy, charming, comfortable, very nicely decorated, close to the ocean! We enjoyed our stay very much!!! The kitchen was great! Lots to do in that area! Very close to the Boardwalk. We highly recommend this accommodation!

Love Ebenezer Beach House
Ebenezer Beach House is fabulous. This was my third visit this year and I can't get enough. The home is so welcoming, clean and comfortable all you need to do is stock the frig and head to the beach. They provide beach chairs, chaises, toys for young and old, umbrella's and a golf cart. You can relax on the deck in the morning with your coffee and enjoy the evening downstairs grilling out, eating at the picnic table and playing corn hole. It's also close to eateries, grocery stores, gas station, shopping and only minutes from the airport. Do yourself a favor and check this place out; you're gonna love it.

Ebenezer Beach House is the best!!
This place is absolutely perfect I highly recommend it. It is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable just bring your beach towel and stock the frig and let the vacation begin. This home had everything you need all kinds of chairs, umbrellas, chaises, beach toys for big and small kids and a golf cart! We also enjoyed the picnic table outdoor shower and grill that's downstairs perfect place for some corn hole after a long day at the beach. I've been there three times already and cannot wait to go back. I highly recommend Ebenezer beach house; check it out for yourself your gonna love it. Don't forget the sunscreen.

Loved our stay at Ebenezer!
This place is absolutely amazing! A group of 7 went down last month and had such an awesome time! Ebenezer has beach chairs, linens, fully stocked kitchen, and golf cart all included. These are awesome perks when flying and relieves so much stress. The house is beautifully decorated and was very clean. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

A trip down Melody Lane
We just returned from a wonderful week at Ebenezer on Melody Lane. We are a family of six including four children 8 years old to 18. The bottom bedroom and full bath was perfect for our two oldest boys. The beach at the end of the road (short few min walk) was not crowded and our kids were able to play football, corn hole, and whiffle ball without running into others. This home is in a fantastic location with easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Larry and Cathy were great to work with and were available with any questions. The beds were comfortable and having three bathrooms a huge blessing. It is beautifully decorated and the color scheme so soothing. Much detail went into decorating this home. Sitting on the deck in the morning having coffee was peaceful. We grilled out several nights and also used the crockpot. The kitchen has everything you need! Another huge bonus were the sand chairs and umbrellas. We saved so much space in our vehicle by not having to take them. Lastly, having the golf cart was fabulous. The kids loved being driven around and it is so convenient. We will definitely return. Thank you Larry and Cathy for a wonderful week in Surfside.
